Was nice, clean showers, corridors, rooms and kitchen. Nice staff and always welcoming. Comfortable beds and close to a grocery store. 9/10.

Clean, tidy and affordable. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, good location and close to transport and shops. Friendly and helpful staff. Some events were organized for backpackers but didn't always go as planned. Hand soap in bathroom could be refilled a little more frequently but that's getting picky Would stay again in the future.

Private room was tiny and absolutely stifling hot. No windows and no A/C meant no circulation; a very small fan was provided which kept me from sleeping in the hall under the nearest window! Many guests in our hallway slept with doors propped open with a shoe to get airflow. Resulted in a very poor sleep for our 1 night stay. Bathrooms were an average on the clean scale. Staff were friendly and location was convenient but the room experience was so poor I could only recommend booking a room with a window.

Very good. Good kitchens, bathrooms, staff, comfortable beds in the dorms with curtains, socks, personal light, mesh pocket and underbed locker. Good location for the park and good cycle routes into the city centre and the local park with cycle storage and pumps.

One of the best Buffet services offered. The rooms, bathrooms as well as the kitchen area were also kept clean. Very close to alot of supermarkets and restaurants and well withing walking distance to public transport routes.

A good and a cheap solution to spend a night or two whilst visiting Göteborg. It's sitting on a really convenient location in the center of the city, making everything easy to reach. 2 mass transit stops a couple of minutes away and some restaurants and cafes as well. Quite clean rooms, bathrooms were clean as well. Only problem for us was this being a youth hostel it had some young lads making quite the noise some parts of the day, but other than that I would recommend it.

Good location fun little area. Our room was facing the street it was super loud so that's a downside. And the cabinets in the room weren't very useful.

It was a very nice place to stay. Close to the city centre. The idea with curtains of each bed bunk is perfect. Dormitories and common area as well as bathrooms are well maintained and equipped. Backpackers göteborg is just another name for the place.

Carpet is super nice and compact. Good for long nights.

Grand gaff. Looks iffy from the outside but the rooms are lovely, Wi-Fi is good, kitchen has everything you need and the staff are sound.

Ok place to stay a night or two. It is located very centrally and close to a couple of nice restaurants as well as to one of the major party streets. It is far enough from those to still get a quiet night of sleep. The rooms fulfill the basic needs and the breakfast is decent and inexpensive. However, cleanliness in the bathrooms is so-so. Many don't seem to have been cleaned during our 24h stay.

Good location and it was clean. My good was stolen from the fridge by people living on benefits.

Good area and good cleanliness also. One of those big hostels with rooms without windows a little alienating, but if the stop is short it goes more than good.

Located near the National History Museum, which is about 30mins walk away from the main central train station. Security pass to enter into building and also room. 24hr reception — I arrived at +1am in the morning and was kindly greeted. Booked a private room which had a TV. Linen and towels included. One of the bathrooms that I used had a mouldy ceiling and smelt of mould but luckily there were plenty of other bathrooms. They even have a sauna but I didn't use this, so can't comment. Breakfast is sublime average. No Atmosphere and not ideal for solo travellers but they do walking tours and a pub crawl.

Very nice Hotel/hostel, small rooms and shared bathrooms. I did not like having to pay sheets and towels aside.

The kitchen is really really good, the staff is really helpful and there are lots of events for the people staying in the hostel. The cheeper hostel rooms don't have a lot o ventilation (no window) and that's why they are cheeper, but If you wanna save money is a ok option. It is allowed to drink you own beer in the hostel. Depending on your reservation sheets are not included. There is also option of sauna that you can pay 40 for sauna and 10 for every extra person.

Nice place n nice staff. But if that someone who took my toilett bag would be kind enough to atleast return my splint (bettskena). Since nobody else then me can use it anyway/J.

Good atmosphere and attention. The hairdryer in the room did not work and we were provided with another no hassle.

Good budget hostel for a weekend trip. The room and facilities were good — I liked the fact that the lockers locked with your room key, and were a good enough size to store most bags. Power points and pockets for storage of small items by each bed were convenient. The toilets and showers were modern and clean. The staff were all helpful. In terms of social activities, they took us out on Saturday night with a small group to a restaurant around the corner that did all you can eat pizza with the purchase of a beer — good value, and while anyone can got to the restaurant and get the same deal, it was good company. The location of the hostel isn't central, but only a half hour walk to the city, with Haga on the way meaning that it's a relatively easy and worthwhile walk. The tram system is great, and gets you close to the hostel if you're happy to pay. Overall a great experience, and would stay again.

Super clean and nice. Good breakfast buffet.

Good location in the older part of town. Big bang for your buck as it was really cheap and clean dorm. The little lady who takes of breakfast was the most hard working lady ever. Strongly recommend.

You have to bring your own linen or rent some for a fee. The rooms were unspectacular but not bad, the staff were very friendly. The kitchen and common area are nice.

The hostel is clean and well kept. But it should be kept in mind that this is much more of a family hostel. Not somewhere you should stay if you are young and traveling and looking for fun.

Its a great Hostel. One of the best I have been in so far. Good activities, clean, calm and awesome staff.

Clean and spacious, staff are great, and all bathrooms are private. Kitchen/dining room can get a little chilly in the evening, and the room had no windows which was the only real drawback.

Nice rooms for short stay. But the Wi-Fi network is too poor.

Been staying here two times during my visits to Gothenburg, it is a good place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep and have your belongings. The rooms are kind of small with only the necessary things like a bed and a table with a cheer. Fresh and clean with nice staff, cheep and close to everything. You can buy breakfast and towels/bedsheets in the reception for the stay or bring your own.

I've been there twice and always had a clean room and enjoyed my stay. The large shared kitchen is good for cooking with friends or meeting people.

Clean and tidy, good facilities for cooking. Friendly staff. Long walk to city centre, but good bars and food around and shirt trip to centre by tram/bus. City of Gøteborg is beautiful, which made my stay even better.

Good Staff and great structure.

To arrive at the drop-in you have to go really early, because the amount of people that they take every day as "emergency" is limited. The doctors feel very close and concerned about people's health. They have several different specialists each day, and a lab service that goes really quick with the results.

Pretty good Hotel, clean with common kitchen but you have to pay extra for the sheets…

The rooms, showers and breakfast are good. But the location is horrible (over 20min. Walk to the central station) and the hostel has nothing special for me…

Friendly staff, service as described, clean rooms, facilities. Good location, quiet (at least in the middle of the week when we stayed there).

This hostel was very very noisy until 3 am! It was impossible to sleep and the nightwatch was unable (or unwilling) to do anything about it two nights in a row. As a conclusion: if you want to sleep, avoid this hostel and try instead the SVIF hostel "Masthuggsterrassens Vandrarhem" nearby.
