Berte Bed&Breakfast in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

How does check-in work, and how polite is the staff?

The staff, especially the host Ulrika and her husband, are described as very warm, hospitable, and cordial. Guests note that they receive a warm welcome even with very late arrivals. The host assists in difficult situations, offers recommendations for local walks, and creates an atmosphere where every guest feels truly welcome.

What kind of breakfast is served at Berte Bed&Breakfast?

The breakfasts receive very high ratings and are described as plentiful, lavish, and even surpassing the standard of high-end hotels. The menu features homemade and regional products, including hot dishes. Some guests mention a unique and delightful tradition where the host sings songs for guests during or after breakfast. However, one review mentioned finding cat hair in the food.

What is the condition of the rooms, and are the beds comfortable?

Both standard rooms and unique accommodation options are available, such as a wood-heated cabin or a glamping tent. The beds are described as perfect and comfortable. An important detail is that some rooms do not have private en-suite facilities; the shower and toilet are located in a separate area outside the room.

Guests can also enjoy outdoor activities, such as renting a canoe to paddle down the river all the way to the sea, going fishing, or watching farm animals including chickens, pigs, and horses.
