Very clean and beautiful hotel, ideal beach, friendly staff, tasty food. Highly recommended. One of the cheapest gems shop in Bentota is inside of this hotel, do not trust tuk tuk drivers or your personal chauffeur as all of them have % from shop where they are drugging you. We bought gems for 30% expensive in the shop which were recommended by our chauffeur as when I saw prices in the hotel I was shocked.

We were a group of ladies from Bangalore on our all girls travel exploring Srilanka and stayed in Temple Tree for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the property. Their location with beach at the backyard is just so mesmerizing and the hospitality services from each and every staff at the resort is worth appreciation. Room service and food was excellent. Don't miss the plain curds they serve in restaurant that is out of world to relish. Special thanks to the chefs in the Restaurant and Housekeeping staff. We would love to go back again.

The resort does not provide ample water in the room, just 1 bottle per day for a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 kid) and when asked for a refill you are expected to buy bottled water at 4 times the printed price. Horrible hospitality.

Exquisite hotel right on the Bentota beach, with beautifully carved out landscape. The food was gourmet style with amazing taste, kudos to the chef. Overall a very good experience, peaceful and serene, thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

This is an ideal place if you want a leisurely stay, place to unwind, away from the madding crowd :) and want to spend cosy time with family. This is best suited for couples but probably not for kids as there is not much to do outside the resort. The resort has a pool and a private beach. (please take your kids if they will be just happy to play with the sun and sand and wade in the pool). This is a luxury resort, with the rooms providing spectacular view of the ocean. This is a spa resort where you can obtain spa facilities. Charges are a little towards higher side. I would highly recommend this resort to couples who would want a break from the hectic and busy schedule of regular life and want to take a breather and spend quality time and unwind. Dinner is buffet spread. I did not see option of dinner having ala carte options. It is recommended that you go early for dinner. Breakfast and Dinner spread is quite varied but the quantity of the food probably does not get suitably replenished. Hence going early is recommended.

Lovely Resort, Good food but there's space for improvement on the food, lovely staff amazing service. Clean and beautiful rooms, had a memorable stay. Hoping to visit again soon and definitely hoping to try the spa.

Had a great stay and friend gathering. Beach is bit rough but kids played at beach. Large kids pool. Rooms are good but service is bit slow. Overall good relaxing stay.

Beautiful place to stay overseeing the Indian Ocean. The staff are very polite despite being fully booked in the off-season. Very prompt in whatever is requested and will recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a wonderful time. Good food too and their swimming pool is just fun. :-)

Place is managed by less experienced, unprofessional management. Staff has a potential to learn and improve their hospitality traits. How ever the hotel is a lovely place and the rooms are very clean and well organized.

A great beach front property with just the right sight of the sun set. The infinity pool besides the beach is great as well. There are few issues here and there, like the hotel isn't centrally AC and thr split AC in the room take a lot of time to cool the place. The service is a little bit slow. But all in all, good experience.

A local "4 stars", but still really a lovely place with a wonderfull beach. Employees are respectfull and rooms are nice and clean.

We stayed for 2 nights,, have to say that the service was extremely top class. The staff was extremely friendly and always had a smile, food was awesome with mixture of different cuisines topped up with some authentic beautiful sri lankan dishes done to perfection. Room service was very quick to attend to our needs at all times. I was bit upset when I got told that we had to pay extra to use the Spa! But overall we had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this place to others and definitely will be coming back on my next visit to Sri Lanka. Keep up the good work cheers!

Clean & spacious rooms play a big part in paying off the price. Customer service and food need a lot of improvement. Beach access is good but not ideal for a swim. Even the sea view isn't that great. Just one visit is more than enough.

Good hotel in Induruwa. Beach front and this can recommend for seaside relaxation. Good for families and they have a good restaurant.

I loved this hotel which had a beautiful scenery with a swimming pool and the beach. All the staff members were kind and respected all of us. They were dignified and always had a smile in their face and showed their hospitality and politeness towards us. They prepared good, healthy and tasty food. Fantastic location with great sea facing rooms and beautifully done rooms, lanscape and pool. What was very disappointing was that though mentioned in the name, there was no spa facility available and the room service was too callous.

A great place to hide from the burning sun. If you are looking for super service and brilliant rooms in Sri Lanka — relax, spend a lot of time. So, rest, the main thing is the climate and nature. There is a pool, a good breakfast. Of the disadvantages — the prices of the menu on the beach do not count on reality, on average + 40-50%

Fabulous to the core, its on the beach at Bentota, sri lanka. The view, the sea, the peace, the rooms with balconies facing the beach. Its so pleasant. The staff is courteous, helpful. The food is very good, lots of variety to please every palate. I would like to go there again for a longer stay.

Excellent location… right on the beach… very quiet and peaceful… Rooms are nice. All sea facing. Breakfast options are okay… lesser vegetarian options. Taste is also acceptable. Usually serve Buffett Dinner… again vegetarian options would be lesser. Staff was very cordial. Quick service. Ovetall great value for money… one star less for less veg options (as I am a vegetarian)

From the outside initially inconspicuous, but a really great and upscale hotel to relax in. Beautiful large and modern rooms overlooking the sea, very clean and well maintained, very friendly staff, high quality and varied breakfast — and evening buffet, cheap spa offers, good Wi-Fi, very beautiful beach and pool. Fully recommended!

The Beach view, The room, The hospitality, The food, The Staff, everything was very good. I enjoyed my stay here. We were here for 2 days. And we loved it… Their Breakfast Buffet and their Dinner Buffet. Both were really good.

This is our second time here, from the time we arrived to the hotel, the staff gave us a great service and the room and the bathroom was clean. Very nice view from the upper floors. Breakfast has a good variety to choose. Special thanks to Miss. Achala from the front desk and Mr. Tharidu from housekeeping for making our stay more comfortable and relax. Even the staff in the restaurant is good.

We were staying at Temple Tree Resort in August with our family. 15 in all including our three grandchildren. Had a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the location was just beautiful. Special mention to our Tuk Tuk driver, Manoj (Manoj Tours) who drove us around and showed us the sights. We made some great family memories.

If your looking for the best service in town this is not the place for it. Comfortable rooms with poor service. But food is excellent. We really enjoyed the food. Superb!

К выбранному лежаку сразу принесут чистое, пляжное полотенце. Из минусов, безусловно не удобное расположение отеля. Пешком ни куда, только Тук Тук.
By changing the five hotels for the week I can safely recommend the Temple Tree. Large and clean rooms, good staff, excellent European cuisine. Large swimming pool and a nice beach with free sunbeds. For selected sunbeds immediately bring clean, beach towel. Of the minuses is definitely not the hotel's convenient location. Walking or where only a Tuk Tuk.

Pros:
Food, restaurant, food delivery to the room. Large room, beautiful view, quiet, nice exterior and interior, although inside the hotel and looks a bit "tired" but it is not critical (eg, the parquet is scratched, there are traces of wall repairs in the room). Nice, beautiful and large pool. Great staff. Flying herons on the lawn.
Cons:
Location-in terms of the availability of infrastructure nearby. There are no shops, as well as restaurants not related to hotels on the beach. I. E. On all beach except coast and hotels more to do nothing, in city will not come out. But the city is not long and not expensive. Apart from some areas of the beach, which are cared for by the hotels, the beach was dirty. Perhaps this is due to seasonality, TC in the program Eagle and tails showed exactly the same beach and it was absolutely clean. The hotel has a strange smoking policy, like smoking in the room, but the ashtrays are worth, one of the rooms was smoky, so we moved to another where everything was OK, but the ashtrays were also present. Terrible Wi-Fi, worst in all of Sri Lanka.
Final Score-4 plus.

Crappy Customer Service, called several times to make a reservation and even send the request email 3 days back and still got no response. Last time call was hangup. It seems they don't care for Local Visitors.

Very nice hotel, a little small but with a beautiful beach front. Food is good, buffet for breakfast and dinner, restaurant staff is just unprofessional. Probably the best hotel in the area.
