Quality hotel, excellent stay. Small negative point in the air conditioning, especially during high heat.

Really nice hotel but breakfast was 45 minutes later than advertised one morning so too late before I had to leave for work.

Great value for money, centrally located in the pedestrian zone, modern, clean, practical, fast Wi-Fi, good shower & bed, good breakfast buffet. Our room had a balcony, ideal for a nightcap in fresh air after a tough day. Reception was very helpful. Access by car for loading and unloading without problems, parking in the car park (10 min. On foot).

Well placed hotel in the city center. On the other hand, the rooms are tiny except those at the end of the hallway. Give it to courtyard, so very quiet. The reception was very cold at night. Very good breakfast with friendly staff.

Hotel is clean, modern and has a brand new deco. Very comfortable room with a comfy bed and amazing shower. Breakfast has plenty of options and all the food had good quality. Great location in a pedestrian area in the city centre and near all shops and restaurants. They have an agreement with a private parking just 500m from the hotel. You can drop your luggage at the hotel door and drive to the parking. I would definitely come back.

Excellent central location with many shops, restaurants, and historic locations within walking distance. The staff is very informative and kind. They will provide you with a free transit pass for the duration of your stay. The breakfast is decent and there is plenty of room in the eating area. I recommend getting a front room as the rear rooms overlook a very small courtyard and face several windows of what may be an office block. It’s not a problem, it’s just not as nice.

Adorable boutique hotel, lovely staff, excellent breakfast, central location! Only complaint is the cheap shampoo which doubles as a body wash. And no conditioner… please, for the sake of women travellers, invest a bit more in the toiletries!

Nice little hotel in a very good location of central Lausanne. A metro station (Flon) for both lines is literally 4 minutes away, so is a bus stop, it is also a few minutes walk to the cathedral and other landmarks of the old town. The hotel was renovated recently so it is fresh and meticulously clean. The rooms are with no frills but smart and comfortable with everything you need. We had breakfast included in the room rate which was a nice bonus. The breakfast is really good (for a 3 star hotel). It has selection of pastries and bread, fruits and fruit salad, muesli, ham, cheese, toasts, eggs (boiled and scrambled), good coffee, etc. The food is really fresh and tasty.

Great place to stay in downtown… very closer from metro and lots of bus lines. The room is very comfortable as good is the twin bed. Included breakfast is assorted and tastily.

Excellent standard of accommodation, everything is spotless and brand new. The beds are superb, TV has loads of channels (UK as well), peaceful location yet right in the city. Wifi is fast and breakfast is fine.

New hotel, completely refurbished in the middle of the old town of lausanne. Rooms are comfortable with excellent italian showers and very elegant bathrooms. the staff is professional and helpful, it shold be rated as 4 stars the only negative point, the lack of ac.

Reopened in Spring 2015. Very elegant design, highly attentive staff, perfect location and tasty breakfast. I definitively recommend this hotel.

I was a little scared by the reviews read after the reservation but I must say that I enjoyed at the Hotel des Voyageurs. I think the appreciation of the property depends very much on personal taste. Certainly will appeal to people who appreciate the rustic and traditional. In contrast, those who prefer modern hotel with all mod cons, should move onto something else. I stayed in room 558, top floor (so no problem with the upstairs tenants), single, non smoking. The room is cozy in quite small. I found clean and tidy every day. The carpet is filthy right (I don't think the change every week and in Switzerland we use). The small CRT TV has been off as it would have been off any other tv. Close to the tv, on the wooden desk, I found a kettle (which I didn't use) and you need to prepare the tea. The bed is small and quite uncomfortable, the pillow case. Besides that in the room there is a wardrobe (safe), a bedside table and mini bar. The bathroom, as opposed to what I read in other reviews, is modern and clean with a large shower, toilet and sink. I don't know if they have reformed recently or I happened upon a room "lucky". If I find anything outdated in the room are the frames but survived anyway. The rest of the hotel is very traditional, consists of 5 floors with a beautiful staircase with handrails in wood and carpet on the ground. To move there is a small and fast elevator.

Basic as can be, brown as can be, cold. Breakfast was OK. Best thing about it was the location.

Negative: – TV 14 "Cathode ray tube (cabbage still exist) missing the lens to see it – located in a pedestrian area with a lot of noise during the weekend – non-existent phonic isolation, the tenants of the upstairs looked like a herd of bison – old carpet and Filthy – Mould in the bathroom – All the building is dated from the furniture to the sanitary is from 1960 that is not renewed — the axes of the net of the bed broke practically with every movement — buffet breakfast very miserable and above all it is not possible to have a cappuccino why not V I is coffee machine. In Short it deserves a full renovation and definitely does not deserve 3 stars. The price is also fully stratospheric for the service offered.

-Tiny TV (one wonders how this "antique" still works) ;
-View on a courtyard with fans and kitchen hoods noisy and odorous;
-More than sufficient insulation;
-Old carpet;
-Mold in the shower!
-Linoleum bathroom hole, old and frankly not to the taste of the day (must have been a 1960s! ).
In short, everything deserves a good renovation.
Even if the bed and furniture are recent, this hotel deserves at least 3 stars. Rates are prohibitive. Not recommended for those who want the comfort of a 3 *. Pay nearly 160 francs for one night, who is mock-t-tone?
