The service is good and dinner/ breakfast is yummy. Hotel facilities are multiple for each person who requires to use them. It’s great hotel to stay at, highly recommended for vacation for the whole family.

My kid loves the kids club and the restaurant’s staff are very helpful and caring. We enjoy our stay!

I stayed at Hotel Royal with my boyfriend for one night in the Japanese suite. The suite was huge with a ton of amenities, including free drinks and snacks. The room also has a hot spring bath for your personal use. The best part of the hotel, however, is the open air spa. Everything was perfect. Had a nice and quiet stay. Japanese-style service and hospitality. Attention to details. Love their friendly and warm staff. Open space, good view through the window. Delicate and zen space in room. The entrance and everything were wheelchair-accessible, but the bed was not (on the ground level). This place is honestly such an amazing hotel! First of all, their beds and tatami mats are to die for as they’re extremely comfortable. I’m also very impressed at how they provide “pyjamas” or clothes and slippers for you to wear around the hotel. It makes it more comfortable and convenient. What I also enjoyed about this hotel was their onsen or their spa! It’s an enclosed area where you go and relax (nude) and it has an outdoor and indoor area. They also provide the little necessities like toothpaste and toner and many more. It’s truly an experience and if being nude around other people isn’t for you, the option of an outdoor pool is available as well. There’s also an outdoor heated pool and lounge for those who aren’t keen on swimming. There’s really something for everyone! Not to mention, their food is amazing. I’ve been to both their buffet and lunch restaurant. The buffet is amazing with lots of food options that will leave you full and satisfied. The lunch option has to be pre booked and it’s sort of like a set meal with different options to choose from. All in all the experience was amazing, the food, the service and the atmosphere was delightful! I’d highly recommend it for people who want a truly unique experience.

This hotel lists for ~12000/night 400USD). Problem 1) there is a strong smell of mold and age throughout the first floor. If you are looking for a place to relax without any sort of depth to its activities or guest demographics, this is a great place for you. I enjoyed my time well enough, though the fact the guests are only provides with a Japanese experience was a little uncomfortable (not even a bath robe, just a yukata and recycled slippers). I understand this is their selling point and people might specifically be looking for these things, but I just can't help feel a touch of pretentiousness in the place that kept me from loving this stay.

Great service, the room is beautiful, great show, great programs. The room came with hot spring access, recreations (mini gym, ping pong, billiard, chess etc. ) And dinner buffet+breakfast. We did all that plus free yoga class and watched traditional puppetry show. Definitely a go for foreigners, and not a bad get away for the us native Taiwanese :) ) they had a lot more programs with a slight additional charge.
