The hosts were extremely attentive and friendly. We got picked up from the train station when we arrived, rooms were extremely clean and comfortable.
Locally wine and cocktail tastings were held every night. With some good chars of course ;)
They kindly offered us bicycles to cycle around town at our own leisure and dropped us off at a restaurant in the next township for dinner.
The location of the property was fantastic, only a short distance away from the local train station to taroko.
Would definitely be coming back! Amazing experience!
From my arrival in the Taroko to my departure I couldn't have been more welcomed.
They were very nice to pick me up from the train station, and as soon as they found out I had an issue renting a scooter the husband immediately contacted the shop to try and help me out. The entire family's thoughtfulness and welcoming spirit persisted throughout my stay, from the help navigating the bus schedules to the breakfast to go that they packed me. They invited me to an evening wine tasting, and I'm still kicking myself for falling asleep early after a day of hiking. They were even kind enough to drop me off back at the station.
My room, and their home, is beautiful and very nicely furnished. Every aspect of my visit was more than I could have asked for. I will never forget their welcoming spirit, generosity, and genuine desire to make my visit to Taroko as good as possible. If I ever have the chance to return to Taroko *here* is where I hope to stay.
