Superb small family lodge, the rice-curry is served every night at 7pm. A private observation tower allows you to look at the lagoon with the twin. Don't miss the safari with Siri, respectful and attentive, you will see plenty of animals and few 4x4!

The only good thing we had in Lagoon Inn was the safari, I would recommend the place if you want to enjoy Bundala us much as possible. Siri was a good guide.

The place is good and hospitable. Although it was a bit too expensive for us.

Good value. Room amenities are minimal (no top sheet for the bed, etc. ). The room is generally clean although the bathroom could be cleaner. The rice and curry meal was OK not spectacular, but very edible. The breakfast was mediocre. The couple running the place is very pleasant and the safari to Bundala Park offered by the hotel was excellent. The driver was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us as much as possible.

This is very good value for money. Lovely big clean tiled rooms, big balcony overlooking the national park and wonderful birds. The host family are very friendly and as he was a national park guide before he built the guest house, he is very knowledgeable about birds and animals and has a passion for wdlife. They have the only fat dog we have seen in Sri Lanka! Food plain and boring but cheap.
