Better than good in all areas. Great.

Always worth a trip. Were there for the Chefs Night and the Maran Challenge.

Price/performance is borderline, the staff is friendly but very stressed, reception courteous, goodwill is lower case, room is probably with a large balcony and views.

Inviting outdoor terrace with friendly service and delicious flat. Ideally, the path to the Maran farm can be connected to the Squirrel Trail through the forest, which leads directly from Arosa.

I don't know the hotel but only the restaurant. The terrace is very nice. This is, in my opinion, one of the best tables in Arosa. I recommend the homemade burger with valley meat and homemade fries. We can have a homemade beer.

Good service, inexpensive lunch menu, friendly reception, quiet bar with good Wi-Fi reception.

Fantastic rooms, great hosts we spent our holidays with our two children in the farm Maran.
Room: As a room we had two double rooms to the south with connecting door. The new double rooms are simply great! A heated shelf for the gloves, rain shower in the shower (not in the bathtub, this one has it separately yet), night light in the bathroom, socket in the safe (! ) and first-class box spring beds… it was thought of everything. At night it is extremely quiet. The rooms are super soundproof, you sleep like God in France!
Lobby/Bar It also has a new lobby area, which has been very atmospherically implemented. Fire place, armchair, billiard table, piano player and a good rum card… Heart what would you more! For the children there are two playrooms, one of which is just a little small at the bar.
Restaurant in the farm Maran it has several dining rooms for dinner. This makes the atmosphere more personal and much more pleasant. There are no such "Wartesääle" as other 4 star hotels in Arosa are partly the case. The staff is very helpful and really friendly. I can't agree with other reviews here. During our stay everything was to the full satisfaction. The quality of the dishes, the size of the portions as well as the presentation was impeccable and very high quality.
Wellness The Wellness area in the farm Maran is no longer up to date.

Food top, service flop admitted: it had a lot of people. But with that you have to rake in the service on a sunny Sunday in January in Arosa. The staff were extremely unchallenged and had to wait a long time before being served unfriendly. The table was never completely cleared and so the predecessor's stuff remained on the table. We ordered one serving of salmon each. This was absolutely perfect. Only a half a piece of toast was ever brought and we had to order it twice again. If it was at least warm at the time of delivery…
All in all a disappointing stay. Unfortunately, it was not the first time that we had been so pleased with the service.

I planned the trip to Arosa for an hockey match of my son. I've chosen the Hof Maran seeing the good review on the net. The receptionist was very friendly. The room was very clean, and modern. The dinner… superb Little story: initially I had planned a 5 person stay at the hotel, and payed in advance. But at the last moment my wife and my 2 daughters were ill and stayed at home. During the checkout I received a incredible surprise, they had refunded back the money for my wife and the two doughters This is what we call "kundenzufriedenheit". Good job.

The location is a bit far from the main station, but the buses are free during the day, and it's easy enough to go hiking/skiing from the hotel. The room is surprisingly large, the sauna is a bonus, and the restaurant serves good food / breakfast. Overall, a lovely stay.

The location was great and the staff were very nice and kind.

Were two days in the yard Maran. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great. Excellent food and great wines. The dot on the I is the cordial, lived hospitality of the host family. We'll be back!

The hotel management has allowed extremely rude persons to be part of its staff. I had a first hand experience that I do not wish for anyone else to have, with an incredibly unpolite manager of the hotel's restaurant. Most of the hotel workers are educated and nice persons but allowing such a person into the staff left a lasting bad impression on me.
