Don’t believe what you read in the lonely planet, this place is horrible. The room is dirty, the sheets were not clean, it smells of must, loud music from the street keeps you awake until after midnight and call to prayer starts at 5am. All of that combined with the awful smell in the room means you can forget a good nights sleep. … Ella, is not the charming place the guides would have you think it is, it’s a backpackers disco. Don’t bother, we cut a two night stay in half and couldn’t get out quick enough.

This is amazing place to stay in Ella. You can have a quiet, clean and wonderful stay from here. But you can not order foods from here, they don’t have any foods with them. You need to take them outside.

Excellent old style setting of mostly hardwood. Comfy bed and very pleasant overall!

Very quite stay for a relaxing vacation. Staff were very informative and very helpful during the stay. They offered a scooter with an affordable price for the tour. Some cottages have a very good morning and evening view. This place is very close to the city center. Cottages are equipped with a small refrigerator, safety locker and hot water shower.

It's a great place to observe stunning landscapes around.

Very centrally located, comfortable bed and beautiful terrace. In the bathroom, unfortunately, mushrooms grow out of the floor, the door lock is also a joke, as the closed door can be opened with a gentle drawer even without a key.

Its not good to stay for a night surroding area is noisy garden is not well maintained bathrooms are new but some bathrooms dranage system is not quality no food even a tea we have to go the town for food and tea The web sites photos are not showing the real picture of this cottages iam really disssapointed but the room service is good.

Really impressed by this place. Right next to the center but feel like we're in a log cabin in the jungle. Really cool wooden decor in rooms.

Great place. Clean and spacious, and when I woke up I can hear lots of birds chirping and singing. It's like a cozy house in the middle of the forest and I would 100% recommend this place.

Nice place to stay with cottages having great view right at the center of the Ella town and is close to all the best eateries and pub in the town.

Really beautiful hotel. The view from our room was perfection. Very friendly staff, clean room with tea and coffee provided. Mosquito net, air conditioning. The hot water system was great for the evenings when there was a slight drop in temperature. My partner had hurt is foot at our previous location, the staff went out of their way to provide up with bandages and cleaning supplies. They also helped provide a driver to take us to a pharmacy to get medicine. The hill to walk from the main street to the apartments is very steep and tuk tuk drivers do not like driving up the hill. But the view is worth the hike. Very close to the ella bridge and little Adams peak.

Ideal location and furnished terrace in front of the room (the bungalow on the heights is much quieter than the others). Kettle and fridge in the room. Moisture problem: Bad smell in the room and in the bathroom. No soundproofing between the rooms of the DRC and the floor.

Please pay your tention about this hotel. Because the Road very nervous and never can change two vehicles. If you come asking a tuk tuk to come pick your guest from Ella main road.

Nice place, reasonable price, little bit old need renovations, the best cottage but the issue was with insects and geckos it's over there, the staff was very helpful and kind.

Best place to stay and enjoy your freedom. They provide more facilities I expected. Nearly 400m from town area. They provide vehicles for very very reasonable price. Personally I recommend this place for my friends.

Perfect location for a couple. Very calm atmosphere and walking distance to the city. Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. Loved it!

The pictures on the website for this place bear little or no resemblance to the actual facility. There are no panoramic views as properties have sprung up all around the location. So all views in any direction are of other buildings, electricity cables, telephone cables sometimes all three. Neither do the cottages look like those on the website as they are brick built and not as easy on the eye. The cottages are located in an area excavated out of the hillside which, when we arrived, looked like a timber yard. The facility is surrounded by a tall fence. The 3 pin plug points in my room were unusable as some genius had chosen to put a wooden surround around every socket preventing a 3-pin plug with cable or usb cable from being pushed in, annoying. In city center with noise the view is creepy little comfort average property.

Fabulous place, views fantastic rooms comfortable in a rustic style. Best of all some privacy and peace.
