Room with lake view. Large comfortable bed. Everything clean. Food was very good. Very friendly staff. Were very satisfied.

Cozy place with a view of the lake, besides an abundant green area. Large rooms, warm, good breakfast, very nice place. Well worth the accommodation or just have a coffee. Enjoy it.

Very unfriendly staff. We had to wait 15 minutes until we were admitted. I had to get myself a chair, the staff didn't bother to get the missing chair at the table.

There are many positive things to report: Hammer location right on Lake Walensee, free cot with bed linen, clean and extremely functional rooms, attentive service in the restaurant, beautiful wine list — especially those of Casanova WeinPur and a fine breakfast without Frills. The many packaging and disposable items in the bathroom, tea and breakfast buffet are worth improving. Please produce less waste! Otherwise a highly recommended address.

Entered for lunch. Friendly reception, table is allowed to be selected, that's a pleasure. Currently, there are just "fish weeks" and the beginning of Lent. The map is heavily focused on fish (local, from the lake), vegetarian and limited standard meat dishes for carnivores are also available.
The price structure is rather high, there is no plate service under CHF 30. A daily plate is not available. The A la carte kitchen requires patience and waiting time, the dishes are well prepared and taste. Given the price level and the expected preparation time, an amuse-geul would be a pleasant interlude.
In summary: My expectations of this address could not be met, price/performance are not in balance.

Always a great stay. Right on the lake with great views and a cosy atmosphere. The garden terrace invites you to linger in the summer.

Nice garden restaurant, unfortunately the price performance ratio is not true! Relatively expensive for what you get served, the operation's Vida, the hospitality last strongly to be desired.

Here I was with my girlfriend on a skiing holiday in the Christmas holidays 2011 for 3 days. Our double room was very nicely decorated, we had a super view of Lake Walen. From the living room / bedroom you could look through a porthole-like Windows in the bathroom — maybe not for everyone, but we found still incredibly nice and welcoming it.
We have been driven daily by a staff car to Flumserberg; We could easily turn our ski equipment overnight in the garage.
Also the food was flawless and even — for Swiss conditions – quite affordable.
