Great location and courteous staff.

If only the walls could tell stories about all the events that has taken place here.

We visited Bofors Hotel 10/11-2017 due to that My vife Annelie Öster Did a Vine testing presentation. We stayed over at Bofors Hotel and had a fantastic experience. We can highly recomend to spend a night at Bofors Hotel, their hospitality was fantastic and you could feel the sprit of Alfred Nobel around you.

It's old, but you can satisfy the inner atmosphere.

The lunch bistro restaurant is excellent, although sometimes crowded. The food is well cooked with a number of choices.

I eat here almost everyday. Very well behaved and well dressed people. Enjoy a good lunch here and a coffee afterwards in the salon. And you can snatch a cookie on the way out!

I visited Bofors Hotel yesterday on the 17th of December 2016 for a yearly Julbord/Christmas dinner together with family (we have done so for the past few years). This year was a bit of a fail and next year we probably won't come back. We were the second party to arrive. Usually the staff places each party at the tables as more and more people arrive but yesterday Bofors Hotell clearly lost control of the situation. The salon was so full at one point it was impossible to even move around. The staff started bringing people to their tables but the only problem was they forgot we were the second to arrive so we were actually one of the very last to be seated. All in all we waited almost one hour to be seated. A small "sorry we kept you waiting" would have made up for everything but the waitor said absolutely nothing and just placed us at our table. I've worked as a waitress before and if it would have been me I would have made sure the drinks were on the house but a simple "Sorry you had to wait" would have been perfectly fine.
The logistics also failed yesterday. You had to stand in line for around 10 minutes to get the food at the christmas buffet and I heard many people beeing annoyed and saying that they should just go for the desert table (where there was no line) and skip the rest because it took such a long time.
