The guesthouse has been renovated beautifully in the Japanese style of the architecture. Situated in a lovely area with nice cafes and close to other amenities. A really special and comfortable stay, highly recommend if staying in pingtung!
We stayed here for 2 nights as a group of 5. The house was extremely comfortable and very well decorated! We had a warm welcome on arrival by the staff and they were happy to answer all of our questions. There was a good selection of breakfast foods and this was delivered promptly in the morning. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you need to stay in pingtung!

What an experience to reside in a traditional Japanese wooden style house (Minka) in Pingtung Taiwan. Most of the Japanese elements were there — tatami mat flooring, sliding doors, wooden structure and sleeping on traditional futons laid out on tatami mats.
The location is very convenient, basically it is in the heart of the Victorystar tourist attraction area, also close to the railway station as well. Well managed and the rooms were in a clean condition.
Some minor inconveniences were that the toilet and shower facilities were outside a smaller unit located on the same property, similar to a granny flat, so it causes some challenge if you are traveling with seniors. Also, since this place faces a main road, you will receive a fair amount of noise, earplugs are highly recommended for shallow sleepers.
