Quality of meal (lunch) not so good, unable to cater around 40 people.

It's a good palace & the location is super awesome. Facilities are great.

Did not stay there but someone recommend it for food. Walk in to puzzled look on the guy's face, I asked to they do food, long pause (think he was deciding whether to serve me food or not). He then led me to a table separate from all the other tables, so no hope of getting to chat to anyone. Gave me the menu, I decided what I wanted but then suddenly half the things on the menu were not available. I rarely give bad reviews but this place sucked. Found a local place down the road at a fraction of the cost and was greeted with a smile.

My friend and myself on a recent surfing holiday to Shri Lanka (June-July) were told by Australian friends that the Sri Lak View in Haputale was a good place to stay. It is! The views from our room were great and the meals and service were also great and we recommend this hotel to stay at. We stayed three nights. The staff were more than helpful and we used there mini bus go onto Nuwara Eliya then onto Kandy. If you use this facility we are sure you won't be disappointed. Bob & Pete.

We get the budget room for 3K LKR/night. Nice view. Restaurant with good offer. Hotel taxi (we used for one way trip cca 100km). Wi-Fi didn't work.

We spent 3 nights there from 23 to 25 February 2017 the service is faultless wonderful welcome from Tussitah and all his team the breakfasts and dinners excellent! Surprise evening for my memorable birthday prepared quietly by all the staff tons of places to visit around on the advice of the employees! Stay too short!

Fabulous scenery, very good food, attentive staff. My room no 19 was lovely, but no facilities power points, electric jug, shower screen. Wifi works well.

Stayed in the 4 bed Room, very cheap! Service could be a litle bit more nicer. Beautiful view from the garden. Good food. Would recomend it:)

I stayed here while travelling around the South of Sri Lanka on honeymoon in 2012. This place was initially going to be a quick stop-over but we ended up staying for a few days. The hotel and restaurant are great value for money. Very friendly staff, fluent in English and German. Haputale itself is a very quaint little railway town, gruff at first but the few local eateries are full of locals (always a good sign! ) and we found everyone to be very friendly. One tip, bear in mind there is a mosque close by, so you may get woken up quite early, having said that it is certainly not the loudest or most intrusive call to prayer we've experienced.
