This is the right choice for visitors who are searching for a combination of charm, peace and quiet, and a easy position from which to reach Airport. It is a big, comfortable place, situated near katunayake International AIRPORT. The staff offer an attentive, personalized service and are always available to offer any help to guests. Apart from the reception, there is a nice lounge where you can sit and drink tea. Have a good Wi-Fiservice.

The hotel is super close to the airport, which was extremely convenient since I was landing at 2am. I was also able to get a ride to the hotel from them. The rooms were big, however the area was pretty humid, and so the rooms got humid. But just turn on the ac for 5-10 min and you're good. My room was located in one of their older buildings, but the nice thing was there was a large "den" like center which was relaxing to hang around in. As for food, I just mentioned I was vegetarian, and they brought me food… no menu as such. However, after talking with the owner, it seems they do have plans on opening a full fledged restaurant. Overall, I was satisfied with the location, the room, and the friendliness. Few things to improve but nothing major taking away from the convenience of how close to the airport it was. Also, free Wi-Fi.

Good and clean hotel closer to airport, good to stay for the night in case you are arriving late in the night and moving on the next morning.

Convenient. Very close to the airport. They will come and pick you anytime with advanced notice. Good food and a quite place. Highly recommended as a transit hotel.

Best budget friendly hotel. Clean rooms. Staff is also very friendly and provide help to tourist in travelling. Good Wi-Fi compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka.

Best transit hotel around Colombo Katunayake Airport.

Had a good stay at Empyrean. Cheap n cheerful for something so conveniently close to airport with bathroom, air conditioner, ceiling fan, TV (local channels) and mini fridge in a clean basic room. Krishna has been great, very friendly and helpful. I'll happily stay again if I have a late arrival or early departure from CMB.

Good place to rest after a tiered flight.

Empyrean Hotel is just 1 km from the Bandaranaike International Airport and it provides a one-way free airport pick-up/drop-off service. The hotel also houses a restaurant and offers free Wi-Fi access and parking. Each room features air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a fridge. The en suite bathroom offers shower facilities, toiletries and slippers. Room service is provided. Guests can borrow a book from the mini library, or use the meeting/banquet facilities for events. The reception staff can assist with luggage storage, laundry, ironing and car rental services.

The Hotel is located very close to the airport, good ambience and reasonably priced as well. The hotel is also on expansion process, I feel the only requirement is they need to have full fledged kitchen, phone's to the rooms, television is there but connection to set off box to be provided and more people to work. Otherwise the Manager and the existing staff are also courteous. My suggestion is for any short stay this hotel is best place.
