The experience of staying here was surely tainted by a receptionist, who seemed to be the lady owning the place. She has been straight up rude and disrespectful to us as guests. She did not seem to have the same rudeness to the non-english speakers though… The soap dispenser in our room was not working and when I tried to get some soap from her she replied with an "I see what I can do" and proceeded to shush me away from the reception. Later, she gave me little shampoo bags instead. Quite the experience. The place is otherwise clean and the location is good, however if you are not a local or a german speaker you should probably look elsewhere.

Cosy hotel with some small rooms. A breakfast that is only surpassed by the friendly staff. We would come back at any time!

A private and cozy hotel with a lovely hostess. It's not big, so it doesn't stay in groups of tourists — it's an incredible plus.
There is a parking lot where you can leave the car after eviction while you visit the mountains. The hostess also gave us a guest card, on which many entertainments are free, and lifts — at a discount of 10%. The tistilly on Titlis is only a 5-7 minute walk.
The breakfasts are good, all homemade. The rooms have balconies overlooking the mountains and stables) ) )

Very very very upright number and bad internet. According to the payment system is also a nuance — a few days before the settlement the hotel books money, during the settlement writes off a new one. It's been more than 2 weeks, and the first lock has not been unlocked ( ( (

The place is good for bed and breakfast. Rooms were standard small in size. Many houseflies in the room and in breakfast section was surely a bummer. Its a family run hotel with limited amenities. Location is 2min walk from the rail station.

Superb place to stay. V clean. Near to railway station. V got v good breakfast both Indian and European. Room no 10 has superb balcony view. Will surely stay at same place next time.

Great hotel with even more amazing people. The price is very good and even a small but fine sauna area is included. We enjoyed our weekend – highly recommended.

Great place if you are here for the Wintersports. The spa and jacuzzi are relieving after a day of skiing. Staff is helpful. The only concern is that some of the rooms are a little cramped. They are clean and well maintained.

The owner is trying by all means to withhold from you the full amount. We were given the wrong room that we booked, the other is not given, and the money on the card I held. The horror! Lucky quickly found the room next door.

Amazing place, very clean and quiet, nice family running it… breakfast very nice, town two minutes walk, also lift to mountain, not a lot of shops in town but a few for souvaniers and grocery… monastery within walking, amazing beautiful village.

Great place to stay. The host and staff do the best to make your holiday perfect :). Clean and comfortable room. Tasty breakfast (coffee… whatever you like will be prepared for you). Wellness… perfect…

We originally booked another hotel "Pension St. Jakob" and were "upgraded at no extra charge" to this hotel, although the room was very clean and modern we were looking for something like the pictures from the other hotel where the rooms were much larger. Four of us (2 adults 2 teenagers) were in a room for 2-3 with an additional camp bed. Neither the bedroom or balcony door could fully open. We had to leave the suitcases on the balcony as there was no room to move. There is tea and a kettle in the room but no milk, after we arrived I asked reception if I could have some milk and the lady had a rant that milk isn't included and I should buy the milk and said I'll be asking for salt and pepper next, it was very strange and unwelcoming. After the rant she gave me a small jug of milk, the next day at breakfast we were given UHT milk in small cartons for tea, unexplainable. Engelberg is very pretty and the hiking is great but I wouldn't recommend this hotel and would warn anybody that hasn't been here before that the prices for everything are shockingly high.

Nice little hotel close to to train station. We were three people staying in one of the smallest rooms and that was a little bit cramped since there are almost no place to have your luggage. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Turned up late and was found a great double room with balcony, overlooking the railway but really not a problem. Breakfast was very good lots of choice. Staff very helpful.

Good hotel for a budget. Just the right things u need. Good clean beds and baths, Toiletries tea good breakfast location. Definitely recommend this if you are on budget.

We had a very good stay at Hotel Belmont. It was no problem arriving late, we felt very welcome, the breakfast was the best ever. To the Titlis skiing station it is a 10 mins walk, the ski bus is very convenient (2x hour). After the last day of skiing we were still able to have our car parked and to take a shower. The only downside was the small bathroom.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, Cozy Little Room. Very relaxing, quiet and pleasant spa with steam bath and SAUNA. Heart-shaped, Rich Morning Buffet. Price-performance is Right.

Very friendly, great breakfast, good location :-)

The view from the room was Wonderful. But when we came in, the window was slanted, so in the evening at 19.30h very cold. We could not regulate the room temperature, the light on the unit has only always flared up briefly. In the bathroom the small metal bucket was still full.
At breakfast the choice of Swiss cheese was missing and the cold cuts were also very sparse. The Deco was very nice.

Nice boutique hotel at Enzelberg.

We were very warmly received.
The room was very clean and modern.
Very well liked us that we had a small, well-stocked kitchens, available.
The breakfast was very good and varied. 5 minutes eggs fresh fruit salad, many delicious things were available. Staff very obliging and friendly.
We look forward to next year back run can get a room for the strongman.

If your looking for quiet, and having amazing scenery, this is right for you. It was peaceful and was not crowded at all (from my experience). That's all I need to say.

It was a very nice stay experience. 5 mins walk from train station. The room was so good, comfotable bed, only thing I dislike is the show room is smallest I have been. But it is OK because it has a nice view balcony. You can store your bag or ski equipment there. Juice was really good when I had breakfast. Good Staff.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Belmont. If you like small, family-run hotels this is a perfect choice. It has friendly atmosphere and service-minded staff. Also very convenient with the bus stop right outside the hotel for the bus taking you to the ski lifts.

Super service and reasonably priced. The hotel is clean. The service is excellent under the eye of Carla and her small but efficient team. Its the second time I have been and I'll be going again. Thanks for a great stay.

Clean, perfect service, wonderfull sauna, good breakfast — the pictures on the website don't do this hotel justice! We really enjoyed our stay. The main ski lift is reachable on foot (an easy 10 min. Walk) or with the ski bus which passes every 30 minutes. The staff did everything to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Carla and team! When we are in Engelberg again we will definitely stay with you again.

I was nearly put off going to this hotel by the previous review, but I'm glad that I did't. We spent a week in Endelberg skiing — it's a charming village and the hotel was perfect for my family. The hotel is immaculately clean, warm and welcoming. It has a great family run feel to it and if you are looking for this sort of experience then I strongly recommend it to you. It is situated just a short, 5 minute walk, to the cable car station and has plenty of storage for boots and skis. The rooms are nicely furnished, comfortable and very clean. The staff were helpful anf friendly and we very much enjoyed our stay there. If you are after the style and service offered by a big chain hotel, then maybe this isn't for you, but I spen a good deal of time in some very soulless business hotels and it was great to spend my holiday time in this hotel. The hotel doesn't offer evening meals, but there are plenty of reasonable restaurants a short walk away in the village. Thae my advice and book a table the night before in peak season as they are all relavively small and very busy. Enjoy your stay — we did.

We stayed here for 2 nights in august. We payed 225 euro's, wich is a poor price/quality. Especialy because we didn't feel very welcome. The hostess basicly ignored us the whole time. The rooms are small but well kept. I would not recommend this place to others.
