It was a nice stay at the hotel in a mountain view room, with tasty foods and friendly staff.

It is located with the mountain view. And no words to explain their service. Foods were best. All the things were good and it’s comfortable.

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again. 😍

We really satisfied with the place. Calm and quiet, clean environment with a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly with us. Really enjoyed and had delicious food.

This is a beautiful place if you want to have a nice relaxing few days. Scenery is picture perfect. Climate is smooth and mild. Staff is very much helpful. Room service is brilliant. Their food seems to be consist of natural spices. If you love to have the taste of natural spices these food might be perfect. We also very much appreciate that kind of approach. Specially the Sri Lankan food they prepare is very much delicious. But Akway, it is better if you pay more attention in the quantity of spices and oil you add in western food. Nevertheless food is tasty. Rooms have good enough space, a nice balcony with mountain view and all the facilities you need. The location is near to Haputhale where you can enjoy visiting Lipton's seat, Adisham bungalow, visiting tea factories, tasting organic tea near by the road near Haputhale. Akway is a beautiful place. Nice rooms, good food. Specially I like evening mist & fog. Its so romantic.

Hotel located in a scenic area. But foods are very bad. Vegetable soup for the dinner was too much salted. There is not much varieties for foods. Very noisy rooms not sound proofed. I heard too much out side noisy of others. Lack of staff and I was Inconvenient when I departure. Suddenly I had to departure morning around 6.30 am. No one was there to hand over my room key and to open the door. I looked everywhere because I had to carry my heavy bags too. Finally I kept my room key on the front table and opened the door alone and came out.
I booked it for two nights. On my first day when I ready to have a wash there was not soap or anything in the bathroom. I tried to contact the front office unfortunately no one answered. So I had to go to the front office and complained it. Then I got a soap after half our. And the second day they have put expired shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in the bath room.
When I tried to contact front office no one was there to answer phone calls all the time. And I got another Issue for my lunch so I informed it to the lady who I contacted to booked my room. At that time She spoked kindly to me and she solved it. She apologized me. I would like to thanks her very much.
View is nice. Hotel is beautiful. Room is beautiful. Those are the only good things there.
I don't recommend that place. It's not worth for our money.

I checked into this place last Friday — Christmas Day. Everything from Parking itself was an utter disaster. Not enough space for even a small car to turn. Have to go in reverse if you have to park further down. 20 minutes in and you have pretty much covered everything this place has to offer. Green artificial grass area is probably the only good thing they have going on. I booked a full board package. Dinner was terrible. The chef probably has not seen a proper buffet before. The limited number of dishes available were barely edible. My wife who didn't eat meat had nothing proper to eat. When asked for a separate dish, I was referred to a so called front office manager who didn't know how to speak to a guest and kept blabbing about how he has been to many hotels and that he sees nothing wrong with the meals. Must mention he had a poor attitude. Finally after more than half hour of waiting they gave a seafood noodle portion which was worse than the rest. My wife practically slept hungery. The lady whom I booked through was also present and apologized and promised a better service the following day. Come next morning, unfortunately for them or for me, hot water in both our rooms weren't available. After about an hour of trying to fix it and failing miserably, they asked us to use a different room but were adamant we don't use anything other than the washroom.

Had a very good time, we enjoyed lot, Danushka and the team was very friendly and the service was excellent. Food was amazing. No complain at all. Highly recommend for couples and honeymooners and also who are looking for a calm and quite place to spend the day.

Had a great stay. Appreciate the accomodative service by the Resident Manager (Dhanushka) and staff for the good hospitality provided during our stay. Superb view from all rooms and an excelent buffet served although with not much variety. We enjoyed the stay as well as the food and hospitality. I could easily recommend this hotel to anybody who wishes a homely environment when traveling to Haputhale.

Breathtaking views, friendly and supportive staff, delicious food, loved the scenaric atmosphere. More importantly, they do take all safety and hygienic measures. I would recommend this place to anybody who wishes to spend their holiday leisurely.

Lovely resort but lacked facilities for anyone with walking difficulties The stairs were random sizes and narrow Room and view was simply amazing.

Its a fantastic place to spend your holiday. Hotel staff is very courteous and all the required facilities were available.
