It's a lovely hostel with a very kind staff. Very well equipped and the bookshop decor is amazing.
The star however is the bed, I can't begin to explain how comfortable it was.

Like all other reviews, this place definitely worth more than a 5*!
Convenient place, great local food, easy to explore the city in walkable distance!

The landlady is kind and friendly. The location is very good. The nearby view is really great. When I wake up and see the beautiful scenery, I feel better😍.

It’s a pity that I could just stay there 1 night. Tainan was quite hot and not my favorite style of city. The hostel was superb. As quiet as its name. Clean, great decor and cheap.

Absolutely amazing stay at Mydeer Hostel in Tainan! I can't recommend this place enough! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the kindness and hospitality of the owner.

Snail alley is full of pleasant surprises. MazeHut is definitely 1 of it.
The ancient structure is well preserved, owner obviously knows his stuff.

The location is very central, and the owner is helpful and friendly. They have comfortable rooms and a cozy atmosphere.

We don’t often stay in hostels but the family room at Light Hostel was so perfect for our needs! The hostel is bright and clean and so well located for exploring Tainan. 100% recommend!

Great hostel. Nice lounge area great for meeting others. Staff are friendly. Free coffee. Rooms are a bit tight. But for the price I think very worth it. Amazing location.

Nice, comfortable and cosy hostel. This place is conveniently located in a new chic West market area, accessible by local buses with full of nice local eateries all around typical of Tainan.

Really great dorms in Tainan! It's less hard to find than you think, just look for the location on Google maps and find the colored stairs. The kitchen is awesome and useful. Nice rooftop to chill.

The staff is really nice and helpful, they gave me good recommandations for Tainan and my next trips as well, I cancelled my last nights because I changed my plans and they gave me a refund.

Best tatami hostel ever! The rooms are of the typical tatami size, so just bed-size, basically. But the house has a vibrant atmosphere in true traditional Japanese style. We loved it!
