Best place for a outing. The beach is pretty safe for you to swim. The restuarant also has a buffet most of the days and a wonderful bar as well. If you want you kids to enjoy the water rides there is a water park attached which you can pay for and use.

They are lovely and classic!

We found this hotel online, and have to say we were a little disappointed. We didn’t fully appreciate the trek from the airport either. On arrival, you are met with a very grand entrance. This is very Arabic in design, and gave us the thoughts that we have made the right choice. We were very happy with the arrival and reception. We were given complimentary coconut drinks, which was much needed after the drive from the airport. It was at this point that we were shown to our rooms. This is where it fell down for me, as the rooms were old and dated. Not what was expected after the entrance. Woodwork worn and in need of re-varnishing. The sealant around the bath, shower and sink was discoloured and in need of being done in this century. Floor and shower tiles were broken or cracked. I went to use the shower and was met with a piddle of cold water, no end of fiddling with the taps could change the water temp. This was brought to the front desks attention, and a workman was tasked almost straight away. I had a cold shower that first night, and was looking forward to a hot shower in the morning. What I got was a tepid shower. Evening meal the first night and breakfast the following morning was very nice. Welcomed by a smiling server, and shown to a table. Plenary of choice for both meals covering all things meat and vegetarian. Handy as my colleague is a vegetarian. Plenty of selection for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, again with great bar staff.

Location is great. Beach unfortunately suffers a bit from plastic pollution, but the staff do try and keep on top of this clearing it up. Rooms are comfortable. All beds have mosquito nets which are essential. Food is good and reasonably priced. We tried both buffet and the menu.

Though the hotel and its management cannot be held responsible / accountable for any incident that happens outside our resort premises, we still have acknowledged your complain and acted very professionally and with humanity to assist you in all possible ways including assigning our officers to escort you to the venue the incident happened and to meet with the village chairman. Mr. Catalan when you reported the complaint to the team at the resort and you mentioned that the hotel is not accountable for, as it was your decision to go beyond the resort premises despite of our officers at the beach stopped you. Mr. Catalan, Kunduchi Beach Hotel and Resort is a charming and safe resort for our guests within our premises and we have assigned security guards and gunman on the beach stretch and at the two ends of the resort along with a huge caution sign.

I was robbed with aggression while walking on the beach 500m north of the hotel. I rate 1 star because the response of the hotel to this event was unacceptable. Administration of this hotel lacks ethics and choose money over empathizing with people. Also they choose to bubble up instead of taking action and interacting with the community about very wrong things happening on the beach. I was robbed with aggression included by three guys armed with machete 500 meters north of the hotel. When I came back the response of the hotel administration was a gem. They didn't react unless you insist, then instead of supporting you after the "trauma" they proceeded to blame me about the robbery because I trespassed the big sign that is there noting that after that point there is no hotel security and you go on your own risk. Apparently there is a gang that robs tourists that go that way and have been doing this for some time. Two weeks before another tourist also got assaulted. There is no sign clarifying the risk and no security guard cared enough to run and let you know about this. I didn't take the sign seriously after walking south and seeing that it is interesting since its full of local fisherman and a fish market (some guests might consider this a risk, but it's not). They refused to call the police, probably to avoid scaring other guests in the hotel.

This is an amazing place for holiday, there is white sand beach with clean shore where you can even manage to swim apart from the amazing swimming pool next to the beach. Amazing sun set with amazing horizons.

Nice place for a getaway very affordable and lots of varieties for a middle income class it is highly recommended. There is a water park, gym and beach sports. Only that they don't have cable connection.

It's a nice place located several metre from Mbuyuni bus stop along Bagamoyo Road. The area is decorated with such beautiful swimming pool and slimming structures. It has also a very good hot food mainly for weekends and a varieties of bites for weekly days. To spend a night in hotel is not less than $160 where you will be provided with breakfast and free access to swimming pool.

Wonderful hotel. Very nice supportive staff. Food quality and variety is excellent.

Good private beachside location. Nice reception area. Arabic style. Good rooms aircon and balcony. Beach bar and inside restaurant. Food good.

Superb place. Clean beach nice food. during the low tide you can walk almost a Kilo meter toward the sea through clean white sands. Hotel has a beautiful swimming pool and so many huts " mkuti" to stay for the day. Lots of rooms for a night stay, and near to the water park. Buffet Food is nice and worth. outside they have Go-Kart facility.

The hotel got killer view, the kinda place you wanna go when you want to ne alone and reminisce about stuff. Apart from the view and a wonderful breeze, the only thing I liked when I was there was the receptionist kindness and charm.

The staff were very helpful. Restaurant and bar very well. Beach pretty dirty, but they clean their part.

Nice place for family to relax. 1 star less as they have 1 or 2 waiters attending your orders all over beach and pool area.

Nice location, but the place needs a facelift desperately. Friendly staff but the food quality is pathetic infact not worth eating. The rooms need to be upgraded. In short not recommending this place to anybody.

The place is exotic. I went for arranges birthday party — and the staff were amazing making it personalized and memorable. Aloyce, to be precise was super good.

Beautiful view, awesome services and amazing weather. It's a good place to chill and enjoy when you visit Dar es salaam.

Best place for family recreational. All kids game are available plus food and drink you need. Everything goes by order and it's very expensive.

Very nice and quiet place to relax and spend some time. Many activities for the whole family or just to spend the honeymoon or having a business dinner or meeting. Enjoying this place for many years now.

Beyond description, when words fail to reflect the beauty of the place. Though remote from the town centre but it makes you close to yourself. Design of the entire hotel is natural and friendly, especially rooms and dining space. However sauna and similar facilities are not up to the overall place.

One star for the beautiful architecture, and the water park next to it. Hotel-Poor poor poor reception. The lady we found at the desk needs service industry training. I hope this hotel improves on that.

This is the one of my favorite place I come for dinner/breakfast. I also come to enjoy sea breeze at night.

The hotel is perfectly located. All rooms have ocean views. The restaurant has a great view too. Great place for kids. At night, a music band plays popular songs. The water park next door is fun, but a bit overcrowded. The main negative points were the slow Wi-Fi, and the food.

This hotel is a marvelous Paradise one must always visit. It has cleanest linen, compared to none in town, excellent hospitality and best buffets ever. To me Kunduchi was a home and will remain to be the best home forever.

A place to disconnect. Attentive service and very friendly, they will help you in whatever you need. Comfortable and comfortable clean rooms.

That place is very very smart for looking there's a many something good I like to use there me and my family I like to enjoy their I like too to take my lovely Mom at kunduchi Beach resort.

Luxurious place with lovel condition and nice. Delicious foods at affordable price with very nice and humble waiters. Nice place to go with family.

The stay was pleasant. Right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean and coast. A few more outdoor activities; kayaking and wind surfing. Right across the bay from a small, uninhabited island. Right next door to a small water park. The staff were excellent. Very secure and safe. The facilities could use an update and there were a few technical glitches with TV and AC but all in all a very good facility for the area.

Good place to have a lunch buffet, usually dirty beach, but clean swimming pool and a possibility to rent a boat to nearest island Mbudya. Very spacious resort with at least 3 places for all kinds of Venues.

Was there for day use, good pool and tasty pizzas. Best place to start mbudya island.

Nice hotel, good food, comfortable beds, proximity to the beach is a 5min walk, there is fast Wi-Fi, nice scenery of the sun set and courteous and friendly staff but abit slow service during check in and check out.

Experienced a very pushy lobby guy charging 20.000 pr. Person to use the pool for the day just before 6 pm. No one telling it was about to close. After letting the hotel staff know the problem, they said the amount would be returned, but this never happened. We spend over 40 min. Waiting for them. Overall it seems like the neighbouring places have much better service and utilities anyways.

Beautiful hotel. Water sports activities available. The only issue I have with it is that the sea water isn't too clean. But its the same story throughout Dar.

A luxury getaway not too far from a big city. Traffic to this place from Dar is a nightmare. You will love their scenic layout, and well taken care of grounds. Beach could do with a clean up from all the plastic thats buried there. The food is great, and the service could be improved.

Quiet place, nice swimming pool but no alcohol.

This hotel is old but quite charming. Its architectural design is clearly Oriental-Arab influenced and could fit right at home in a Zanzibari setting. The hotel still has its original, and now old, furnishings, making it less attractive than some of its glitzier contemporaries but one expects it to return to its former glory once the planned renovation is complete. I would recommend a room on the upper floor overlooking the Indian Ocean as the balconies provide a perfect setting to enjoy the beautiful African sunrise. A marvel if you can be up by 6 am. Other positives about the hotel include the restaurant terrace with its drapes and large french windows glass facade, which gives a well lit breakfast experience in the morning. The swimming pool is alright and there's vast beach for a good old jog or walk. The food is average and the fridges in the rooms aren't stocked with a mini-bar. There isn't much on offer in terms of entertainment besides the complimentary access to the Wet and Wild Water park next door and the occasional band night at the bar.

Especially in the past that day, good luck, meet with somebody else's wedding. Best wishes to them.

An enjoyable pastime place for family. I recommend you to go there on weekdays.

We always try different beach hotels once in a while and regret going there. We always end up coming back to Kunduchi. Well built, great food, cozy rooms, clean beach, kite school. I'm at peace.

Older water park. Some of the slides are a bit fast so be careful with small children.

Kunduchi the hotel — beach, with good infrastructure. Rooms — trasecca. I got here by mistake. Sea is clean, but only because the sea, here should not go. I'm on bed & Breakfast: water only 0.5 L. The Rest for the money. Beer 6$, poltorashku water — 6$. You are very lucky if you get here by taxi from the airport for$ 50, although only 15-20 km away. In General I do not advise.

This place sucks they charge you to use there beach even tho you are staying in the hotel. Management has no customer service very rude and prejudice you have to be Indian to stay here. Mmh we need them out. Will find the way.

At least it's a nice place in Africa. But compared to the Chimelong Water Park in Guangzhou, South China, Kunduchi Water Park is really so boring, with not too many fancy activities.

I have been there for three days in short it very funny I have been enjoyed the fresh air in ocean and I hope I wil do it again.

Its nice relaxing n funn jus at little food variety should be there.

Scary rides and nice people. U wud rather practice goinng on the KIDDIE water slides before goin to the larger and faster ones. Wonderful food and pop culture.
