Rooms are clean and spacious, well equipped, has an in-house restaurant, quiet location, stable wlan, close to the train station and bus stop. Nearby shopping facilities. Very nice staff.

A classic Swiss beautiful German hotel.

When I stayed at this hotel first time, it was 1981. It is 36 years ago. At that time, Mr. Walter and Mrs. Marla Birkhauser were the owner of the hotel. It was the old beautiful building of Emmental. Mr. Birkauser was one of the best Swiss cuisine chefs in the world. He had served his cuisine to President John F. Kennedy. Since Water and Marla’s were so friendly and generous, I stayed there every year since 1981 to 1993. Sometimes, I stayed for one month at the studio apartment. I stayed with my husband and also with his mother too. In 1993, I took 7 senior Japanese people from Los Angeles, and stayed at this hotel. Everybody loved staying at this hotel. Now Mr. Urs and Mrs. Hedy Weyermann are owner of the hotel. They are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good, too. All staff can speak English and friendly. I stayed for 2 weeks in 2016, and 10 days in 2017. I love Langnau very much and this hotel is my second home for me.

Rooms are cozy and comfortable, you can really rest in their soft beds. What's more, the food served there is excelled and the atmosphere in the hotel is very warm. Worth mentioning fact is that hotel is located nearby the ice hockey stadium, which is a great attraction (go Tigers! ). I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Very good food with friendly service! With two older ladies on walking frames and walking AIDS were instructed went to my cousin and I in the deer to eat. At the Reservation, gave me a friendly inquiry about the stairs and the accessibility of the toilets. We ordered for Appetizer Nüssler 2 times a trout once, Venison, and Wild, and the sirloin steak The food was very good, the presentation on the dishes we liked and the price was in relation to the quality is very fair. We enjoyed the food and the friendly service. Our little "family outing" into the autumn Emmental was a huge success. With many thanks to the Hirschenteam.

The price for a double room is absolutely no relation to the institution, which dates back to the 80s. The food and the service in the restaurant is top and rips it out again. Dishes are offered from the ingredients of regional manufacturers.

The most beautifull hotel in Langnau, with the best cellar I have ever seen! Try the Fixin 2006 — ;) ).

Here is working with heart and lots of attention to detail, whether in the service or in the kitchen. Was fully satisfied. Super value for money. A tip for gourmets and connoisseurs.
