Fantastic pearl literally in the middle of nowhere. Tranquil surroundings, 13 cozy rooms, lounge with plenty of room but arranged for privacy. Very nice terrace in the garden where they serve charcuterie and beer if you feel for it. The four course dinner was absolutely marvelous with a good wine menu to go with it. Finishing off with a delicious breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and a large selection. This place is absolutely recommended if you want a quiet and cozy getaway with your loved ones or maybe for a small business event.

Very nice hotel, we had snow quite romantic. We were greeted very warmly. Food the rooms were very good, full stars.

We chose Idala gard as our wedding venue based on the beautiful location and charming farm houses. We wanted something truly Swedish and got it! Charlotte, Kristofer and their team were very helpful and accommodating from day one — no request was too big and they were full of suggestions. The chefs headed by Matan did an amazing job — the food was not only delicious, but also looked beautiful and sourced locally where possible. The large rooms in the annex of Idala are lovely and all tastefully furnished and individually decorated. Even the smaller rooms in the main building are good, although not as grand. We would definitely recommend Idala gard — it's a real gem!

Recently attended a wedding at this venue and stayed for a couple of nights. The hospitality shown by the owner and staff was excellent. Great rural location for a wedding matched by excellent food. Would love to return some day!

I stayed at Idala Gard for a week long yoga retreat and had a beautiful and peaceful experience. The farm house has 1800's charm and the grounds are lush and green. The owner, Kristofer and his staff, were incredibly friendly and helpful in accommodating our group. Zandra, the chef, poured lots of love into the delicious vegan food. I loved my room, which had a balcony facing east with the morning sunshine. Tessil the friendly farm cat, was a big highlight for me! I love having a cat when I'm on vacation.

Lovely staff and personal attention from the owner, Kristofer. Swedish charm in restored buildings from the 1800s. The stone courtyard conjures thoughts of old world craftsmanship that predates the use of concrete. We visited on Midsummer, a Swedish holiday, for a week long Yoga retreat. Zandra cooked for the entire group, mostly delicious vegan food. When it was time to leave, we learned all of the cabs were off duty or had been booked due to the holiday. Unbenounced to us, Kristofer had already arranged to have family members take us to the train station. What great service!

Lovely location in the middle of the Skåne countryside. The food in the restaurant was lovely. And the courtyard is fantastic. However the service was lacking, with very little emotion behind anything. The service in the restaurant lacked knowledge about the dishes and wines. Also, the rooms themselves were a little bit in need of some care. All in all, could have been better, but still a nice experience.
