The most disgusting hotel stay ever! unless you want to be touched by random men don't go. Checked in with a bad impression… Staff doesn't even know anything called professional customer service! During booking we informed that one room was for an anniversary celebration but no deco and when inquired we were told they don't do any such things! Informed there are no toiletries in the room and they sent a half used toilet roll. Only one pot of something which could be shampoo or conditioner or body wash was there and even that was without a lid. Only bath towels were available and could see yellow stain marks on the pool towels clearly. Bed linen had pen marks on it, sand under the furniture, stains on the cusions and our friend had open tea bags instead of packs. Water was provided in a small flask and the kettle was filled with water. It was a tiny buffet for both dinner and breakfast. Buffet organisation was crazy. There was yoghurt in the middle of the salad bar and the bread was tossed to a corner with dessert! Cutlery was a mixture of all designs seems like ones discarded from other hotels. Pasta was over cooked, pork too sweet so my dinner was only potato with mayonese. Breakfast menu was even worse! Baked beans were wiredly smaller and crunchier. It was more like peanuts in tomato sauce. Omlet from action station had too much salt in it. Sausages were just tossed into the dish with nothing to help absorb oil. All buns were too old to be consumed. Sri lankan menu in the buffet was too spicy; which was more towards a one from a 'night kade' than a star rated restaurent. Since there was absolutely nothing to eat requested some mayo to go with the salads. First request was ignored and upon second request the server brought the mayo but he reached the table rubbing on my body 🤬🤬. My husband asked the waiter to apologize but he just smiled and walked away! We were too upset to continue with our meal so left when we saw the hotel management at the table. My friend went there to complain to the manager and he wanted to discuss it 'decently' downstairs in the office. So we were leaving the restaurant but the manager was still at the table enjoying his meal ignoring our complaint. When challenged he threated us that the villagers might hit us outside the hotel! Had to leave the hotel immediately without staying for the lunch since we were not confident enough to continue our stay there… Only good thing there was the barman's cocktails and the cake we ordered for the anniversary. There are plenty of nice and well managed hotels in the area so please avoid this if you have any self respect!
