Superb hotel at the cablecar station Bort in Grindelwald. Very nice rooms and super friendly staff.

The best memory of Switzerland during the 8 days was Berghaus Bort restaurant so beautiful view breathtaking to see the mountains. it was very rainy day so we had eat indoor but still enjoying the view and the restaurant was very neat and service was excellent. The food we ordered was ROSTI it was served very hot and delicious!

Treat yourself to a room at the front. You'll be amazed by the mountain views. When the gondola has stopped running, it's a magical place. Extremely friendly staff and very good kitchen as well.

A lovely place to stay or have meal on top of mountain. It's got beautiful view and staff is very friendly. I would love to stay there again.

I just wanted to give 0 Star for this Restaurant. Worst hospitality u can ever imagine. I HAVE NEVER RATED A PLACE SO BAD, but they made me write this. Staff was rude. We orderd food and had our brunch at 12'o clock because their Kitchen opens at 11:30, ridiculous. There were so many flies inside and the staff didn't do anything regarding that. Then it started raining, so we decided to wait for rain to stop. The staff came 3 times outside to tell us, that we cannot wait here as it is not a picnic spot, and even threatened that boss will not like that we were sitting outside. Ive never experienced such a bad Hospitality from an overpriced and over rated Resturant. Then ww had to leave in heavy rains. My advice, skip this Resturant and travel more upwards. At First there are many better Resturants.

Fabulous location right at Bort lift on the First run. Can drive to in summer. No room balconies but large restaurant deck makes up for it. And the view!

We came down the mountain cart from first and had to stop here. Great views of the pastures and glacier from this location. Stop here for some food / beer with in my opinion has the best views of the area in general. Clicked quite a number of pics here before we headed down to Grindelwald with our trotti bikes.

Great place for a stop on the way back to Grindelwald either after hiking or ski. During summer the restaurant offers a great view and the playground is really nice for kids.

We enjoyed a relaxing lunch on the patio overlooking the mountains; picture perfect, child-friendly, and shade on a hot day.

Nice place with an amazing view of the mountain. The place feels cozy and only minus point was that reaching the place with luggage was difficult. Also that the last gondola goes at 5pm which means you're stuck up there for the rest of the day.

The location is second to none, and the dining is excellent. Although quite pricey (I spent ~$800/night), the rooms all have views of the Eiger and the rest of the Swiss Alps beyond Grindelwald. If you opt to have meals here, expect superb quality. The plating was well done, and the flavors are delectable. My one and only complaint is the presence of flies. I understand it's natural, but there were no electric bug collectors/zappers on the patio, and if you left windows open then one or two might interrupt a peaceful rest.

Great place. Stunning views, very close to the cable car. Fantastic food and breakfast. Casual, friendly, and very accommodating staff make you feel you are among friends.

Scooter (Trottinett) driving distance from bort to Grindelwald village.

The trotterbike ride down the mountain from Bort was so much fun! It took a bit to get used to it; but after figuring it all out, the downhill ride was pure bliss!

The food was good, service could be faster. Likes to sit on a nice ski day not 1.5 h.
