We only had one day to enjoy Taichung and wanted to experience some Taiwanese food and learn about and see some of the city. We decided on a half-day, private, tour and it was a great decisions. Our booking was quickly confirmed and we were placed in contact with our tour guide Tony who immediately contacted us and made himself available for ANY questions we had about the tour, or Taiwan in general. He helped us with train schedules and finding the meeting place (which was very simple). On the day we had what I can only describe as an excellent time wandering through the old part of town near the train station. We visited the quite large market (I know. You think you’ve seen an Asian market before, but this one is a little different and worth a visit), ate a LARGE variety of local food, and learned a lot about Taiwan and Taichung. Tony made they day Diane and enjoyable.
I highly recommend TC TimeWalk in general and Tony specifically!
