Great room and great location. It was also my birthday and after a long day of site seeing I came back my room and they had put a nice birthday cake there for me. It was a really nice gesture. Thank you for your hospitality. I will definitely stay here again.

A very strategic location in the heart of Bangkok. The BTS is just right outside with access to 7 eleven and boots. You can get your snacks and extras less than 5 minutes. The breakfast has a good selection of food. I like the salads. The pool is at the top floor with a great view of Bangkok. Rooms are very nice.

One of the best location in Bangkok. There are so much around and so many to do around the hotels. The hotel is nice but does not have a large area around it as it is surrounded by all shopping malls and hotels as well as a very famous high school on one of its side. It hosts several events throughout the week and it can be very busy. The lounge area is relatively small but the service is nice and one of the receptionist can speak quite fluent Chinese. All staffs are capable of speaking English to certain degree. The service is good. Again, the location is probably the selling point here whether it is for business stay or leisure stay. This can serve as a good resting hub for your city trip to Bangkok. Two sky trains stops are within walking distance from the hotel. The famous shrine and Siam district (one of the biggest shopping area) are also within the walking distance.

I was happy there. Amazing room with excellent city view, beautiful bathroom. Nice bar. The best hotel location! Costa cafe, supermarket, malls… Everything is close. Very welcoming and helpful people on reception.

Modern hotel with perfect location. The staff is very professional, friendly and even approachable. In a personal way all the guests strive to punishment a fulfilled stay.
Now for the third time in the Renaissance I have to say… Happy to stay again!
P. S. Tries the Pandan-Panecakes at breakfast, the nice lady at the appropriate stand will gladly help with the corresponding sauces.

Only came in for high tea, however it was so amazing it surely indicates the level of the whole hotel. The set for two was very plentiful and had various, very creative little bites. Even just scones were mouth watering and they were the simplest. Service was beautiful and attentive, but never intrusive. I dropped a knife and before I even picked it up someone was bringing me a new cutlery set. All in all just wonderful.

Awesome awesome place, my first time in Bangkok was a great one. Hotel staff were excellent. Friendly accommodating, went out of their way to help. The upgrade room helped. View could have been better but mehh. A very stylish hotel indeed and just a great overall stay. I'd recommend anytime if you're going Bangkok. You won't go wrong staying at this place. If you need to get around without the headache of traffic. The metro is just a stone's through away on the main road. There are shopping malls at walkable distances and also many restaurant choices. So enjoy it …

Consistent, friendly service. Great quality food. Chilled atmosphere, comfortable dining furniture and stylish surrounds. The views from the upper levels are pretty good too. We'll be back again soon, for sure.

I really liked it! The conditions are very good.

What a beautiful hotel and what excellent service! The Club Lounge (which we qualified for) was wonderful, with complimentary drinks and tapas in the evening and an impressive breakfast buffet in the morning. The room was well-appointed, with a stunning view of the city, but the floor-to-ceiling, clear glass bathroom (and toilet), while beautiful, was a little uncomfortable!

Great hotel. Service was absolutely amazing, even for a guest that was there only one night. We were upgraded to a corner room, a welcome gift was brought up and the breakfast was amazing. Staff everywhere were kind and ready to help. Highly recommended.

Been stayed here for 10 days and 9 nights. They gave me nice services, I love the room, especially for the bathroom. They designed it with glass wall. For the restaurant, maybe they should improve more variant menu. I also love the pool.

The reception at the Renaissance Hotel was perfect. The receptionist offered us an upgrade with access to the Executive lounge for the breakfast price which is very interesting.

Located close to the city area very near to intercontinental hotel and Central world it is one of the hidden good hotels in Bangkok. Did I mentioned the staffs are so will informed about the area and friendly. I would most likely be good back there again next time. Don't forget the drinks they serves at the reception area. I was here after new year's countdown. I was just in the main yard where they put beers and food. I payed 1000 baths to enter and just 30 minutes after, the DJ stoped the music and the party finished. Very bad experience about this place.

My good hotel and very good service. The suite on the 15th floor spectacular. Very full breakfast, both Thai and Western cuisine. Corresponds to the 5 stars you have.

In the city center area, traffic shopping is convenient, especially the sprinkler buffet, very delicious, 50 meters from the subway, access is super convenient.

My home in Bangkok! Feel pampered, especially at the club lounge. Everyone is always welcoming and smiling. Great assortment of food and drinks. Rooms are clean and housekeeping always have a special attention.

The location is very convenient. The sky train is a great way to get around. Don't miss out on the roof top pool. Great rooms and kind service but, as always, wish there was an included breakfast.

I spent two working days here to attend a tech summit. I find facilities and services very standard. Conference room was well organized with comfortable chairs and other facilities. Food was great with excellent selection of snacks and lunch items. Especially coffee they serve was outstanding.

A very good international hotel conveniently located next to major shopping malls, with decent facilities, clean rooms and excellent service from the staff. The staff in particular were very good, both at the front desk and throughout the hotel. Cleaning staff for the rooms were cheerful and friendly, and this was the same with the restaurant on the 2nd floor. My room was very clean and well appointed with power outlets in abundance (a must for a business traveler) In addition, I can highly recommend the conference facilities here and the staff who work at them. As both a conference organiser and presenter who used these facilities and worked closely with the staff there over the course of a week, I can only say I was extremely satisfied. The conference facilities were good, but what made them more so was the friendly, speedy and professional service of every hotel team member staffing them. Any request I had for support with regards to room setup or equipment was acted upon quickly, and always with a smile.

Went there for the buffet dinner, it was one of best buffet I had. Most of the seafood was delicious, except the crab legs, foie gras was heavenly but needed to wait as there's only one chef in the station which was obviously going to be popular. Lovely choice of cold cuts and cheese too. Tables and chairs were comfortably large enough to accommodate plenty of plates.

Its a very pleasant hotel, very nice rooms, the best Thai food you can get in a hotel. But we'd like more privacy in the bathrooms. There are no locks on the door, and If the doors are closed you can still see trough the door. It may be safety reasons.

We had several issues in the hotel. To start with at 5pm our room wasn't ready to check in. The worse was that security (who actually behaving like cops) came to our room at 1am that we need to change our room as the next door guest is getting disturbed. We were 5 of us sitting and enjoying the evening and just talking. Not even the music. It seems the walls are not made up properly. Is that my fault. They forced us to move to another room without any option. Shame to the entire staff at the Renaissance. It seems the training has not been given to these people. The night duty manager has no clue how to talk to the guest and behave. I really hoped to have a better solution. I am a diamond member with Hilton since 10 years and made a mistake of staying at this hotel. But NO to Renaissance. Totally avoidable.

Wonderful view of the river. Had dinner with show off local dances… If was amazing! Try the city chicken, great flavor!

Love the Royal Maneeya grand ballroom. Also dont miss Fei Ya restaurant.

Best Pecking duck ever, It served with signature side dish, drying Lychee. So it's fragant is so nice.

The check-in staff were friendly. Upgraded my room to a more comfy one.

Stayed for 3 nights in early May. Was upgraded to a club room with access to the executive lounge — it was well worth it. Breakfast here had a bit less variety than at Flavors, but the service was much more attentive. The canapes and cocktails in the evening at the lounge was enough for dinner for us, before we left for our evening shopping. We bought some light supper from some road side stalls and ate them at the lounge at night, since non-alcoholic drinks were available until midnight. The hotel is within walking distance to several shopping centres including Central and Paragon. It was only on the last day that we found out from Google maps that you can walk along a covered overhead walkway via Amarin Plaza next door to Gaysorn and Central World. There is a good food court on level 4 in Amarin plaza with a wide variety of street food — as cheap as or even cheaper than the road side stalls in cleaner surroundings.

Have a break, have a tea set in R Bar. Although food is not outstanding, service is excellent.

The hotel is a bit secluded. You have to walk a bit from the Chidlom BTS Station. The staff are friendly. The design is causal and modern offering a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant surprisingly provides quite a few food stations offering freshly served dishes.

Good location within Bangkok shopping district with 4-5 major shopping malls within walking distance. Great service with business center cater to business meetings with several high end meeting rooms. Buffet lunch is also available after the meeting.

The best Pecking Duck in town.

Great stay close to the BTS train station. It's in the shopping district, but you can easily access other sights. Staff is very friendly and the afternoon canapes are fantastic!

Second, I told front officer don't transfer my call in vain and she said last time it's about telephone system. This time, she will ensure my call will be picked up then my call was transferred. I wait for 5 minutes in vain again then I hanged up. The third time, I did my last call and I told the front officer asking your hotel to announce this hotel will not accept any call please do not make any reservation! Dear hotel manager, your in-house restaurants might be fully booked everyday. With this kind of service, I am confident to spend my leisure time with my family and my friends at other hotels. Lovely staff, nice location.

Me and my wife visited Bangkok in February 2014 during the hugh protest wave in Thailand. In the protest area in Bangkok people got shot by firearms and died by bombs. The Ratchaprasong Hotel is located in this critical area. We asked the hotel if it is possible in this exeptional situation to cancle the room or to change the room into another "Marriott" hotel outside this protest area. This should be no problem for such an expensive and gallant hotel chain. After a long discussion they were not willing to help us. So we had to book a second accomodation in Bangkok outside the protest area, had to pay the whole price and lost a lot of money. Marriott hotels — never again.

The environment around is very convenient, has everything. Room small, but compared to Hong Kong, okay, a lot! Service is very good.

Near to skywalk I remember I used this way to watch narni.
