Location is calm, rooms are efficient and cute. Services are wonderful. I will recommend it.

Convenient, 10min drive (or bus) from the centre of Lucerne. Quiet location. From the third floor you can see the lake. The structure is old but kept very well. Pity the carpet that gives it just an air years 80-90. All very clean and the staff is extremely friendly! The breakfast buffet is small but can definitely be enough. Parking near the hotel for 7 Fr. Per day.
The room was spacious with a balcony. The bathroom (shower only) is a bit small and only soap is available in the wall dispenser (they are a kleptomaniac of soaps, I admit).

I booked on their website. Booking process was easy. I got an upgrade to a bigger room and beautiful view for free. The hotel had vacancy even from Saturday to Sunday (the one night I stayed). The hotel is located around 2km from the transportation museum. It has parking (7 CHF per 24h). Room was generous and clean, bathroom was small and a not old, but functional and clean. I had no issues with noise and the bed was confortable. Breakfast was good, too! Staff was friendly and welcoming. This hotel was a real bargain and given the price I paid, I expected much less. They even have free bike rental, and Lucerne is great to visit by bike. There is a parking lot with two spaces to charge electric vehicles right opposite the street.

Clean, tidy, correct, friendly. Nostalgic lift (really worth seeing). Not highly modern but all very authentic and pleasant. The bathroom is not very large but functional, you don't need more. Street noises are clear at the good location. Window to and it's quiet.

I booked this reservation in July 2017 and inadvertently entered the wrong year. I intended my trip to be for Nov 2017 but accidentally entered 2018. I was charged for my booking on my credit card when I made it which I knew would happen. So this reservation was for almost 1 year and a half out. I realized my mistake the SAME DAY I made the reservation and attempted to contact the hotel. No response. I could tell the dates that I actually needed in Nov 2017 were not available so I needed to cancel this reservation since of course it wouldn't' work since I was arriving a year earlier! I made the reservation through Expedia and tried to have them help me contact them explaining what had happened. It took me several days attempts as I was told the front desk clerk did not have the ability to make that decision and issue me back a credit. After more than two weeks, multiple attempts, messages to them… the manager responded that they would not be willing to issue me a refund since this was a non-refundable reservation despite the fact that I had been trying to fix this mistake since the very day I had made it and they had AMPLE time to get a new reservation for these dates. I own a B&B and am in the lodging industry and am amazed at their treatment. I've never heard of a legitimate, reputable place that would treat a customer this way when it was so obviously a mistake, caught right away and gave more than a year to re-book the room.

Next to the lake. Free bikes to ride along the lake. Scenic views, reasonable prices.

Very nice shop owner, the room lighting is good, no air conditioning, summer evening to open the window to sleep, a little noisy on the road, the others are very good. Especially that old-fashioned elevator, up and down very feeling Oh.

Not advisable. Very basic. Far from town. NO Airconditioning. Not comfortable.

We had cockroaches in room 108. After telling the reception the first time she said it was unfortunate and didn't say anything else. Then after we came back in late evening we found more crawling in the bathroom and near the headboard. The reception was closed but hotel across the road transferred us to a different room which didn't seem to have any cockroaches. At checkout we mentioned it again expecting some sort of compensation but the lady said "we talked to an expert and they said they were local beetles. " She also said "we don't have cockroaches in Switzerland" that was the craziest excuse I've ever heard. So we left hoping none were in our luggage.

THIS HOTEL ROCKS! I highly recommend Hotel Bellevue. My sister and I did not want to leave last month. The friendly staff and service was outstanding. We were spoiled! Our room was just as nice as our 5 star hotel in Zurich. Actually, it was even better because each room has a nice outdoor private balcony. We were so pleased with our 3rd floor view each morning and sunset looking at the majestic view of mountains and Lake Lucerne. It sure beat sitting inside a stuffy hotel room. Since we depended on Public Transportation during our trip in Switzerland — Bellevue is right next to the bus stop 24 that takes you into the heart of Lucerne Old Town and the Train Station for further exploration of Switzerland. That was a big plus for two senior citizen women traveling alone.

Stayed here for one night. Very basic hotel room without any great facilities, but just OK to sleep. In the morning we had a great breakfast outside on the terrace with a great view over the Luzern lake.
