Kindness and love to detail, eating was mega fine, dessert and cake buffet a feast for the eyes.! Was not there last time.!

Beautiful restaurant, in the wonderful val roseg. Great service, very friendly staff, especially a baby, to which we have given great tips.

Wonderful place! Excellent hospitality! And last but not least located in a fantastic landscape with great views into the world of mountains and glaciers!

Restaurant is very expensive, even by local standards. However it is excellent, most beautiful scenery, amazing location, and everything they serve is great, perfect. It's a place I gladly visit again (once in a while) but not too often, due to the prices. Eg simple portion of fries as a side dish, CHF 11.50, to give an indication.

Great restaurant. Table of the sweets infinite and of excellent quality. Something that never happens in Switzerland, I had reported 1 bottle more to the account than 3 drinks. It is always a beautiful place. Be careful.

I state a particular: their extreme kindness.
We decided at the last moment the program for the Saturday, and intending to go to the Val roseg (Fantastic indeed! ), we were interested on the internet to see what was available.
The cue has given us our beautician, who can not tell exactly where, he told his experience in a valley reached with sleigh rides and horses.
We asked for information by mail, and so booked, but just in time, I noticed the mistake on the day, and rewritten mail to rectify.
In the answer they also gave advice on how to get to the refuge, precisely with the carriage and horse, to book. All correspondence without any effort, in Italian.
After almost an hour and a half of omnibus driven by three horses, we found our place booked in the center of the room, a position a little uncomfortable for our particular situation, but still well served by the staff (Italian and local).
Appetizer for two, gnocchi with gorgonzola, cut and skewers, dessert and coffee: a little caruccio, but very good!
The really wonderful day has obviously made many people move: The restaurant was packed, as well as the terrace, completely flooded by the sun! The service was very slowed down and quite a lot I waited before I could pay.
Absolutely inaccessible to disabled people.

Self-service restaurant was unfortunately too. In the restaurant with service, the many cakes and desserts were unprotected on a table where all visitors pass by. Something Unapetitlich.

Highly recommended. Truely amazing location. Hotel is uniquely located in the spectacular Roseg Valley surrounded by mountains, glaciers and rivers. This location delivers the rare feeling of being alone in the Swiss wilderness. The only access to the hotel from nearby Pontresina is through the forested valley travelling by either a horse drawn carriage (cost not included) or by the hotel shuttle bus. I highly recommend traveling by horse drawn carriage as it offers a wonderful and unique introduction to the Roseg Valley. Having visited in both winter and summer, this hotel offers a totally unique experience. The dinner menu offers high quality seasonal food. Breakfast is of good quality with reasonable choice. Rooms are comfortable but the main selling point of this hotel is its proximity to the spectacular Swiss nature.

Very impressive place, only construction in a valley surrounded by mountains and an incomparable nature. Beautiful cross-country ski slopes, well-marked Trails for pleasant walks in the snow, "listening to a lovely silence". Great respect for all the places and animals of the forest, it is not difficult to see roe deer, chamois and squirrels. Comfortable hotel, not luxurious but suitable for a casual holiday. We had an organized trip, at a pretty high price. The room was very spartan and was not like the ones shown on the site. A bit high prices at self-service, a unique dish already prepared and a little scarce, a dessert and a beer 22 euros. Dinner (included in the price of the trip) already chosen by the hotel and not egregious, above all it was not pleasant to be treated differently from other diners. Before departure, a cappuccino of the machine and a 15 euro tea.

Class excursion, whether on foot or by coach. Top Panorama, it's worth it…

Great view and nice desert buffet but staff seems to have been stressed and not super welcoming.

The location is unique; The service and the quality, however, lurcheted: Too few staff, stressed staff because understaffed, you hardly dare to ask anything and have to disturb as a guest. Too bad, but typical when a restaurant has a monopoly position.

This review is related to outside restaurant. Delicious cake but poor service, electronic payments only from 40 euros, below cash only. Keep in mind before your order.

It is always an experience to come to the Rosegtal and stop in the restaurant. The dessert buffet is sensational of course also the food that can be eaten before. It was nice that it worked out today with the dessert.

Good place, beautiful position in front of the roseg glacier. There is a restaurant and a self service area. Good food and breweries. In particular cakes. Near the restaurant there is a transportation service organized with horse carriage.

Great views of the glacier. The restaurant is half served and the other half is self-service. Unfortunately, the buffet was incredibly slow to and since the buffet. The soup was cold when we could finally pay. Netfully, it was reheated. She tasted ok, but nothing more.

Half obligatory for the walk in Val roseg. I recommend the buffet of sweets to be enjoyed on the outside Terrace Glacier view.

This is a review of the restaurant outside during summer time. It's a great place. Stunning views on the (shrinking) glaciers. Food is excellent. Staff super friendly. You can go on foot, mountain bike or horse.

This is the perfect place for those who want to have a calm stay and love to explore nature! The hotel is the only large building in the beautiful val Roseg. You can reach it by horse drawn carriage or the hotel shuttlebus. The owners and employees are super friendly and they'll deliver you excellent service and food. Rooms are comfy and from some of them you'll have a breathtaking view! Also the hotel is the perfect spot to explore the secluded valley with it's small rivers, mountain lakes and glaciers. I'll go there soon again!

The waiter is so fast. Put some not ordered truffle on your meal… and charge you with additional 70 bucks as a surprise.
