Spent a 6day vacation at this lovely hotel Excellent location — easy walk from Phrom Phong BTS across the Queen's park. Excellent facility, clean and well maintained. Check in was easy. Clean, furniture and linen in great condition. Excellent Wi-Fi throughout the building. Great lounge for breakfast, snacks and evening happy hour — recommend reserving a room with M-lounge access (unless you're already a Bonvoy Platinum or higher member). Great rooftop bar and restaurant. Restaurant on the main floor (Goji) also quite good. Easy walk to several restaurants in the area. Great stay for all of us at this Marriott, we would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed here for Xmas for 6 days, after new year we rebook in this hotel for a week again before going back home. In room service is very good food 👏👏👏 good job to the chef and the Thai restaurant at the lobby very good service. FOH staff's and the Food is Amazing. On 22 August. I have a reservation to celebrate my friend's birthday dinner. The whole dinner, service ans ambiance were perfect, it never fails to deliver the best service and food whether it be dinner and so much credit must go to Nong Mink and Nong Chompoo (at goji) are also good service and deserves credit. My friend's birthday was well recognised with a cake — top top servce.
It is so good to go there and receive warm and friendly recognition each and every time. The dishes always delicious and really add to the meal.

I love it! Everything it's absolutely wonderful: rooms, halls, palace, rooftop, swimming pool. The service is very good, with professional and kind staff. I am enthusiastic about my experience here!

Very nice rooms and large beds with a smooth carpet. Clean and modern toilets, but no bathtubs. The aircon was very cooling and was easily adjustable. The location is very convenient as it is just a 5 minute walk from the nearest mall. They also offer a buggy service to the nearest mall at 30 minute intervals. The breakfast served there is exceptionally good and has a ton of cultures to choose from.

Friendly staff. The gym equipment is great! Sauna and steam room were perfect! Good location. Close to shopping malls and good restaurants.

Last month, we stayed for 9 days. Booked on line @marriott, with breakfast. Upon check in, was told no breakfast was included. Show the staff the online reservation, bed and breakfast package, problem solved. On 2nd day, the Marriott internet reservation shows that we have to pay extra 5, 000 bahts/ night for our son. Back to the check in desk, straight that out.
New month, today, we give them another chance with staying 4 nights. At check in, was told to pay extra 1, 600 baht fot our son, eventho, Marriott internet reservation already applied the extra charges. The staff figured out that he was wrong. He then asked us to wait for a clean room. Almost an hour later, we arrived at room 1743, nothing was in mini bar, chocolates smeared and some pieces all over the table. Lower grade room (and still dirty room) than what we expected.
Then, we got moved to 2423, which is not a park view room. We paid extra for 4 nights for a Park view room, so we asked if we will be getting a discount if we take this room? Now they are moving us again. Still waiting, 2+ hours since we arrived at the hotel, we are still not settleded.
And we have been up since 5 am this morning, fly in to Bangkok to take our son to his doctor appointments here.

Rooms are great, shower pressure is a 10/10. * Biggest Breakfast in Bangkok — only negative is the lack of fresh juice (Marriott Sukhumvit 57 offers) *Wonderful Service and people everywhere *Easy access to everywhere, utilize the park entrance behind the hotel *Suite upgrade pro-actively offered for Platinum Premiere status Only negatives * Construction issues in room. Some of the walls in the bathroom had cracks * Hallways kept at very high temperatures Look forward to my next stay!

I loved this hotel! They were so kind and gave me a club lounge access when I was there with a friend which was amazing! Prefer this to other Marriott (JW) in Bangkok. I’d say modern swanky decor. The room wasn’t large but it was well planned and designed. Great lounge area.

It was fantastic. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Our room was very nice. I would rate the shower as the best hotel shower ever! We had access to the M Bar. Couldn't fault the staff there. Breakfast, lunch and a light dinner plus snacks all day provided. The open bar at night was great. The views from the open decks were amazing along with a nice fresh breeze. Would definitely stay again!

Nice room friendly staff very slow check in.

Facilities are new, luxurious. Swimming pool water is cool in the morning in January. Friendly staff who responded to my requests promptly. Nice to be located next to a park for jogging (if you like). Very large and well equipped gym. But after 9pm, after closure of the park, need to walk another noisy street back to hotel for about 13 minutes.

A little time has passed but my original review was miss placed it appears. I have a great stay at this hotel late last October. It is a fine hotel with great staff. It is located in a nice part of town. I do want to bring particular attention to the staff, they were so helpful. In particular I want to note Anna Tran, who went out her way to be helpful and make my overall stay very comfortable. She was always smiling and pleasant in her greetings and showed so much interest to me and other guests at the hotel. I believe she exemplifies what a hotel staff person should behave like, smart, genuinely interested, smiling and always working to be helpful. Thank you Anna for your help. One of the best Hotels worldwide I have seen. (Of ~25) Rooms are nice, clean and functional. Also very silent. (Hopefully not just a concidence) Staff is almost too friendly (I am a grumpy morning person) Breakfast Buffet is great. Absolutely Everything. Dark Bread/Croissants … Asian Breakfast soup … Japanese corner … Bagel station … Salad corner … Ham/Cheese. Indian …

It is a very nice but also very large hotel! But you hardly notice the size! The breakfast is excellent there are many people but the quality is still very good!

Five stars! Right in the heart of Sukhumvit. Couldn't fault the room or the staff. As a frequent Marriott user I was granted access to the Executive Lounge. They offer breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner throughout the day included in the price of the room. Free alcoholic drinks in the evening. Really attentive staff — very friendly and keen to help.

Good service, rooms comfortable and good restaurants. There is a small park behind the hotel which can be reached thru the backdoor. The street in front has plenty of small restaurants. The breakfast and the lunch buffet is excellent.

Everything about the hotel itself is great, as would be expected from a hotel in this price range. However, the location is in one of the seediest streets in Bangkok, lined with "massage" shops and a red light bar area. If you don't mind "masseuses" shouting "massage sir! " every 10 metres or so when you're just trying to walk and mind your own business, then the location is fine. Actually the location is a bit strange — it's very central, but still a bit far away from the sky train, so you'll most likely want to take a taxi/Uber when going somewhere.

We had a wonderful time at the Marriot hotel. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. Our room had a beautiful view at night, was spacious and clean. The spa (massage) was amazing. M Club Lounge staff and concierge staff cannot speak more highly of them. Thank you for this amazing experience, will be back oneday.

OMG such an amazing hotel. It's so great to stay in a lovely hotel like this after a long hot day in Bangkok. Out the back of the hotel there is also a beautiful park to go for a walk in. The hotel staff is amazing and very friendly. I would love to stay here again on my next visit back.

A huge hotel popular with the MICE segment. Quite a large selection of Meeting rooms and a variety of Food and Beverage outlets. The hotel was renovated and is a blend of Contemporary decor which features most of the old legacy which was maintained while renovation.

It IS the first Marquis-branded hotel in SE Asia, I believe. Very posh place. Did not use the accommodations but they cannot be bad. The weekend buffet is worth every single Baht. The Japanese noodle bar is also good! Oh! Free parking (at time of post! )

This newly renovated hotel is both beautiful and luxurious — looks brand spanking new. It has truly earned 5 stars based on its physical attributes, but its most endearing feature is found with the attitude of the amazing employees — Marriott's most valuable asset! Patrick from the front desk and Wit from the concierge stood out as the most helpful, however, the others were also very hospitable and made our vacation most pleasant. Highly recommended!

The rooms are excellent. It is enormous with all basic ammenities. I got a single room with a queen's sized bed and the bed is soft and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful too, when I asked for assistance in purchasing small items like contact lens solution.

During core hours this is clearly a five star hotel. From the moment you depart the taxi to the beautiful entrance spaces which usually have live music, flowers and other things to add to the initial experience. Rooms are typical Marriott with great beds and well maintained. Where it falls down is out of core hours the staff is simply not the same. I actually had ine staffer be rude to me when I dropped off laundry early one morning. Early morning departure saw staff with shirt hanging out looking like he came from a late night of drinking and took some effort to get someone to call a cab. This hotel is also midway between sky train stops one of my favorite ways to commute and you have to run a gauntlet of massage places to get to the main drag. It is interesting this is not the only Marriott in Bangkok that I have run into issues with the early morning staffing. I really like this hotel and it is five star plus in core hours but drops to a low four or even three outside those hours.

Great room, nice view and friendly staff. Just one thing that doesn't suit me is western style of toilet that allows you only use tissue to clean up. It will be a bit awkward for Indonesian that used to have a spray to clean up.

Fantastic hotel. Was upgraded to a suite and the room is great including all the wonderful staff. The breakfast/lunch/dinner buffet and food/services including afternoon tea and dessert at the M lounge is top notch. Alcohol selection at the dinner M lounge can be slightly improved. The lobby is drop dead gorgeous. Only con is that the spa is not finished yet. But should be done in the next month or two Jan 2017 according to the staff. FYI lunch buffet is 700 baht. Dinner buffet is 1200 baht.
