Gasthof zum Ritter Stübli is a wonderful place to stay. Martial and Katrin are lovely host who make you feel you are not just guest but friends in their home. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is delicious. You are walking distance from the gondola that takes you to the ski piste or down to Meiringen. There are many beautiful hikes also that you take right from the gasthof. The town is quaint and beautiful with great access to anything you may want to do in Switzerland. I highly recommend a stay with Martial and Katrin at their Gasthof zum Ritter Stubli.

French chef and German hostess entertain the guests back here in the valley. We have only eaten here and the review: pumpkin soup "is ok", salad "good to very good" and "Rösti Hawaii" as well as "hash Browns Chef" (warm goat cheese and Brienz honey) were "the Hammer".
