I stayed in this hotel for three days，they gave me very terrible feeling！Gave me first room which the water couldn't get down，changed one room for me after my father get angry without hot water. Phoned reception several times and no one answer. Down to the reception said that’s my problem, are U kidding me? You gave me two rooms and both of them were problem room, then U said that’s my problem. Finally after three hours I’ve got my room without problem and it’s already midnight! It’s my most terribly experience of all my travels!

Outside looks nice，but the facility and maintainance is not good。shower curtain got moads on it.

Damp smell in room. I spray perfume all over the room and curtain.
Cockroaches run on the wall then I hit it. Air conditioner's sound is so loud then staff was resolved quickly (nice). Finally Good atmosphere.

Very basic room, but price also very cheap. Wi-Fi was good, bahrooms clean.

There's dorm and private room. Not really soundproof, where u can hear outside noise if u rented the private room. Location wise ok ok… A short distance to the BTS.

Low-cost style hostel. 140 baht per bed, noisy, not very clean, with unfriendly common area. But close to the BTS, and to some bars (and to the park), and with very nice staff. I won't recommend, but won't either said it is a place to avoid.

Horrible hotel, Dicasting, old and dirty furniture! And the best thing full of cockroaches!

Not exactly a party hostel but great location for such a price. Would definitely stay at this place again.

My husband & I stayed at the Mad Cow Hostel (listed as Funky Cow in our guidebook) in Silom district for 2 nights. We chose this hostel as it was the most budget friendly place in the Silom area, where we had a couple business meetings scheduled. It was fairly easy to find, located just off the main road, making it a little quieter than other places directly on Silom Rd. A small front patio was a nice place to sit and people watch. We arrived at 13:50 and check in isn't until 14:00. We waited the 10 minutes, where we were promptly checked in by the friendly front desk lady, though she needed a bit more information than other hostels (like our departure card & booking number — which may be due to booking through an outside website, no problem). Be sure to arrive during check in times as the staff isn't always right on hand. We were shown to our private, aircon room on the second floor. The bed is on the floor with little space around it, but it worked just fine for two nights. The air conditioning was nice and cold. The room was clean, so no problem being on the floor. The shared bathrooms were just outside the room, and though there were only 2 on our floor, we rarely had to wait for one. There were many other bathrooms on the other floors above if there was a short wait on our floor. The bathrooms were clean, though constantly wet since the showers are in the same space as the toilet & sink. The atmosphere is very budget backpacker.

It's not luxurious at all but I think it's good for the price. Near by a night market. Very friendly owner.

Good place stay for backpackers. Cheap and clean. Online bookings are available.

Good hostel atmosphere, great location are the good thing on the downside the rooms are cramped with just a bed no place to keep luggage, AC doesn't work and similiar hostels in Bangkok offers Kitchenette for Tea/coffee which was not there. Decent place for solo travellers looking to stay central but not if you are looking more than a shoe string.

This hotel is relatively good but i'm abit dissapointed with the policy for their deposit. They charge 3000 baht for deposit which will still make sense but when I requested for additional card they wanted me to pay another 500 baht which to me don't make any sense because I have full payment and paid 3000 baht for room deposit. Kindly look into this policy which is to me is very stupid.
