The staff are very nice, very welcoming, the hotel is beautifully decorated, the coconut cake and fresh coffee are super delicious.

Loved my experience at the Oriental Residence. My bridesmaids threw me a Bachelorette Party there and it was amazing! The room has everything we needed and was very quiet and private! We could make as loud noises as we wanted and nobody was bothered. Would love to rent the place again for some house party.

My first time staying here (since it is a new). The experience was better than I expected. Service is great, and the rooms are awesome. A 5-10 min walk to the BTS or Metro, which is fine for me but worth knowing. I’ll stay again.

Staffs are really nice. Facilities are just a little bit outdated but well managed. Lacks of welcome fruits = minus 1 star. I visited 6 yrs ago, I loved their welcome fruits but it's gone now.

Flawless building with great amenities and service. Rooms have everything you could ever need and the finishings are of the highest quality. Food in the French cafe and restaurant is quite good, however room service leaves a little to be desired. Bed is particularly comfortable.

Great residence both daily & monthly stay. Really good view from our own rm with best location in downtown of Bangkok. Good malls, offices, restaurants, hotels and public parks in a min away. The best thing for this place is that it has 2 Michelin star restaurant “Savelberg” at ground level near Vidhayu rd.

Don’t bring your car if you want to stay here. They are easily the most inefficient and disorganized I have seen in helping guests park or drop off their guests. We had lunch in the cafe and my meal whilst the EXACT same order as one of my colleagues came 15 minuets after my friend’s. My friend was charged an EXORBITANT 750 baht for his 2 egg and toast breakfast even though he booked his room INCLUDING breakfast. Don’t confuse this place with the MANDARIN ORIENTAL because the only similarity is they are both in Asia. There are hundreds of competent alternatives in this part of BKK.

The only portability is a little further from the MRT, but the attachment has a number of department stores. Hotel clean and room space is very large, bathroom is very spacious and bathtub, service staff will take the initiative to say hello or ask for demand, breakfast meal is not much but exquisite delicious, especially homemade yogurt and latte coffee.

Luxurious rooms with beautiful views over embassy grounds towards Ploenchit. Very professional staff. Nice pool, partially covered, with cozy cabanas.

Good: Big rooms. Friendly Staff. Nice pool. Quiet location. Not so good: Water flow of the shower not strong enough. Water temperature difficult to adjust. Breakfast@Claire Café only good for the first day. The quality were just not as good for the remaining three days.

Amazing experience, staff is very friendly, food Amazing, bed linen — you don't want to leave the bed. There is kitchenette, with pans and pots and chef knife, microwave oven, dishes for microwave. If you want to cook for your self, you can. Deep bathtub, big shower cabin, a lot of drinks in mini bar. On the 4th floor there is a pool area, very tranquil place with bar. Love this place. Absolutely fantastic.

The location is pretty close to lots of shopping malls and street food areas. The room looked good, the bed was comfy. The over all cleanliness level is good but there were looots of mosquitoes in my room, and even after asking them to spray the room there were still some! The wood floor looked really good but made so much noise! Everytime someone walks on it, it squeaks so that was annoying. The staff are not so helpful and do not take fast actions. I would still give it a 4 not 3 because with all the negative stuff we experienced it was worth it because of the high level of convenience we had!

Excellent hotel. Excellent staff. Impossible to procure the guaranteed lowest price. Cannot get points if you do not book directly through hotel at elevated prices. Awesome rooms. No smoking hotel, but I saw a smoker wandering the halls, smoking. Smoking is illegal in Thailand. Very high review on most issues.

Impeccable service and the rooms are amazing with beautiful views. Very nice breakfast buffet with made to order items. The only downside is trying to leave the room, it’s just too comfy. I think I found my new home away from home. The location is central and only a quick 5 min walk to bts and 15 min cab ride to all the nightlife. Surrounded by so many restaurants in Lumphini too.

An absolutely amazing hotel. Couldn't fault them. The customer service was outstanding, great location, beautiful rooms with the most comfortable beds. And the pool area is stunning. Thanks so much for having us.

Im in love with this hotel
but im a bit shock
when I was at gym hotel around 22-23:00 then back to the room.
we found out that someone has been entered the room while we were at the gym. We didnt know who, but that person leave a message at our bed bout the newspaper information. I didnt know bout this kindda thing. Is it hotel regulation or what? I thought that stuff should be doing at morning or noon time while cleaning up.

Very nice hotel. We ended up (after a free upgrade) in a studio with kitchen and even a washing machine. Bathroom and bedroom were A+. There was a nice view over a garden. The concierge was very helpful choosing a restaurant.

The first impression is the environment is quite good, the design is very careful, color matching smell are quite relaxed, compared to the general design of the hotel, more than a point of home taste … Indoor space, furniture and other settings are quite good, very recommended hotel.

Good business hotel, not so suitable for holidays. Located centrally and quite quiet in the embassy area, great views of the skyline, rooms generous and clean. Pool not worth talking about, cold and boring, not suitable for children. Breakfast is customary for the country, but there is also no highlight, breakfast room small, extremely cold, and hard to stand. Sweater attached. Nor is there a way to sit outside. Otherwise friendly staff and recommended for business travellers. In this price range, however, there is better in the city.

Spacious rooms with a luxurious feel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful; a special shout out to the concierge, Bo On, who helped us eat our way across Bangkok.

We stayed at the Oriental Residence Bangkok 01.10.17-04.10.17. What an amazing place, lovely staff, the accommodation was Top class, facilities were great. I would totally recommend staying here.

Except about 5-10 minutes away from BTS.
The others are really good.

Ample space for travelers who need trimming. Night service staff to keep check-in for a while, the floor aisle seems not to open air-conditioning, the kitchen has a stain condition, cleaning to strengthen. Furniture is due to the use of the traces, in the planning of services in the home when the choice of equipment is poor. Sound insulation is not perfect, the night quiet can continue to hear the table and chairs moving sound. Truthfully provided to you for reference. The high-rise building overlooks the green of the outlying consulates.

Hotel decoration simple texture, very beautiful ~ Room does not have too much decoration, living up very comfortable, mini bar items are very rich, the hotel service staff are very friendly, half open-air swimming pool is also very worthwhile to go.
The small disadvantage is that the hair dryer is manually pressed,
Then the pillow is soft, but can react to the counter and replace it with a different material pillow.
But it doesn't affect the hotel's love.

Nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Poolside and the oriental bar is typically quiet and relaxing (save for special events). Breakfast and high tea was reasonable, and service was all around professional and courteous. The huge bathroom in the one bedroom suite has got to be the highlight.

Gorgeous suites, well cared for, sleek and clean. Whole experience was fantastic. Only criticism is that Wifi was a bit spotty in bedroom, but good in work/living space. Would stay again and recommend to others. Fantastic view of park as well.

The hotel's room service is top-notch, same with the food. The elegant music as you enter the hotel really sets the mood after the flight, the staff are amazing and are friendly with the people which is a requirement to all hotels, would recommend to anyone who would want to come to Bangkok!

One of the nicest hotels in Bangkok. Our room was very large and nicely arranged. The kitchen was fully equipped and the mini bar had an excellent selection of snacks, wine and beer. The bathroom was enormous and the highlight of the room. The view was also top-notch. The location was also great: close to BTS, malls, market (Tops All Seasons), and cafes and restaurants. The few interactions I had with staff were genuine and professional.

The staff here are AMAZING! The rooms are amazing for space, comfort and safety. Located just minutes away from Siam Paragon, with views of the amazing park and snuggled between all the embassies, this hotel is a MUST for anyone visiting Bangkok. And we can't forget how amazing their Cafe Claire is. We never wanted to leave the hotel — everyone and everything was so nice!

TRULY a 5 star hotel. Beautifully set and staff or super friendly and super polite. The rooms are super clean and spacious with added bonus of Air Conditioners The pool is super clean and over looks the the whole town. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Worth every single penny we paid for it and more. Keep up the excellent work.

This is one of the best properties that I have stayed in. Rooms are clean and luxurious. Staff is very attentive and helpful with all your needs. Location is walking distance to the Ploen Chit Skytrain station but hotel also offers shuttle service to the Chit Lom station every 30 minutes.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and very polite. I loved the breakfast in the Cafe Claire. The breakfast was a real treat and you can eat enough to last you most of the day. The bedroom was gorgeous and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows. It was so nice I almost didn't want to leave the hotel. The pool is a relaxing spot and you can order drinks from the bar. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it will be a great part to my stay in Bangkok.

Rooms: luxurious. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are plush. The kitchen is functional, which is very convenient. Although we didn't cook, we regularly used up the supply of chamomile tea bags. We also got two boxes of complimentary macarons, which was absolutely delightful. Facilities: lovely. The lobby is spacious, and it has a breezy feel. Even the chandeliers don't make the place feel it look to stuffy. There are wide windows overlooking the embassy grounds on either side of the Residence, with its lush greenery and water. The pool deck is truly splendid. Comfortable lounge chairs, cozy pods, nice pool, all in the open air and soaking in the warm sun. Service: exceptional. The staff walked us to our room, showed us everything, and took care of taxis, reservations, and confirmations. They are also very prompt to help if you call the concierge with a problem. The manager, Sukamal Mondal, was extraordinarily generous, even sending a basket of mangos to our room! He also recommended some fantastic restaurants, gave us some "house special" French toast, and procured us sweet Thai pineapples. Café Claire: it's a cute little bistro with lovely black and white decorations. The service is friendly and fast. The walls are decorated with tongue-in-cheek quotes from Julia Child and Mark Twain. Afternoon tea is marvelous; the scones are to die for. Breakfast, however, is nothing to shout about.

Room is very good, food service good. Staffs are friendly. But they are very slow in check in process. Must improve on that.

Best family hotel with luxury style.

Beautiful room with a great view, excellent service. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although check in was a little slow. We had breakfast included which was well cooked and nicely presented. The location is good, with major shopping centres a short taxi ride away. I would stay at the ORB again if I were visiting Bangkok.

I repeat the coming month. Pass the 2013 to 2014 at Suiteapart-luxury hotel. Both liked to us that we are once again in May. We ask the same suite of scheme, but some plants more above. The airport transfer in Jaguar is the icing on the cake. The gym small but completito. The ideal pool. Very good location, opposite a shopping mall small to acquire necessary for custom breakfast, some soups rich to start the day. A hotel with class and very recommendable, modern, clean. Very nice, is my house in Bangkok =).
