We are base at Quarantine start from 27th early mornning.
We noticed the cashier and management behavior/ hospitality very poor.
Even poor Wi-Fi services.

Food preparation is good, currently no rooms service because of quorentine period, Wi-Fi is too slow.

We had an excellent quarantine stay at eden beruwala. Amazing service from staff and delicious food varying each day. Really thankful to chef Deepal for the mouthwatering food, service staff for all the great service, Food & Beverage team, Front office team for all the support and coordination given during the 14 day. We were well taken cared, excellent hospitality. THANK YOU hotel and Army staff.

I came here on 18th September on quarantine. The program here is organized very well. All food are great. Everyday there was a difference in serves. Local dishes made me feel at home. The portions are too much to fit in my stomach but I forced them all in because they are so delicious. Today is my 11th day and I still did not feel that I am being quarantined. Of course I am not allowed to leave my room but all the food I had, the services provided by the room service also the staff from the front desk on business services they all made my stay a comfortable one. A special thanks to Mr. Deepal De Alwis for the great food and also Mr. Tharindu helping me on all the room service matters. I will definitely come again with my family as normal guests once the country is open and no more quarantine. Anyone is planning to visit Beruwela, try Eden. You will definitely enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment with nice sea views and the great hospitality here.

Poor customer service. Need to train staff to resolve customer complaint in a smooth and professional manner.

We came to the hotel on 9th August. As we were on a quarantine period there was no much staff involve in direct service. But when ever we request front office staff were attended and delivered the items on the same day. Most of the time they double check with us to make sure we receive the item. Room service staff was verry friendly. Special thanks to Sumila, the F&B manager of the hotel and Lahiru. He was being cheerfull all the time. There was no housekeeping service which is understandable as we were on a quarantine period. Could not expect much service as the situation is not normal as before. Food is great. Quantity is huge. May be more fruits could have been added to the dinner as dessert. For the next repatriation group If the management can organize a hall for passengers to stay till they check in it will be great rather than let them wait outside in the bus. This is because passengers are tired after a long drive from Maththala. May be keeping a small bottle of cold water to pick up at the lobby or in the hall will enhance the first impression of them as they may feel they are welcomed and been taken care.

Perfect hotel with perfect service. They have everything you need and a bit more. I recommend it to everyone who looks for quiet and comfortable staying. The only problem is they tell the nearest beach is dangerous, and for me it is the most important thing. So Eden is not my choice, unfortunately. However, it was pleasure to stay there, even for a day.

The resort is a marvellous place with lots of rooms mostly occupied by foriegners, it has a 24 hour room service and restaurant a good swimming pool which can be viewed from the rooms. The beach is a 2-3 minute walk away from the resorts garden. The staff is friendly, It was my birthday during my stay, the resort organized a cake and birthday song when we came for breakfast in the morning, the staff sang the song and clapped and wished me a happy birthday and the cake was delicious I had a very great and memorable time at the place.

I attended a wedding at Eden Resort. Delicious food with a three course menu. Good arrangement and superb service.

Ideal to spend your vacation. Staff is helpful and attend to your concerns immediately. Got a warm welcome. Meals were great. Many varieties to pick. Rooms are spacious, clean and has the view of sea. Mr. Yohan Kudahetti, who was the front desk manager, helped us all the way from reservation to departure. It was definitely a wonderful stay and we hope to return again.

A beautiful and a massive resort with excellent service. The full board buffet provided with some excellent delicacies. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The place looks a bit old but it's fine from inside. Friendly staff are ready to serve you best.

Superb extreme hospitality. But, poor facilities. Bathroom standards are far too below the expected 5star standards. Garden arrangements to be improved specially at children okay area. You will witness by seeing my published photos. Basically we had a good experience with difficulties.

Without doubt one of the best hotels I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and was upgraded to a super deluxe sweet with a breathtaking view of the beach. The time spent there with my family was unforgettable. I would highly recommend the Eden resort.

The hotel is on the sea beach but not safe for swimming. Always red flag of danger is placed on the beach. In the dining hall veg and non veg items are mixed, even beef is kept side by side of chicken and fish. Very difficult to take non veg items for tourists of India (Hindu, jain etc). Though the hotel is beautiful and good for spending vacation.

Here you can spend a dream holiday. The staff is extremely friendly and will read every wish from your eyes. Absolute top cuisine with all the delicacies of the country, but also well-known European cuisine. The air-conditioned rooms correspond to the 5-star standard of the house.

A very large hotel with all rooms having a view of the swimming pool and gardens. The hotel extends on to a beautiful sea shore. The menu in the restaurants are not designed for Indian palate.

We were on site for 14 days with the whole family. I was on this beautiful island for the fourth time now. We liked the hotel very much, there is a wide choice of food at meals. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The manager personally took care of the orientation for my wife's birthday. Thank you again for that. You can only recommend the house.

Great resort! Nice clean rooms, pool and private beach. Bad spa service. Our appointment was double booked and eventually canceled. This was quite disappointing. Especially after emphasizing multiple times that we prebooked, the spa manager offered us half hour separate sessions instead of a full one hour session for two people. Also we were quite disappointed by the A la carte service offered in the restaurant. The food took an hour to arrive and service was poor. Looks like their focus is mainly on the buffet service in one of their restaurants. They give packed breakfast if you're leaving for sightseeing early in the morning, we only knew this the day before we left SL. But thought that was a good convenience offered to guests.

Beruwelea as a place is uninteresting — the Fischerreihafen with the fish trade offers the only attraction. Man (n) woman should definitely undertake various excursions. The hotel is perfectly modern. The service and staff very good. Hotel directly on the sea with large pool area with a pollen bar etc… for us it was an exciting and eventful holiday in any case.

We are still here and until now everything is top. Would we come back? Determines!

An amazing place, with good food! However, the swimming pool is quite shallow and if you're there for a swim, sorry mate! Also, a tad careful if you decide to have Shisha, ran in to too much charcoal…

Very nice, pure relaxation, pool unfortunately very warm and no real swimming area, the food was good and staff friendly, on the beach you are approached directly for tours, from a guy named Manu, as from conversations with other guests came out the prices here are very Different depending on how you look. I'd be careful here. We did a mangrove tour with him, here he was very anxious, price was reasonable. For longer tours I would at least compare with official sellers.

Nice hotel with good service. Food is also very good. The facilities and the rooms are clean and modern furnished. We were very pleased and could recommend the hotel to anyone.

After a long journey we were greeted very friendly and cordially by the staff. The check in has worked smoothly. The staff were always very nice and satisfied us. Problems such as a defective door lock have also been solved quickly.
Our room was spacious and modern equipped. Apparently we had a family room because it was connected with a double door to the neighbor's room. Not annoying for us because the neighbors were quiet, but it was very noisy. The furniture was partially worn, but not annoying. The bathroom was equipped with a spacious shower.
The food was varied and from my point of view there was something for everyone. Negatively, the cocktails at the bar have a different taste for every employee. The wait for service in the bar was partly too long.
The pool and the grounds are really nice the beds are assigned by the staff and so there is no annoying towel reservations.
The beach in front of the hotel is cleaned daily, but due to the dirty water from the river we did not bathe there. It is recommended to take the boat to the other side. There is a wonderful beach. We also made trips with the Beach Boys and everything worked out wonderfully, so don't be afraid.
The prices in the hotel for eg. Drinks: A beer costs 0, 6l approx. €4. Wine is quite expensive 0, 2 4, €5 House brand, local liquors are inexpensive, but imported is more expensive.
We didn't like the price policy at the hotel.

Staff of a kindness out of the ordinary, I spent a dream week! Never any problem, spotless rooms and comfortable scented. Every kind of comfort available, great food and in large quantities! At two steps the beach and the sea make this place even more beautiful… and then, fall asleep with the sea that sings the lullaby… that splendid holiday!

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Eden Resort. Absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. The staff in all departments are brilliant. They are happy and smiling, attentive, polite and cant do enough for you. We enjoyed the various demonstrations from fruit cutting, curry making, coconut and Toddy tapping and much more. The sports staff put on various fun games such a boccia, water aerobics, darts and more. Bar staff are also great fun. Food is very good and there are many choices from all around the world. A great New Years Eve party was put on with outside meal and music, dancing and fireworks. Various other outside meals were also organised as well as beach parties. We went on tours for the day or overnight to Kandy which was also superb. I would recommend this resort.

A great getaway that's refreshes and recharges you! The food and service here is awesome. Must check out the water sports facilities offered — the trainer is a professional and a likeable guy! Reasonable rates.

When we checked in the room was not swept but after complaining they made the arrangements to clean it. The food and the environment were great. But we were very disappointed when one of the staff members told us it's good to have foreigners than locals. If they don't want locals to come there they should inform it beforehand rather than asking us to come there and humiliate.

The Hotel Eden Resort & Spa was hit by a burning tour of the Turo Peratator TPG, whose regular customers are more than 3 years. The hotel is very comfortable, beautiful and welcoming. The area is big, groomed. The staff is attentive and friendly, always interested in everything in order and do not need anything. The room is in good condition, equipped with a double bed, TV, air conditioning, wardrobe, bathroom, table for tea and coffee accessories. Cleaning is regular 1 P/day. The beach is also not to be overlooked-wide, clean, sandy, and the water is clear, swim fish, which can even be fed) ) about food-delicious, diverse and fresh, very well prepared traditional dishes, according to your preferences, if Ask for a cook) in the evenings, the hotel has a good entertainment program. The hotel is in a great location. Thanks to TPG for quick paperwork and no problems with flight and occupancy! This full stay was worth the money!

I have visited the Eden 20 times. I have spent the most beautiful, fun and relaxing holidays here. The management always strives to offer all holidaymakers a wonderful holiday. The whole staff is very friendly and you have the feeling that they want to fulfill all the wishes.

An amazing 5 Star hotel! I would not find it fair to attribute 5 Stars without being able to make a proper comment on this. Arrival was uncomplicated and the entrance/ reception area was extremely clean, acclimatised and spacious giving you the feeling you are getting into a massive atrium. At the check in desk you are offered some complimentary welcome drinks to spice up the holiday feeling. Rooms are spacious fully Air conditioned and clean. Room service works every single day and towels even if not needed, are changed every single day. This is obviously a great service to a few, but for me unnecessary. Mini Bar is daily filled with complimentary water (free of charge) and Coffee and Tea (also free of charge). Rooms have a balcony facing the pool and beach area depending on the side you are staying. Furniture is matching the area and is all made of wood. Some people don’t like it, but this is extremely conscious and I’ve noticed that they have their own carpenters working at the hotel, keeping doors and furniture always to an optimal state. For me this is a sign that the hotel things about self-sustainability with eyes on their own resources, which makes it definitely worth your time. Corridors, hallways, elevators are all clean and well taken cared. Regarding the Restaurant/ Buffett there is much to say. Breakfast is rich in fresh fruits: Bananas, Papaya, Pinnacle, Apple and many more, all Fresh and not from the can like you normally see.

We really enjoyed our stay. Food excellent and attentiveness of staff was good. The lounge bar service was wonderful with personlized attention, Saturday night with live music. The pool was relaxing even though very busy. Many indoor games too were available. On the negative side, our room did not have any particular view, which made staying indoors rather boring. Even though watching the Sun set was beautiful.

Nice area and beautiful surrounding… no private beach and the hotel is in need of some updating rooms and facilities… Staff very friendly and attentive… Pool is green colored and in need of a clean. Good food at reasonable prices for a resort… Massages I feel could be cheaper. Also has a games room which is a plus, for those rainy days… Visited in August, which is rainy season… So beach is pretty much a no go. High waves and dangerous swirls. Overall a happy stay.

No rooms with good sea views. Rooms are ok. The breakfast and dinner buffet have no such variety of food that suits most guests. Complicated check in. Staff are good but some are greedy especially if you are an Arab. Location and the beach are good.

Horrible experience from the day of check in to the day of check out. They have a bunch of arrogant staff who threaten the guests and cheat them by double charging. Rooms are very small and once you have paid they will allot you the back facing smaller rooms. Totally avoidable place.

Great place. The staff were awesome with the kids. The pool was excellent, live a swim up bar, and the food was amazing. The beach was terrible. Covered in litter that the tide brings in. We found 3 broke glass bottles in the sand on our only venture down to it.

We observe from the 26.0617-04.06.17 at the Eden Resort, For me an unforgettable holiday. The food is true every day super-tasty, fresh and varied. The room was 2 times a day, cleaned for me, not realistic or necessary but it's always really clean. We had a broken bit of bad luck with our room very much and you had to always wait very long until a Kahm and it fixed the true very bad, many calls needed, true. At best, the staff liked it in this Hotel it is true, always friendly and very accommodating they always had a Smile on the lips, Especially the look of the Pool and Loungbar the true are great as a "real" 2-3 fond of where you have been happy each and every day. The garden is a dream, we also maintain a gardener once to the Pool, they came by ready to equip us with towels and mats, Real top. The sea of red flags to be true every day because the monsoon time, There are flags, and you can also swim this time, but it's still up to the belly into the sea and the beach at betota Beach we have visited since. Thus, I would like to thank the whole Eden resort Team for the unforgettable holiday and I think we see us I when again. Rebecca.

We stayed here for a few nights, and all I can say is, it was an amazing experience. We had great rooms, good hotel staff service, yummy food. If you're an early sleeper, you might have a bit of trouble. There seemed to be music playing loudly each night till about 9.

This hotel give late check out to selected customers per the manager and and top of that manager says after 12:30 there system charge auto late check out, and they cannot change the system what a JOKE, in south there are so many hotel and much better service then this hotel, please look different option and for this is very bad experience with the manager in this hotel and I don;t recommend this hotel to any one in my life,

Hotel positions itself as a 5*hotel. In principle I agree. The hotel has five categories of rooms. Huge room with panoramic glazing, bathroom in black marble, 20 towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, razors and shaving foam, not to mention all sorts of cotton balls, plumbing from a French designer, sitting in a bath you can enjoy the view of the garden, in the room, expensive textiles, huge mini-bar with coffee machine, all kinds of cookies, fruit, night bring свежевыжытый juice and конопе, TV set аккустики, a choice of movies. Magnificent view from the balcony, on the cliff top dining table, 2 chairs and 2 showers. I was very pleased with your vacation.

Hotel 5* pulls no, but solid 4* you can bet. The furniture in the room is old. Diversity in the kitchen almost no no. Almost every day were the wedding. Even to the minus can be attributed the fact that they do not have tulle, and the case is constructed so that it is seen almost all of the rooms on the contrary, respectively, can be seen all the rooms opposite happens.
