Got a cool vibe but they were clearly understaffed. Food was quite alright, I really liked the Morning Glory. I'd go here to chill out and work on a few beers. Might be a lot of work for date night.

Okay Thai food, but geared specifically to westerners. A little dirty.

I'm giving this place 3 stars only because of its traditional look. Food was quite pricey yet bland.

Such an awesome place to stay in Bangkok and the best Tapas restaurant ever is literally right next door. So many great food options within walking distance. Would stay here again if I ever get to go back!

Simple and pleasant, the rooms are clean and comfortable, cheap to be in the center of Bangkok and convenient to public transport, recommended.

2ND time here & no complaints what so ever. I will stay here every time I come to Bangkok.

I didn't come here for a pool.
I didn't come here for an elevator.
I didn't come here for cable TV & a big screen LCD. … I came here because the staff is helpful & honest.
Love the atmosphere. Haven't seen a bedbug yet. Haven't heard of any current guests having problems either. So, I assume those who complained of bedbugs in the reviews are bring them in from a previous location.

Beautiful Hippie hostel. Very friendly and sympathic. Rooms are more than enough: clean and quite normal standard. Good and cheap restaurant.

Simple Hostel. Clean rooms. Partially with included bath. Simple breakfast for 50BHT. Cheap room rates. Ideal for back packer.

Loved the place! So authentic and unique! Great location! It is a hostel after all, so the value for price is good. Especially surprised the shower on balcony, but it felt good and fresh :)

Ideal location. 3 minutes walk from Nana sky train. Wifi only by reception. Big room with private toilet. Would recommend if thinking of staying for a few nights in Bangkok.

Cheap and cheerful, clean, basic accommodation. Quirky. Good location.

Change environment in between big buildings. Artistic like a hounted house. No Wi-Fi no lift no TV in room.

Good service, but all in all very unlikely. The rooms had no bathrooms.

Hostel clean and cozy. Very original. Uncomfortable to upload suitcases or bags to the rooms but it makes up for the rest.

Charming and nice hostel very well located near the metro and the skyrail, as well as several night markets and several shopping centers. Room functional, in very case with bathroom integrated. Very picturesque. You can take your food and drink to the reception area, and in addition have a benchmark restaurant. Not suitable for families, because it is not in an area naíf.

Best Hostel I be ever been!

It was ok. Staff is ok but location is very good. Clean place too, but very much I involved in city smells and business. At night it is quiet, so it helps for sleep. I recommend for budget travelers. Good experience overall.

Good Part ::: Budget hotel, antique interior, casual atmosphere, near BTS station and Nana Plaza Bad part ::: Very inhospitable receptionist/hotel staff, No-smoking/ alcohol/food inside room, No guest allowed, Common toilet.

Great little hostel. Quite well run and the little room on the top floor is amazing! Also quite cheap and has great, fast internet.

I really wanted to love this place. But the staff just wouldnt let me. Breakfast was a rationed 2 pieces of toast and some fruit, Everything else was extra. You were not allowed to bring in any food or drink in which was a big pain. I tried to show my friend how cool and rustic the place was and we were stopped in the lobby by the hostel police. What kind of place wont let you have a guest inside? I would understand if it was your typical open style hostel but The place is all private rooms. Maybe just have guests sign in or leave Id? I had a suite with private bath which was below average even for the low rate. If you are looking for a dorm experience with rules and regulations to match this is the place for you. The pluses are the proximity to cool nightspots and the skytrain. Cheap charlies and charley browns half a block away. You can also walk to the airport mall which has an excelent food court.

Bedbugs! I saw one crawling on my pillow and took a tissue to bring it down to the reception. They gave me a different room immediately and sprayed the next morning. The second room had bed bugs, too as I got bitten over night. Not surprising in a building full of wood and plenty of spaces to hide for the bugs. It's a cool building but it's not cool to infest people's stuff and therefore other hostels and places. Do not go there. I asked for a discount and they said flat out no.

A cheap and very well run hotel. Located in the heart of Sukhumvit, it is ideally placed. Breakfast is included with the night. We had the good surprise to have a room with individual toilet and bath while we had booked a room without.

Bedbugs in room 314 26th December, 2015.
We returned to the Suk a decade after we were engaged there, only to find the place is infested with bedbugs. A previous guest in 314 had left a drawing on the wall saying there were bugs. Staff hadn't even bothered to erase it. We checked in too late to get another room, but at any rate if one room has them, it's likely another one does.
The owner claimed she couldn't refund due to Agoda's policy, but that's not true. So I paid 6500 baht for a lovely room elsewhere with balcony so we could quarantine after steaming + spraying + sealing what little we didn't throw away.

Old thai style guest house. Price become expensive in these days.

Suk11 is quintessential bkk — it's like you take bkk, squeeze all of it and put that chunk into a hostel that covers the whole 'soi'. Stay here if you want to absrob all that bkk is — the smell, sound, taste and feel.

I keep coming back here. Lovely, cute, village feeling at a reasonable price. It's clean and basic with personal airconunit. No TV or Wi-Fi in the room, but Wi-Fi in the common areas.
The restaurant is very popular and higher priced than breakfast\lunch, just so you know. (Small breakfast included if you book directly w Suk11)

My girlfriend and I stayed at Suk11 Hostel for 3 nights and it was just wonderful. Extremely cozy, central location, and a really great atmosphere all around. Filled with friendly travelers and friendly staff… we will definitely be back! :)

Be careful when going to Suk11 as I got bed bugs all over my bed during the night. I got moved to another one in the middle of the night and got exactly the same thing (room 315 and 311: the two rooms were already infected), then got moved to another room again on another floor at 4am! WTF
Not to say that I didn’t sleep at all and got bit marks all over my body, but I also didn’t get any refund for my night spent with the company of charming little bugs (and I was staying there 3 nights). Instead, as ‘compensation’ I got breakfast for free which was a big joke. I didn’t get the understanding of the manager, as according to her, action was took immediately (moving into another room), so the whole thing wasn’t a big deal. I just don’t understand how it is possible to think like that, what about customers health? This kind of problem should never happen, especially in a place that became famous with words of mouth. (At least that’s how I got to know it)
It was my second time there, after a first stay at Christmas 2014, and sadly I will definitely not go back, as service really got disappointing since my last stay.

Nice atmosphere, this place has got a cozy feel to it. The room is clean and the staff has been helpful. The location is great, right close to the Nana station.

The staff is very kind and helpful, nothing like a lot people said about them. The room is EXCELLENT. The location is convienent. Moreover, with its security guard walking around all day lone, it is like the safe land in NaNa. Strongly recommended.

Once I am sure it was a fantastic place, but now itnis a bit expensive in comparison to getting a hotel or a short stay studio apartment. The beds are comfortable but try the aircon in the room and bathroom before you agree. Best to stay on 3rd or 4th floor to avoid the noise in the morning.

Convenient location 2 mins. From Nana BTS station. Wifi free but limited time and area. No more breakfast included and it seems staff have not got used to the idea of playing a role in brakfast. Breakfast and lunch menu features small, somewhat expensive, and not that good food. They run a restaurant in the evenings that is pretty good. In sum, you get the location but little else.

It is in a good position, it's cheap and clean, has fascinating old-styled wooden interiors and since there's a no-guest-allowed rule, there are no sex tourists; BUT there's no elevator, it's noisy, smells like naftaline, there are ants everywhere, the water pressure is low and sometimes the tap "spits" and, above all, no internet in the rooms, only in common spaces, and you have to pay it extra. In 2012.

Shower and toilet on the aisle, you can turn off the light.
