I book one night through a site. I'm registering my credit card. I get the booking confirmation. No worries.
In the afternoon, I call the hotel to find out when we can take the keys to our room. The person replies: "We are open 24 hours a day. " I said, "perfect we'll be late at the end of the evening. " (I specify that I do not give an hour and that I do not give in return). I finish by asking if everything is OK with the reservation, they answer me: "I do not mind the reception but I do the necessary".
End of the call.
Arrived very late at the front desk, the first thing that surprises is the unpleasant smell of frying, cooking. No one is present and no means are put to call someone.
By I do not know what miracle, after coughing his lungs and emitting a noise of foul spitting, appears on the staircase, a man dressed in a vulgar short and an old relic. No presentation, no goodnight and he says, "This is room 17, the keys are on the door. " Your credit card is blocked we could not make the payment. This is your fault. That's not our problem. "

We remain aback of this first exchange a little dry and try to understand. We remain polite and courteous. We understand that it is a lost sentence.
This man (who we don't know who he is. ) An employee? The Boss? A manager? ) remains in a loop on "You have blocked your card, it is your fault".
I am trying to ask why I was not told on the phone or why we did not try to reach us to share this inconvenience. We want to recognize this "bug" card, but when we are professional, we open the dialogue and we try to find a solution. Especially since we were correct. I also told him that I never gave a time of arrival and that it is also for this qie I had called.
He implies that I lie and ended up saying that we should leave the door of our room open because of the product for the toilet was put.
It was the drop of water. We left the institution, mentioning well that we will recommend it to anyone and we point out to this gentleman his lack of professionalism.
It's just outrageous and not "trader" as an attitude. Again, if we had been dishonest or otherwise, I might try to understand. But this is simply the lack of know-how as a hotel staff.
We will never return to this establishment. In addition, some complacent/positive comments are made by the hotel staff itself. It's a mile away! So beware!
Make the choice to pay a little more, but make sure you have a quality of reception that you will not find in any case in this establishment. Abe!
