Swedish minimalism is everything but nothing superfluous. At any time of the day delicious coffee, fruit, breads! The city's neighborhood is stunning! Turned the corner and got into the 15th century!

Great location close to almost everything in Malmö. It was really hot this night and no AC made us have to sleep with windows open. Street was noisy, so sleep was not perfect.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms with great space, clean and the bed was so comfortable. The employee was very nice and helpful and the breakfast buffet was lovely.

Good location, small room, breakfast Ok, price ok. Of you want to stay just for sleep is enough.

A long weekend in a perfectly placed hotel in Malmö city. Double room with comfy bed and large bathroom. Staff are welcoming. Breakfast included had lots to offer and an endless supply of coffee. Affordably priced and central location. A+

Best hotel I`ve ever stayed in my life. Attitude and how people who work there handle everything is just top — class. Extra friendly. Ukraine and Sweden have a long history of warm relations but attending this city and staying in this Hotel just proved my expectations on a top level.

I spent a night in the hotel. The price was cheap, it's very close to the central station and to malmo center. The staff at the hotel were nice. The cafe and tea is available 24h. The room wasn't very clean, the toilet seat was moving left and right! there was no toilet paper and the towels smells really bad. The bed was comfortable but the folding bed was very uncomfortable. And you can hear the noise of others.

People with allergies BEWARE! The hotel rooms does not have any VENTILATION, therefore the air in the rooms are stale, humid, and smells of chemicals (most likely used to kill the large quantities of black mold in the bathrooms). No, it's not a joke — other complaints are real. The hotel is very worn down, poorly maintained, and is most likely in violation of several health codes. Here's what's good and bad: + located centrally + breakfast is ok (coffee's not) — black mold in bathrooms — no ventilation or AC (you can open the windows, but it's a busy and noisy street in central Malmö) — beds are worn out, covered in stains, and the bedsheets are old and soggy. — Room doors doesn't isolate outside noise very well. — receptionist struggled with understanding Swedish and English — and was oblivious when we mentioned the black mold ಠ_ಠ I am allergic, and am still struggling with the aftermath from the allergic reaction I woke up to, after one night at Hotel Astoria.

Old hotel, but just right location. Little bit time worn. Clean.
The staff is ok, not so open hart but ok.
For people who just want a bed and shower in good price in the center. And good coffe.

Positive: location, friendly female staff, Wi-Fi ok, breakfast buffet. Negative: no minibar, very few electrical outlets to plugin computer etc, malfunctioning TV remote. Male staff does not greet at all. summary: do not recommend. The price was OK, but the staffs attitude was very unfriendly. Go to another hotel.

I showed up at the agreed check-in time (shortly before midnight) only to find out that the staff had given my room to somebody else. They were completely unhelpful and did not assist me in finding another place to sleep. Stay away at any cost! I'd give zero stars if I could for this kind of service…

Noisy street. Ugly decor. Bad mattress. Good location and breakfast. I paid £111 per night for a superior room that didn't even have a kettle. Room was very big tho and it's a fantastic location. But terribly decorated — Walnut floorboards, Rosewood Panels, Black Cupboards, White Side Tables and Chairs, Vinyl Red Armchairs — No consistency at all. The mattress had a very thick memory foam layer and you sink into it and it's bad posture. I woke up aching. Your rooms face a street where cars need to access to get to the big square. Super noisy. Can't open the windows. But there's no Aircon, so it's too hot. Dilemma. Every night at 1.30am, there's an idiot (I'm assuming is the owner's son) who drives up to the hotel door, blasting boom box Indian music from his car that you can hear from 4 blocks away. Bloody dick. Breakfast was very nice so that's a redeeming factor for why it didn't end up only with one star.

Friendly staff and hotel located in the center, 5 minutes walk from Central Station!

Not too close to Street and not far from central. Good location. Can from Malmö train station.

Nice, small rooms. Good breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The Hotel is nearly within the old City and has reasonable prices.

Very well located hotel with a familiar character. Good value for money. Would book again this hotel when we go to Malmö.
