Review of Laya Beach 3*

This is by far the worst place I have ever been to. We chose this place as for the company's annual one day team outing because the price seemed cheap. Big Mistake. When we arrived to this place, the stupid manager directed us through a cheap corridor to the playground and that was it. They are protecting the entrance to the lobby as security guards and we were not even allowed to pass through the lobby. (Of course as you might expect there is nothing special in the lobby. There are some chairs and a sofa and a cheap replica of a naked statue David) Then came the welcome drink late and flavor less. You can have a better made sunquick at your grand mother's funeral. The changing room they provided had a worn out lock and it's bath room cannot be locked from inside. It was broken or something. There was only an ample space of shade at the ground and most of us gathered there (The lobby is guarded by the stupid security guard who calls himself a manager). The play ground is not good. Dust all over the place, little or no grass on the field and because of the extreme heat at playground, we gave up playing cricket after a while. The swimming pool was not that good too. Then, at lunch time, that stupid manager came and asked us whether is it ok to arrange some tables and have lunch (Buffet) under that ample space of the dusty playground because they have lot of guests at the dining hall. We asked him WTF and after many hours of negotiating and waiting we had the opportunity to dine at their dining hall. Big Mistake again! Their main dining hall is very small and there was 3 piece band playing songs as loud as they could. We felt our ears are going deaf after about 3 minutes listening to those private bus songs. No! you can hear better songs at a private bus. We felt like they sang in order for us to finish quick and leave. Then I thought that dining outside at the middle of the playground with dust and gazing sun could be far more better than dining listening to those loud private bus songs inside the dining hall. It was the worst buffet I had in my whole life. Speaking of buffet, it was flavorless, few items and rubbish. You can have a far better meal at your grand mother 7 day alms giving. You cannot swim at their so cold private beach and it was risky due to the steep to the beach. After the end of day we had enough and I wanted to leave that place even before the evening snack. Please don't do the same mistake as we did. You might consider this place because it has less price. Big Mistake. The people in this place has no sense of service. Expand your budget more and there are better places. If I could give this zero stars, I would. I am still haunted by this horrible experience.
