Hotel Eden Spiez is one of the best and most unique hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
As soon as you enter this beautiful old-fashioned hotel you feel very welcome by the staff. Spring, Celina and Sandra in the reception were so friendly and helpful, always with a big smile and big heart.
Dear Reto was so kind and professional and showed me around their beautiful hotel and the fantastic surroundings that the hotel has. The hotel has an old history with a very elegant interior, the rooms are well decorated and they are super clean with some amazing views over Thunersee and the spa is very modern and cozy with possibilities to have some lovely relaxation. Mr. Reto also showed me the beautiful garden of the hotel and even picked fresh berries for me, so sweet! And the hotel also has an wine cellar that Reto also showed me. I was lucky to try some delicious white wine from Spiez and felt super welcome from start until the end. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic! If you come to Switzerland, you must stay at this fantastic hotel.

Good restaurant, beautiful view of either the lake that village. Room spacious and with all comfort. Well-appointed SPA. Staff very friendly and available. Almost everyone speaks French.

We stayed in Spiez for the "Seaside Festival", on the one hand the location of the hotel is of course ideal! Nevertheless, I would not have expected to be so pampered, starting with a tea to the reception, very fine, to the welcome drink at the bar until breakfast the next morning was all top! We couldn't try the kitchen because of the festival, but we'll definitely catch up. The care on the check-out day was also great! The fact that you can still use the wellness area was a dream for us, after the festival in the rain this was a fantastic display! For us, the Eden Spiez was the best hotel in a long time, everything was right for us, if we were to be in the area again, we will certainly be happy to come back! Thank you for everything!

Very good experience, every afternoon there are free cake, the room has Nestle capsule coffee, facing the lake view of the room is very good. Although the price is a bit expensive, but the landscape and service is impeccable.

One of the most beautiful hotels on Lake Thun with extremely friendly and professional staff.

I don’t think I would ever stay here again due to the strange noise at night. A loud vibration noise comes every 3 minutes and lasts for 90 seconds each time. It won’t stop. I had to stay awake the whole night to count the frequency. The food here was just ok… flies everywhere during breakfast. 2 stars for the food. Pool and sauna are new and I would rate it 4 stars for the wellness centre. But be careful, some fancy programmed windows will make noise around the pool area… The view from our room was nice: 5 stars. Overall experience is 1 star as it failed to serve the purpose: sleep and rest!

We really have a pleasant and unforgettable stay at Eden hotel. The best part is dipping in the whirpool after long walk in switzerland. The breakfast was great, you can enjoy it while looking at beautiful scenery of Spiez. The services was also perfect. The staffs are very friendly and thoughtful. They know it was our honeymoon and give a little decoration in our room. They even give us a ride to the station. Overall our stay was perfect. We will definetely recommend this hotel to our friends & family. Keep up the good work! Love, Yose & Jilly.

Great welcome from super-friendly staff. A sensational new wellness area with even a small Solbad; Coffee, tea, snacks, cold drinks, everything included. The view of Spiezer Bay and the mountains is almost too much of a good thing.
Although we live not far away (an hour away), we hope to be invited even more often in Spiez and thus be forced to stay in the Eden;-)

This hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed. Superior room with lake view is such a beautiful room with separate shower room and toilet. Bath tub and washbowl are next to the bed, but even if I take a bath, the humidity does not stay in the room. There are water bottle, Nespresso, slippers and bathrobes in the room. The view from two big windows are fantastic! I could see Spiez town, Lake Thun, harbor, Spiez Castle and mountains. Staffs were super friendly, except the sommelier at the bar. When we check out, they gave us bottles of water and homemade jam for souvenirs. This hotel I want to stay again and recommend to everyone.

Very friendly welcome, it was a nice short stay with excellent service. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The spa — area is exceptionally beautiful and a lot of offers. I've never experienced a brine bath in a hotel. We can only recommend the hotel. Thank you for the lovely time with you.

Wow! What smashingly beautiful hotel. Great options for events and parties. Weddings are a dream here. The management is fabulous and the food is great. Rooms are nice, big and very clean! Just fabulous!

We stayed 2 nights, it was gorgeous. Room super equipped with El. Adjustable bed, Naspresso machine in the room. Room was very clean, we even had a nice Osternestli to get to the room. Wellness area also very nice and clean.
Food at its finest — gourmet cuisine, easy for Glutenunverträgliche.
Breakfast with choice for gluten-free cereals, bars etc. Top!
Service very friendly and cordial.
Smoker lounge with cigar selection, super.
We will visit it again and can only recommend it.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very classy and warm. We were accompanied by foreign visitors and we highly appreciated Mrs. Pfeiffer who went out of her way to make our dinner extra special! 2 thumbs up on great service and attention to detail!

Definately would not stay here again. We were locked out of our room for two hours on Saturday night. The reception was not open. The manager was on holiday. Our keys would not work therefore we could not get in. Eventually off duty staff arrived and gave us a key from reception. Next day we had a leak in our bedroom from ceiling! Eventually gave us another room but the beds were too close to the bathroom which did not have a door and the lights were outside therefore reflecting on my eyes! The staff are sooo rude! unhelpful! There are no bed linens! No teas or coffees or kettle in the room Definately a 2 star hotel! Would not recommend this hotel!

Very beautiful hotel with a magnificent view of the Bernese Oberland and lake Thun. Friendly welcome, beautiful room with balconies. Good bedding, Spa, and swimming pool. Breakfast well stocked and restaurant super class with a wine list with many choices.

The constructive critisism first. The toilet in our room is unfortunately not so "soundproof" as you would for two like it :-)
Otherwise, everything from scratch right here up and down. To be the first hotel visit where we felt seriously 100% and we felt like a welcome guest.
Clean, perfect food, exemplary service and the stay was worth every penny.
I can only recommend this hotel!

Great hotel with fabulous rooms. As with all of Switzerland not cheap. The only bad thing was the fact they don't have any AC in the hotel. Even in a cool night in summer you need to keep the windows closed because of church bells ringing during the night (a bit crazy for a tourist town in my opinion), and it gets a bit hot. During a heat spell it might be worse. Another small downside of Spiez was the small number of upscale restaurants. Thun and Interlake are 10 and 15 minutes away but it would have been nice to have a better variety in the hotel closer vicinity. Having said that I think Spiez is a better base than Interlaken because of the number of tourist that flock to Interlake. We did have a car keep in mind… The stuff is top notch and so is the overall service.

Our stay at your hotel was excellent, both for the reception and for the various services. For its excellent quality we offer it for a pleasant and relaxing holiday.

Me and my sister loved the stay at Eden. We had a very warm welcome and pick up was arranged by the hotel from train station. I met with a small accident while riding bike in the town and hotel staff helped me and took me to the hospital. They also arranged the pick up from hospital to hotel in the evening. The spa and pool area was very clean and quiet. I think this hotel was perfect for a weekend getaway. I would love to come back for a special occasion. Needless to say, the hotel is located is such a way that you get a very nice view of the town, lake and mountains.

Team at the reception and restaurant very kind and helpful. We ate in the evening at the restaurant, and the food was very good, even if we expected a little bit more taste in everything. Sadly, I had to order the wine twice (they forgot which one I ordered), and the dessert I choosed was not available anymore. The room was fine. But if you need privacy in the restroom, don't choose the ones with "open bathroom", as it could be confusing hearing the noises coming from there… Wellness was pleasent, cleen and friendly. My wife hade an hot oil massage and she was very happy with it. The swimming pool is a nice place, and must be nicer in sommer! Alltogether a nice stay. Would recommand.

What a gem of a Hotel. We discovered it quite by chance and decided to spend a long weekend for my husbands birthday. Two nights and three days. We arrived in Spiez by public transport and could see Hotel Eden from the station. An easy stroll through the little town, stopping at the market on the way — and we found ourselves in the beautiful gardens. A very warm welcome from the staff as well as a lovely welcome drink awaited us. We were able to leave our luggage at reception as it was too early to book in, and explore the village and lake side. On our return we were shown around by a lovely lady and everything was explained and we were escorted to our third floor room which was spacious and very clean. As was the Spa area. We enjoyed the twin bubble baths and pool all on our own — no crowds to contend with. The breakfasts were absolutely divine as well as the dinner which was included in our stay. One last item I must mention is the bedding — it was heaven flopping into bed after a swim in the pool in the evening — soft and silky duvet covers with fluffy duvets! I have nothing but praise for the Hotel Eden and the members of staff who all went out of their way to make our stay special. Note the village church bell rings every 15 minutes… and that is the extent of my criticism.

I felt at home. The staff is very friendly, helpful and the spectacular meal! I hope to return to enjoy a fantastic stay at this hotel, which is in a wonderful location.
