Our second visit to this fabulous hotel where the location is superb for skiing and shopping, service top rate, facilities perfect and food sublime. We're definitely coming back next year.

Hotel rooms are good but the service level are way below than expected. We were promised and well communicated station pick up but the car didn’t turn up Until 30 min after arrival of glacier express and reason provided they assumed train arrives at 5. Expected them to be attentive as I was travelling with kids. Even the car which arrived had food packed behind so not sure if they don’t expect their passenger not to bring luggage! Room heating were not effective as cold air was seeping through windows… told everything is automatics and cannot do anything There has only been one answer “sorry” without any attitude of making things correct or providing solution Even when asked for suggestion to go around the reception had very few suggestion even in terms of eatery Overall the experience has been bad considering we booked a “monopol” brand hotel … if u want rooms … good to stay but expect service stay away … you will have better option in St Moritz Stay on 11th Feb 2019

Very nice hotel in the center of St Moritz. The food was a dream. The staff very accommodating and friendly. We are very happy to come back.

Overall a reasonable hotel. More like a 3* than 4* (which is what they claim). Lobby is a small dimly lit bar, rooms quite noisy (traffic and noise from surrounding rooms) — sound proofing poor it seems, Internet unreliable and very slow. On plus side, staff is amazingly helpful and friendly and the restaurant is excellent.

Nice hotel in St. Moritz. Lots of nice amenities, spa, etc. I wasn't there long enough to take advantage of it.

Rooms are small in Size. Located centrally. Bus stops, just outside the hotel. Good Breakfast.

Super good people super nice everything ok.

We were so pleased we choose this hotel for our stay in St. Moritz. The location is directly in the center of the upper town in St. Moritz. All the best restaurants are located within a few minutes walking. The staff at the front desk was so accommodating. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite on a corner with lots of windows and plenty of room. Each floor has a different contemporary artist featured (Picasso, Dali, Miro and more). More about the front desk staff; Chiara was committed to us having the very best experience in St. Moritz. Each day she had a suggested itinerary, based on the weather for us to explore the surrounding mountains. She also made great dinner suggestions (check out my reviews for Dal Mulin and Mulo’s). Most of the restaurants in town are closed on Sundays, so don’t save your favorite for then. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet included with your stay, in the cozy Mono restaurant. We did not take advantage of the spa facilities, but we did discover the beautiful rooftop patio adjacent to the spa. Should we have had a day of bad weather, I’m sure we would have enjoyed the services. Guests have access to the gym and the indoor hot tub (with a fabulous view). Another wonderful bonus in St. Moritz is that you receive free passes to all of the public transportation when you stay 2 nights, or more in a hotel. This allows free entrance to all of the gondolas, funiculars and in-town buses.

We got our accomodation booked at the Monopol for the jazz festival in 2014. The service as well as breakfast, cleanness and design of the room was excellent and we felt very welcomed. Strongly recommend your stay there.

Very nice hotel and very central hotel, directly opposite the Church. Congratulations to the front desk staff, very friendly, helpful, practical advice (buses, tours, how to go where, etc. ). Tastefully furnished, bright and airy, very pleasant and liveable chromatically. There is no lake view, you see the roofs (third floor) of the adjacent buildings, and the tops of the mountains.
The breakfast buffet is just about right at four star Hotel, a few drawbacks but overall good service.
A critical but we have to make it: was it really necessary to furnish the corridors that lead to the rooms with paintings so (literally) obscene if not downright horrible? For example that it was close to our room is unequivocally a crime: naked woman on the ground who is stabbed by a masculine form. MAh! Other paintings down the hallway naked female bodies with dark hands represent assault them. A proposal: instead of paintings, really horrifying, a nice coffee vending machine on each floor would be really the most … in Venice have even the Ursulines!
