Unity Malmö - A Studio Hotel

It is what it says it is, hotel with apartments. The kitchen was great in terms of equipment. They have decent gym as well. Recommended if you don't need luxury and want something practical.

I stayed in Unity for 4 weeks while I was in Malmö for work.
Another one of these new places that looks good in pictures but uncomfortable in reality.
Cheaply done. Extremely uncomfortable sofa beds and very cheap pillows. I had back pain waking up most of the days. The sofa bed is very short and I am not even a tall person.
They need to get proper beds. It's not much to ask for.
There was a loose tile in the bathroom floor in my room and the place is like couple of years old.
They advertise themselves as a long stay studios. But they have 5 hangers and two drawers that should fit all your stuff.
They only have blackout curtains in the rooms, so you either have no privacy or you don't see the sunlight and have the lights on. Easily fixed with 50 kr curtains from IKEA.
They clean once per week but they leave you with two trash bags in between, so you have to buy your own trash bags basically.
The staff seemed not interested with no engagement when you ask them about things.
The location is okay, 15 minutes walk and you are in very lively areas of Malmö but the hotel itself is in the middle of industrial area with most of the area being empty or under construction.
Overall the place is fine for a week but definitely not comfortable for a long stay.

I stayed here for 4 nights. The property itself is very pleasant, especially the garden terrace, which is thoughtfully designed as a chill-out zone – a little jungle where you can truly relax.
Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. I raised this with the manager, who promised it would be resolved, but it seems there is a lack of proper control and supervision, as some issues were not addressed. The hallway on the 3rd floor also had a very unpleasant smell.
For the price I paid, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness. I found a lot of someone else’s hair in the room, which shows that vacuuming and floor cleaning are not done properly. The room facilities are otherwise excellent, but this was definitely a downside.
The location is not right in the center, but it’s manageable, as the hotel offers bicycle rental at a reasonable price (around €10 per day/24 hours). However, I believe the reception staff could use some additional training. One employee was not very polite when I asked for information about certain locations and transportation. It felt like he was unwilling to help and lacked patience. Not everyone is suited for a customer-facing role, as working with people requires effort and empathy.
The neighborhood itself is calm and quiet. Please take this review as constructive feedback, in the hope that you will improve housekeeping standards and bring cleanliness to a higher level.

I stayed at the hotel for like 4 nights. The premises are fairly clean and the room-size was decent — though the TV didn’t work. Nora, the receptionist, was AMAZING. Super thoughtful and helpful also. She made my stay super smooth! The owner of the hotel should be thankful to have her working there…

I really enjoyed my stay. It's such a cozy and peaceful place. The grounds are simply wonderful, and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. My time here was a true pleasure.

The rooms at UNITY Malmö are well-appointed, comfortable, and ideal for a short break. While the location isn’t central, it’s conveniently situated on the number 3 circular bus route, providing easy access to Malmö Central Station and Malmö Castle. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast featured the usual Scandinavian selection—simple but plentiful. Overall, a great base for exploring Malmö. Would highly recommend.

Stylish new hotel. I didn't notice any construction nearby during my 2 days of stay. It was quiet and calm.
Everything is automated, the furniture is beautiful and clean. Beautiful space in the garden for work. Small comfortable kitchen with all the equipment. Delicious coffee. Situated on a quiet street (near the cemetery😢😁). Although it is located far from the city centre, buses and scooters allow you to get to both Malmö Central Station and Copenhagen (the closest is from Triangeln Station).

Not bad overall. Some of the receptionists were really good, but once you stay for a longer period, the cleaners stop caring. You can see it clearly in the video.

Iam living here as a long stay and everything is good so far, but what I have to say that the one man who works at the reception, he has tattoos and had blue denim jacket, is very rude and unpleasant to talk to. He was rude in general, looked like he was bothered to give me what I ordered and I just wouldn’t ever go to the reception if I didn’t live here. As someone who works at service as well. Very unprofessional. :)

Loved our stay at UNITY Malmö! Super cozy, well-equipped, and the restaurant is a total vibe with all the plants. Great gym, chill co-working space — perfect for work or just relaxing. Honestly didn’t want to leave 😂 Will definitely be back! 💯

Loved the hotel. Great value for studio rooms and the barception is a great idea. Able to cook in the room ourselves, with a fridge, dishwasher and an oven. It's a shame that we're only here for one night.

I've just experienced what can only be described as the hospitality equivalent of watching someone try to parallel park for three hours — painful, unnecessary, and somehow getting worse with time.
Unity Malmö has truly outdone itself in the "how-to-disappoint-guests" Olympics, securing gold, silver, AND bronze in every category. And trust me, I've done my fair share of hotel-hopping in Malmö — this place makes the others look like the Ritz-Carlton.
Let's start with check-in. You've just arrived, luggage in tow, ready to be treated like a paying customer, when you're informed that YOU need to take YOUR waste to the waste room. I'm sorry, what? Did I accidentally book myself into a "DIY Hotel Experience"? For a moment I thought I'd wandered into some sort of bizarre reality show where guests pay to be the staff.
The room itself was a fascinating archaeological dig into previous guests' grooming habits. Hair on the lavatory? Check. Toilet seat decorated with stranger's DNA (hair on the toilet seat)? Absolutely. But the pièce de résistance was the plastic shaver cap lying in wait in the shower like a tiny landmine. I stepped on it. The resulting hop-and-curse dance I performed would've gone viral!
And the water situation? Two microscopic bottles for over 7 euros. That's right — they're charging Evian prices for what I can only assume is tap water that's been filtered through someone's sock.
But oh, the breakfast.

I stayed here for 2 months, travelling for work, I was very satisfied, there were a few pity problems, but everything was dealt with efficiently, there is noise from the construction "next door" but that is not the fault of the accommodation. I would not recommend it for short term stays for tourists as it is quite out of the way, but I was working in Lund for which was an ideal location. The bed in the standard room is small for two people for long stay. For people, who are short and have no easy access to storage, a stepladder would be useful. The communal areas are fantastic.

Best hotel I’ve been to! Nice people, everything is well-thought up to the last detail: kitchen with all you need, storage space, laundry room — perfect place for a long stay. Everything was perfectly clean. My stay with 2 kids was successful and it wasn’t noisy at all — usually you can’t sleep well in hotels but we all slept like babies here. The location is not perfect, but not that bad — close to a bus stop, pretty quiet.
I could only wish for a better breakfast — I didn’t see any point in even trying it, you could choose from 3 slices of cheese and musli. I couldn’t believe there was not a single egg in it. And I thought that the Swedish table comes from Swedish people doing it right 😅

So I stayed in Unity Malmo for 6 nights. It's a small well made cozy studio. I quite liked it. The staff at the reception is generally warm and the breakfast is always ready at times. There are decently sized lobbies on the ground floor that you can take breakfast in or simply sit and mingle.
My only issue was that the room is not cleaned unless you are staying for more than a week. I would have appreciated the floor cleaning after 3 days.
Overall a good place to stay in Malmo! Would happily stay here again :)

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and good. Good light breakfast with sandwich, pastries, yogurts, fruits, juices and coffee.

Our experience at the hotel was disappointing.
1. It was clear the frontdesk was uncomfortable with us as a gay couple. She kept talking over me and seemed to completely ignore my presence. At one point, she even took my ID card asked my partener what my last name was, even though I was standing right in front of her. I had to remind her that if she wanted to address me, she should speak to me directly. Her behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional, making for a very unpleasant start to our stay.
