My wife and I just spent a week at Calabash Cove for our honeymoon. This place is absolutely gorgeous. After our week here it became very clear… if you're looking for a party resort with tons of people, go somewhere else such as Sandals or St. James. If you are looking for a secluded, gorgeous, quiet, laid back piece of heaven, absolutely go to Calabash. This was the best vacation I have ever had. Also, as a side trip, I highly recommend the all day catamaran with Sea Spray Cruises… it was fantastic. — — — 38 year old banker from Charlotte, NC, USA.

My spouse and I were at Calabash Cove Resort for a week starting in November 2017. Great experience. As soon as you are dropped at the door, you have a beautiful view of the ocean. The people who work there, the food, the grounds, and our cabin were wonderful. There are only 25 (? ) rooms, so it very personable. We also had a plunge pool which got a lot of use. Chef Paul had only been there a month when we arrived. His menu was delicious and the choices were very varied. After you taste your meal it only made it harder to select for the next meal, have something different or the same again. You're ordering off a menu for every meal including breakfast. I tried to have something different every meal and was never disappointed. We chose the all-inclusive option. The beverages in your room are known name brands. There was even red wine, white wine chilling in fridge, and a bottle of scotch. Ice is delivered every day. Plenty of bottled water and different types of sodas for mix. There's a nice beach with a small pier. We will return. The only issue, that we did not see in the ad, is the number of stairs. 81 stairs from the restaurant to our cabin. This required three trips each day for all meals. A few more to get right to the beach. There are a few levels you could stop at on the way up, but if you have difficulty with this, it is not the place for you. By day 3, we were getting better at it. Would still go there again.

Excellent hideaway retreat. Quiet and set in beautiful gardens. Food is excellent and so is the service. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

FANTASTIC! We made reservations for dinner, Friday night date night, and pre-ordered the BBQ ribs; They were fantastic, what a wonderful meal served by incredible staff, the service is impeccable. The view out over the sea as the sunset made the evening romantic and awesome. We send a BIG THANK YOU to everyone at Calabash for making our evening very special… dave & barb.

I stopped here on a day pass for a cruise for a very reasonable rate. Walking into the lobby is like a view from architectural digest. The staff is welcoming, professional and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has a great view of the ocean. We had a delicious and relaxed lunch at the pool bar. I can only hope to return one day for an extended stay.

Calabash Cove was the perfect place to elope. The staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome as soon as we walked in. The view from the open air dining area is to die for! We loved eating breakfast every morning and watching the tropical birds fly around. The staff helped us put together a stress free and perfect wedding. We loved our private plunge pool and enjoyed spending the afternoon at the swim up bar. Everything was perfect! I dream about going back every day.

A beautiful, peaceful place. Small and intimate with lovely staff and friendly atmosphere — don't hesitate to indulge yourself! I did, for a week in Jan 2015!

A hidden boutique oasis nestled away from the larger more brash chains. Stayed here for a week in mid Sept 2014 and the temperatures were always 30-32c with the occassional relief of a tropical shower. We did have one day of constant rain, but it wasnt really a problem! This family run hotel is extremely quite. Perfect for a romantic getaway ;) The bungalows are as u wud dream with beautiful wooden decks, soft daybed & a lazy hammock to take in the evening sunset. Your own small pool surrounded by wonderful gardens making u feel very private & a refreshing outdoor rainshower that cud easily accomodate 6 people. Absolute heaven! The cottage is fully stocked with premium brand bottles of spirits & mixers, plus a fridge full of wine beer soft drinks & water all replenished daily. Service was discreet. Anything u wanted cud be catered for. Meals at ur cottage, on the beach, on the boardwalk/jetty. Drinks on the beach. Cocktails to ur room etc… all u needed to do was inform the concierge of ur needs via the phone in ur cottage. Being a small boutique hotel with approx 40 residences made up of 9 cottages & then some junior suites, poolside suites & so on. But nothing higher than 2 storeys… there is just one main restaurant plus a poolside bar area.

Stayed here on our honeymoon in 2012. Absolutely amazing accommodations. Private villa with private pool, phenomenal chef and pleasant employees. Will definitely be back.

Astonishing place. A real oasis. The accomodation was great. The staff amazing. The food sensational… not one bad meal… all really excellent. There are not enough expleatives to say how good this hotel is. They really care.
