A very cute b&b in the Swedish countryside. Very clean and simple rooms and a nice bathroom. Lovely breakfast and was a nice morning to sit outside and enjoy the nature surrounds. I was able to rent a bike to get around the beautiful countryside area, rode to a lake beach and the local ICA supermarket, all within a short riding distance. It was far too warm to try out the sauna and hot tub but will have to come back some day for that experience. Lovely owner operators, can highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

We were delighted to find this lovely B&B in a gorgeous and quiet rural area between Gavle and Sundsvall. Stef was a hospitable host and his historic home and grounds reflect his passion and dedication. He is also a wonderful cook and we highly recommend reserving dinner there. Breakfast, too, had good variety and was tasty.
Our room was spotless with very comfortable beds. Finally, Stef shared some great ideas for walks and fish meals in the area. All in all, the Hedenstugan was a highlight of our drive north from Stockholm!, a terrific area to explore!
