Rörums Gårdshotell

Wonderful hotel in Rörum, very nice reception and a wonderful room. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic with scrambled eggs, prince sausage and salmon, among other things.

Called and booked a pitch with electricity the day before. Travels all the way from Gothenburg, arrives late in the evening according to availability. Once there, we cannot find anyone responsible and try to call the number provided, but are only disconnected and receive an SMS that the person cannot talk. Keeps calling as we don't know where to go. Finally we get hold of Eva, who announces that we have seat no. 3, of which I tell you that it is already taken. Eva is not on site and refers to another person in charge who is on site. Then it turns out that the person standing in our booked place has not even booked. We were directed to a "reserve seat" along the road on a concrete slab that does not correspond at all to the seat we booked. We then ask why the others standing on the spot are not directed to move. Then get the answer that they do not intend to, but offer us a free place in the reserve place. During the conversation, Eva was perceived as slightly irritated and did not even apologize. No professional treatment, which ruined the evening and we had to look for another pitch. Can't recommend this place. There are no guarantees that the place you book will be available when you arrive. Even though we were offered the "reserve" seat for free, the treatment was far from professional and worst of all is that you couldn't apologize.

The family feeling of a farm hotel is 5/5. Family breakfast with a wonderfully inclusive atmosphere. Everything is possible. Very pleasant chat with Eva about marmalade, food, wine (magnum bottles) and their event about champagne. Missed Åke for a little talk about wine. Will be next time. We wanted more people to join us for breakfast after a riding camp at Haväng, which was easily resolved. Very nice crêperie next door. Also Stjärnbryggeriet næstgårds, which was an entertaining experience. Will be back! Nice job Eva and Åke!

2024-12-28 — Was at Rörums Gårdhotell on Pizza night. Very good Pizza and really nice atmosphere. Really good drink selection and the environment is fantastic. There were also a lot of people, actually packed. We will definitely be back.
Two people stayed one night at the beginning of June 2022. Very high standard in the room. Basically newly renovated. Good size both in room and bathroom. Really good, then. The room can match really good hotels in Southeast Asia. If you wanted tea, coffee, ice cubes and the like, it was right outside the room. There are also several very pleasant public spaces both inside and outside. The breakfast is fantastic, almost on the verge of luxury. There seems to be a thought behind everything that is served to the breakfast guests. The owners clearly have a high ambition with the farm hotel, which they achieve in all essential aspects. Perhaps I should mention that we understand that there are also other rooms that are not as newly renovated. High ambition is also found in the outdoor environment, perhaps the garden architect was a bit ambitious, as the garden would need even more care to match the indoor environment. Definitely worth the price we paid.

Thank you to Eva & Åke (the owners) for a fantastic stay! We had such a nice time here. A sweet and cosy but yet a fancy countryside place. All new, clean and nice. The breakfast is truly fabulous. A real wow experiance. The beaches are very close by and easy to access. Tack snälla för allt :)
