Aiden by Best Western Stockholm Solna

Rooms are low quality, single room double bed has a total of one outlet with two sockets nowhere near the bed. No fridge in my room and my coworker who had one said it barely worked. Bathroom was dirty and didn't have any soap nor shampoo. Walls are thin so I can hear every noise in the hallway. Service seems okay but their systems are garbage. Had 4 single rooms booked, beds weren't available so we got 4 double bed rooms which is understandable but this made the booking weird, we first went by our boss who actually booked the rooms name. Then by the first coworker to input the room code and everything which we didn't have access to thanks to the room swap. Then to the second coworker who used the firsts name to get his room. Then the third one gets his room but forgets to change the name to his so it stays in the second coworkers name. Then when I get my card it gives me the same room as the second coworker. I don't fault the staff since it seemed to be an issue with the system but what could have taken 5 minutes took nearly 20 of back and forth. Parking is also horrible, we got a "day pass" that lasts until the next day. But it specifies its only valid UNTIL that date so at midnight it's no longer valid. Rooms were also horrendously priced. Go literally anywhere else.

The staff was very service-minded and sweet. We had a big spacious room, it was clea, the only downside was it was terribly warm, some kind of ac or fan would have been awesome.

We came here in February from Finland for valentines celebration. We thought the hotel was nice and the location was good. But we did not know that it’s like a gangster place. Midnight while sleeping, my husband and I woke up to very loud music and loud sexual intercourse coming from the room next to us. We first contacted the reception and they tried to warn the room but nothing really changed. I then knocked on their door myself and warned them about the extreme noise. Still nothing happened. We went to the reception and reported them again and he could not stop them at all. We were forcefully transferred to a new room instead: yes in the middle of the night. It’s weird that the reception is powerless about this and they can’t call security to apprehend these troublemakers. I don’t recommend this hotel. Very very bad.

DO NOT book a room before reading this. Be very careful about this SCAM HOTEL. They will charge you money without you knowing it.
I stayed here 2 nights this month and I paid the total amount. The booking was done via Booking. Com.
During my stay I received a notification from Booking saying that I will be charged SEK 862.75 because the hotel marked me as "not showed up".
I reached out to the hotel via Booking. Com and they said they would fix it.
Then my booking was shown as canceled in Booking. Com (I was still at the hotel), I went down and the reception said they would fix it.
After 4 days I was charged SEK 862.75 by Booking to be paid to this hotel, I emailed to the hotel, and they ignored me. Ps: Booking. Com says I need to fix it with the hotel.
Total scam, don't trust this hotel, don't book any room, don't give your credit card details to them from any channel!

I was informed that I had been moved to this hotel when I arrived at 00.30, based on the other comments, it happens a lot. Location is ok, there is a supermarket nearby and tram station. However, this room was not the cleanest.

Decent location and price, but an unacceptable privacy breach seriously impacted the stay.

— Location is ok not great. For my purpose of concerts at 3arena it was decent as there's a direct tram. But if you're going to the touristy spots in Gamla Stan there are better options.
— Bed was ok.
— Close to a Flygbussarna stop.
Disliked.
— Staff came into my room without knocking, despite a do not disturb sign on the door and the doorlock being engaged. I had just came out of the shower. Completely unacceptable.
— Doors would slam heavily and shake the room. This happened a lot.
-TV would occasionally lose channels.
-Central Air rather than individual air con.
-Wifi was slow.

Do not book this hotel on Booking. Com because the hotel system was compromised and I got scammed. Pls book directly and/or do not click on the link that is sent on the booking. Com app. The hotel will not take any responsibility and zero compassion. I lost 357 euros for falling to spot this scam and no one will refund me. It's outrageous. (Reddit has tons of info about this as its happening to many travellers). After 12 years of using booking. Com I have deleted the app and will avoid it in future. Very sad.
Hotel review: room 217 has a broken window which didn't close so I got very sick with a cold. Other than this and the above it was fine. Location and breakfast are highlights.

I was disappointed by the recent stay at Aiden by Best Western. Unfortunately, this experience has been far below the standards I expect from your brand.
Upon check-in, I was assigned room 315, which was in an unacceptable state—dirty and evidently not cleaned. I have attached photos to demonstrate the condition of the room upon my arrival. When I raised this issue with the receptionist, she offered a different room on the basement floor (room 01). Given that I paid over 4000 SEK for a room with standard windows, being placed in a basement room with only egress windows was neither what I paid for nor what I expected.
The receptionist and her colleague then assured me that room 315 would be thoroughly cleaned within 20 minutes. However, upon returning, I discovered that while aerosols had been sprayed throughout the room, the bed linens was unchanged, with the same sheets seemingly left from the previous guest. The pillows were not fresh, and the towels were missing. When I voiced my concerns, both receptionists insisted the room had been cleaned, despite the lack of housekeeping staff on-site at that time. This was not a professional cleaning by any standard, and I felt the efforts to “prepare” the room were superficial and dismissive. It appears that rooms are not being cleaned until the day guests arrive.

Good location, very well connected with the metro station. The breakfast is good, the rooms are very quiet and spacious, but the bed isn’t so good. Too small the double bed and for a couple isn’t so comfortable, I felt that we were in a single bed, but the rest, overall is good.

I have stayed in a single bed room and they were of good size. I would have preferred blackout curtains all the way through as I got woken up by the light early morning. I like the way you could open the windows completely and get some fresh air.
Good breakfast as well and close to my workplace.

On the day of our arrival, while we were travelling to Stockholm, the hotel calls to inform me that they are overbooked. We were given the choice of either staying at a different hotel in a regular room, which we declined, or stay in two different rooms during our two night stay. We chose the latter, but I wish we hadn't.
We originally booked a superior room for both nights, but we were given what they called a "family room" the first night. It was the worst night I've ever had in a hotel. The room – yes, it was big, but insanely hot and right next to the reception at the same level as the street, so also incredibly noisy.
And the next day we had to wait several hours for our new room. When I complained in the reception about this inconvenience, we were only offered 500 SEK compensation. We were to pay 8418 SEK for the entire stay, so I fell we were undercompensated for our terrible experience. This was the Eras Tour weekend, so problably why the prices were so high.
I have also emailed the hotel, but they never replied.
Steer clear if you value sleep during your hotel stay.

Awful and expensive. Rooms were too hot, and super noisy.

Simple yet very well maintained hotel. I’m not sure if this was originally a hotel and then later converted into a hotel, but that was the vibe I got. The staff was wonderful and the rooms very clean! Location is not central but the hotel is located between 3 metro stations so it was easy to get into the city to see the sites. Free coffee and tea all day and the breakfast was better than expected! There is a supermarket down the street which was very convenient.

Nice hotel with very service minded staff. Clean room with all necessities. The breakfast was good as well… not extra ordinary, but what you'd expect in Sweden. The biggest surprice was that the hotell served free hotdogs close to midnight when we returned from the concert we had attended to… much appreciated.

Like: location was good for me, close to my office, the staff was great, the room was spacious, the bed was good enough for me, the internet was fine too.
Dislike: I didn't particularly enjoy the breakfast, plus I didn't really enjoy it in the room. Hard to really say why it wasn't cozy, but probably because of the view, the furniture, the design or something why the stay wasn't really that nice.

Wonderful hotel, great breakfast, people at the reception always kind, with a smile and happy to help, near is grosery store, tram and bus station. Near is Solna shopping center and there is also a metro station perfectly conected with Stocholm center. I had such a lovely time in the hotel and in Solna as well as in the city center. My room was so perfect, bed cousy, a bunny was waiting for me when I came in (I had to have him so in the end I bought him 😊), everything was clean and new. Happy to come back whenever! ❤

The rooms were very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The temperature in the rooms could have been a little higher but otherwise it was very cosy. Friendly staff. The hotel is very close to the subway and bus station, therefore easy to get to Stockholm city and visit.
