We really appreciated the calm, the dilapidated room (view of the lake, a beautiful view from the balcony! The room service is impeccable! Breakfast as well as evening meal were perfect! The hotel is well located and allows the visit of several historical sites! We also enjoyed the wellness area which allowed us to recharge our batteries! We will come back with pleasure🌷

The location is beautiful, but that's almost everything. On the website there were super nice photos of the wellness area, but it turned out that it is not as great as assumed, just normal.
The price-performance ratio in the restaurant is not right, the food was not particularly good. The staff should also be friendlier. I was not thrilled with the stay.

Beautiful junior suite with fantastic views of Lake Vierwalstättersee and Pilatus. Top bathing area, great lighting. Extensive breakfast buffet. Absolute dream location.

Most beautiful location in Hergiswil directly on the lake, quiet rooms with fantastic lake views. Very good restaurant with beautiful terrace, in summer directly on the lake Grosses indoor pool with lake view and in summer with sunbathing terrace on the lake. Very friendly staff.

Services were not good. Absolutely no Swiss standard. 20.08.2020 We ordered tartar and had to reorder bread 3 times, because each time only a little bit was brought. Each time we had to wait a long time for the reorder.

Lovely stay we had during Feb 17th to the 23rd, the staff were lovely and the food wonderful. 4 courses in the evening and all very tasty indeed! Only grumble was no tea & coffee facilities in the rooms! I like to wake up and make a cup of tea first thing! Other than that great! :-)

Great hotel with stunning views and very convenient for getting into Lucerne. An ideal quiet break away with the city on your doorstep.

This was are 7th year at hotel all was great views friendly staff great breakfast and evening meals good place to catch ferry and train stations to lucern. Then you can travel to anywhere.

Had a great room over looking the lake in the old part of the hotel, staff were brilliant, choice of food was good and our table in the dining room was reserved for us and our friends and was by the window over looking the lake, a big thank you to the management and staff of the hotel and shearings holidays.

What a place! Beautiful views all round, food is superb sitting out looking at the mountains. Sunbathing out on the deck then being able to take a dip in the lake. We will defo be back.

Industrial, poor value for money, this beautifully located hotel does not deserve its 4 stars that it gets to the daisies for those who know the criteria. Acceptable lunch, good fruit, bad coffee, disastrous unrenovated room décor and bathroom of the 80s or 90s. Reception staff unfriendly. We won't go back.

Very friendly home. Spa extra. Great breakfast. But soundproofed rooms: you can hear the neighbors snoring and all the noise in the hallway. Shame.

Hotel has good location outside of Luzern in small and lovely town. If you don’t like to stay in the big and busy city Hergiswil is good place to stay. Hotel is clean, good view, has good facilities and service is good.

Absolutely dreamlike. The interior design is rather rustic but the staff extraordinarily accommodating and friendly. The location and the SPA complete the whole thing perfectly. We'll be back for sure.

Restaurant was good and food tasted. The meeting room we moted, however, was an old room. There was a lack of everything, pens, postits, beamer, flip chart, whiteboard markers. You had to ask for everything individually, not promoting for a creative meeting when you have to constantly re-run stuff. Likewise, no one came in between asking for drinks or anything like that.

The hotel is very nicely located, a bathing jetty by the clean lake, a place to eat excellent, very friendly service — but: Rooms to the noisy street, furnishing old baked, to the shower you had to force your way past the toilet.

The dancing Pilatuskeller is great for dancing. It has live music. Dance floor not very big and dance floor of stone. Furnishings and ambiance nicely done.

The hotel was very cute in many ways. Different styles played throughout the entire facility. The staff was rather friendly and informative. We were greeted with delicious juice at the front desk. Pets were allowed so we brought our small dog. There's a small park just a 30 second walk down the road to let your dog relieve itself. The view was beautiful from our lake view room, even though spring isn't quite in full effect just yet. There was a beautiful balcony outside our door that was private to us. Cute seating as well. Our bed had multi colored lights to choose from that my kids found awesome. I did however toss and turn all night. The rooms were rather hot to us and the bed was uncomfortable to me. I believe the air controls in the room were not for cool air, thankfully we brought our own fan. Pillows were feather down and went completely flat laying on them. Hair and body wash is provided on the wall of the shower. The bathroom also comes with hand soap and a box of random personal items if needed. There's room service. The door to the bathroom was see through all the way. I sent my family out onto the balcony when using the bathroom. Other than laying on the bed, you can see into the bathroom, so not much privacy. The bathroom floor could use bleach and a good scrub as well. Other than that it was visually clean looking. There was limited 220v outlets to plug our phones into and used the one by the door.

The only unfortunate shortcoming happened at the New Year’s Eve event. Guests were not told that drinks are all extra. I believe something like that should be mentioned at the time of reservation as the price is already pretty high.
Otherwise, I can recommend this hotel.

Waking up and looking out over my balcony onto Lake Lucerne will live on in my memory ad infinitum. This is a magical location with the mountain on one side and the lake on the other. Switzerland is expensive. This hotel is not, comparatively. If I had to criticise, I'd say the rooms, or at least mine was dated. But it all worked the bed was comfortable and that view doesn't date.

Fantastic hotel in one of the best locations I've seen. The staff are friendly, esp Karin for making local recommendations for watch shops. The food is pricey, but it is fabulous and at least breakfast is included unlike others we went to. Very relaxed after 2 days and we will be back next year definitely.

Appetizers from the Apero Oke, made the impression as would be some convenience. What a pity…

Location and breathtaking views and the famous glass factory is near the hotel 150 m. Entfernt. Spacial views from hotel the rooms with sea view, there is also air condition but the bathroom is old. Must to renew. (das Badezimmer braucht renovation! Es ist teil renoviert).

Really great hotel, nice spa and friendly staff. We got a free upgrade with full view of the mountains, witch is beautiful. Can recommend to take a swim in the lake while you're using the spa.

A magical place to come to, fantastic location on the lake & nestled between the mountains. The hotel staff are so helpful, nothing is to much trouble with excellent food throughout the day & evening and then there is breakfast heaven in the morning. Great facilities with pool, gym etc. You can even swim in the lake if you want. We shall be returning for more.

Not welcome as a normal Fussvolk. You are generally deliberately ignored! Have got up and moved on… I've never seen anything like this before and am very patient!

In the restaurant a totally overpriced cordon bleu eaten for €42. The children's schnitzel for €11 was almost as large. Where is the relation here? Beverage prices are only slightly raised.

Nice quaint hotel but too far from town center to walk there.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Not the customer, the wallet is king! This Restaurant/Hotel should shun all gastric Bypass patients, because in spite of in advance schicktem doctor's certificate, which confirms that I can only eat a quarter of the normal amount, the hotel operator is not prepared to give me a discount (I was willing to pay about half the usual price, even if I at the time — 7 weeks after the surgery — less than a school child to eat). I work in Zurich and go to eat every lunch in Restaurants or canteens and it was the first Time that a restaurant operator had no understanding for my Situation and no solution offered! I Yes something smaller from the map, the reasoning was can order. Our group, which is Fondue Chinoise dinner went for more than 20 years, every Christmas, there, will not enter this Restaurant again. We are looking for a friendly Alternative, which appreciate the regular customers.

Excellent Hotel, Room very classy with a beautiful view. Impeccable Service. (Including room service). Parking available. Situation close to the Alfalfa optimal, than the positive. If there is a need to improve some thing it might be the card of the restaurant offering a choice is a bit limited.
