Wow and wow again. What at resort this is? Fantastic place in all its aspects. Beautiful rooms, restaurant, outside sitting, swimming pool spectacular. I am so amazed by this place. Kids have their playing ground. There is anything and everything you ever wanted in the a beach resort. If ever in Mwanza Tanzania this is the right place to be. The rate are great value for the money. The airport is very closer and you don't pay for pick up and drop off from the airport free of charge. I am so happy with this place right.

Beautiful Hotel, delicious English breakfast. Perfect views of sunset and beautiful gardens. I especially loved the Spa, it has the most amazing view of the lake.

If this hotel had a 5 star restaurant it would get a 4 star rating. It's such a shame that a hotel with good rooms, good service and fantastic views is let down by a restaurant with terrible service, warm beer and the worst breakfast buffet I've ever experienced. Everything was cold and stale.

Situated along the shores of Lake Victoria, Malaika Beach Resort offers a complimentary airport shuttle and features an outdoor swimming pool, spa and restaurant. Mwanza Airport is 10 minutes’ drive away. And the Malaika Restaurant offers a variety of delicacies including Tanzanian and Indian cuisine. The Deli serves breakfast daily and light gourmet lunches are available. A selection of drinks can be enjoyed at the bar.

Great hotel. The rooms were spectacular and the infinity pool was great. This is a great place to organize a trip to the Serengeti.

This is the best hotel in Mwanza town with it's best construction on rocks near lake Victoria.

The place is good but the food and the service is not. They take hours yo get the order then they take hours to fulfill them.

This is a modern, high quality hotel, but it feels like it has no soul. Some of the staff are excellent, but some don't seem too bothered about the job they do. When you work in reception it is important for the reputation of the hotel that you try to be as helpful as possible. One receptionist in particular appeared not to care too much about her role. The food is of a good standard, if not exceptional. The room we stayed in was of a large size, with a large corner bath and large walk in shower. The bed was large and comfortable. Access to the room was up a long flight of steps, but had decent views over Lake Victoria. However, the building that houses the various dining rooms and bars is situated between the hotel rooms and the Lake, therefore obscuring the view, at least partially. While our stay was comfortable, I wouldn't recommend this hotel above others in the area, and I would not return there.

Great place on lake victoria with an infinity pool. Lovely environment and ground up keep. Service was on point! We'll be back here again, especially for food.

To me I rank this hotel as number one in Mwanza, it is built on the lake with the view which will make you there stay longer, they have a big garden, a very nice restaurant, a very nice place for weddings and also a very good choice of food, you would not regret visiting this place with how fantastic it is.

One of the best places in mwanza to chill by the beach. They have a restaurant that serves good good food and drinks. They do however charge and entrants fee at the gate if you are just going there for the view.

Just a reflection of our stay at the hotel over xmas just gives our family joy and a warm memory. This is one visit that we will remember as everything was perfect and the week spent there just sped by. The airport pick up and drop off was on time and well coordinated. We were well received at the hotel with cool sweets and chocolates and a souvenir bracelet placed on our wrists and taken to our rooms quickly and l appreciated the quick check in process especially being with our elderly parents. The food, breakfast, dinner was made to perfection and the baby meals came in quite well prepared and am sure l will be back for the "drums of heaven" and the fresh fish… The grounds were beautiful, balcony well set up to enjoy the beautiful garden, lake and pool views. The fish ponds and walkways made a beautiful walk to the rooms and relaxing in and by the infinity pool just made a luxurious and beautiful experience. My parents enjoyed sitting at the rocks in the well maintained gardens and just enjoying the view. Was good to also enjoy the breeze on a hot day by sitting by the lake as well as splashing in waters or walking in the sand at the shore. "Beach area" In all this is one Xmas we will always remember as a family and just look forward to our next time there.

We were coming here for an event and we were charged an entry fee to get through the gate. When we got inside we were told that we did not need to pay an entry fee, but instead had to pay a 10, 000 Tsh fee for entry to the event. We went back to the gate to get our money back and they told us we had to pay the rest of the fee there. We gave them the rest of the money, expecting to get in. When we went back down to get inside, they told us we needed to pay the fee there and weren't supposed to pay at the gate. Again, we walked to the gate to get our money back. The woman at the gate claimed she gave us our money back, when in fact she just charged us more and refused to give us a refund. At this point we just left and went somewhere else.

A well and good place for meeting with people in any activities social and public service are done.

Great views but the hosts in the hotel are rude and chase you to pay entrance to the area around the hotel. We felt pestered. Bad fake cheese cake but very friendly waiter.

It is wonderful place. Don't hesitate to try it.! I couldn't give it five star because it doesn't have yet a gym.

The view of lake Victoria is superb, coupled with a serene environment and the boat rides makes you want to come again.
