But unfortunately a little unkempt.
First Camp is a chain with campsites, huts etc. All over Sweden. But standards vary from place to place.
The campsite in Kolmården is located close to the zoo, the largest in Sweden and is correspondingly very frequented under the summer months. This is also reflected in the prices, which in our eyes are set too high for what you get.
Motorhome spaces with electricity are located directly on the street and are very narrow. You will have the view of your neighbour as the water or other nature.
If you want to stand on the square without electricity, for you there is the quite beautiful piece of forest as a selection. There are also the campsites here. It is a slightly hilly area which does not facilitate the search for a suitable place. Both tent and camper.
The place is predominantly overgrown with grass and mowed. Unfortunately, during our stay, the grass was taken in while mowing, so that everything stays on the shoes, tent, etc. Hanging and you carry it with everywhere.
The sanitary facilities are clean but not modern. We also had to realize that the broken stuff, for example, we were present shower head mount. There is a kitchen, with stove and washing up options.
At the front desk, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice place, but by far too expensive for the standard you get!

First Camp Kolmården Nice spacious camping site.
Located right by the sea is still fine from cleanliness.
The place is rather heavily frequented therefore for people seeking tranquility not recommended.
But he was fine for one night.
The crew in first camp Kolmården was friendly and helpful.

The cabbin is not what the pictures at the website promised. Payed 40 SEK for a non existing Wi-Fi. Promised a refund.

Very nice forest camping. Choose the woods and not the regular places.

A good-looking nice camping site with good services and lots of things to do when having some free time.

The caravans and mobile homes may all only in one direction, this are the places to closely. The toilets are for the large space is at a premium and just a stye. Showers standing in a queue, not at all. This is for me NOT a FIRST CAMP NEVER again.

Long waiting time in reception. They forgot to give access card. Nice new bathrooms/wc The food was expensive and NOT good. I could get better food in supermarked Area was nice.

We have been at the campsite (haven't seen a hotel though), which should be a 4*, which it does not deserve. Highly impersonal and long waiting times at the reception, the so called restaurant is fatty beyond fast food… No, certainly not our choice (family with 3 kids). Positive though is a nice lawn with access to the see and swimming (excellent view and scenery)
