Highview Hotel

This hotel is fabulous! Myself and my husband stayed here as part of a safari for 2 nights and we love it here. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, and the views from the rooms are stunning. The hotel staff set up seating and drinks for sunset which is so lovely. They do a free tour of their onsite coffee plantation which was brilliant. We had Dan lead our tour and he was so much fun, and so informative. For a free tour, we didn’t expect much but Dan went above and beyond.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, and they offer free hot drinks and snacks in receptions throughout the day. They have their own garden growing lots of fruit and vegetable that are served in the restaurant.
We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff arranged for our bed to be beautifully decorated. Such a lovely touch.

While our visit was short to this hotel, the time we spent there was absolutely fantastic. They had a great breakfast in the morning and the staff was wonderful. I was told the views are fantastic although it was cloudy the day we were there. I would highly recommend if you were in the area.

The accomodation was clean, food was good and setting was maintained beautifully. Our first room was a bit tight and small with 3 beds, the lighting could be better and the shower temperature could be better regulated. We loved that most of the food was grown on the grounds of the hotel. The food was generally tasty, there was not a huge selection, but we always found something that tasted good.

The High view Lodge is a great place to relax after you have completed your safaris and are looking for rest and shelter. The highlights for me were the staff, the food and the location which couldn't have been any better.
The lodge has the friendliest staff who are always smiling and always ready to ask what you need or how they can make your day better. The food although limited selection, is tasty and flavourful with something for everyone. It's buffet style for breakfast and dinner.
The lodge is surrounded by a beautiful location — the lush green as well as the coffee plantation that you can go for a tour to see.
The rooms are decent — I would prefer a space to put down your bags, lighting isn't great and Wi-Fi is average — however it's stretching a far distance.
The people here are what makes this place stand out. All of them were friendly, kind and showed genuine care for you. After your safaris they greet you with a cold towel and a hibiscus drink which was lovely.

A beautiful location for a lovely quiet hotel. The rooms are what to expect from a 3star hotel, small but comfortable.
The views are beautiful, and the staff are amazing, very friendly and happy. Me and my family loved coming back here after a long day in the jeep, a hour relaxing by the pool then watching the sun go down. There is also an orphanage down the road which I would highly recommend visiting and donating to. We asked our driver to arrange a visit.

Really beautiful hotel with the best staff I really loved it here. Can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderful location on way to Crater and Serengeti. Fabulous food, great staff, wonderful grounds.

We were here in 2 x 2 nights in connection with safaris very friendly and helpful people. Breakfast fine but dinner not so inspiring.
Wi-Fi only in the main building. Noting in the rooms. The hot water pressure is low that you are lucky to get a decent hot shower. Much better at ground floor. Very small bathroom and room. Bed is large but bed linen is hardly for 2 person unless they are very close connected no aircondition but it was ok.

Highview Hotel is hands down one of my favorite places to stay with Zara! The views are unbeatable, the service is fantastic, and it's so close to the safari action. After a long day out exploring, there’s nothing better than heading back to Highview to unwind.
Lemaya's Spa is a must, get a relaxing massage, chill by the pool, and just soak it all in. Plus, the evening vibes are awesome with entertainment, a cozy fire, and good food to wrap up the day. It’s the perfect recipe for relaxation and a great place to feel right at home!

Highview as the name itself appear! nice hotel place outside karatu town the last town before Ngorongoro crater.

Room:
-small and cramped for space.
-bed mattress was comfortable and long enough for my height.
-quick hot water.
-there were some cockroaches.
Pool was refreshing! Probably cold for most folks.
Food and coffee was pretty good.

Great hospitality and beautiful scenery.
