The staff is friendly. Open to beach. But not clean and safe. Room sizes not bad but no privacy at the night due to tinted glasses without proper curtains. Overpriced compare to surround. There is NO pool in the premises. Resturanant is cluttered. If you are not a animal lover Definitely not the place for you. Coz lot of dogs around. The owner focus to earn more money out of the limited visitors than the service and attracting more. He charged more than the agreed in checkin. So if you are going better to book the hotel online. I recommend you to read all latest comments before you book this place. There are more better places…

You can have a good rest. One minus to the ocean meters 100 to go.

Good location at the beach but I paid too much for what it's worth. The pool was not at the property but at a different location. Good food and nice people working there.

Excellent place. We went to and jihad dinner, staff was very friendly, food was really good and fresh.

What a great place to stay, right on the beach and friendly people. Next time I will stay in the deluxe rooms facing the water for a really wonderful view.

Good food, probably even the best on Tangalle beach. Friendly staff too and you’ll get the sun beds for free when you have lunch with them. Good price too.

Amazing experience. The rooms were super clean and you can have a direct access to the beach. We took our breakfast, lunch and dinner with our feet in the sand. The people working there are truly nice and do everything they can to make you enjoy your stay. Food and massage were great and you can ask for a taxi to go to Colombo airport. ++ I recommand.

Lovely place on the beach. Food was really good. Friendly staff. An idea place to have a romantic candlelit dinner on the sand, next to the sea. I would recommend this place.

My experience was pretty good actually, the staff most of all were really very friendly. I liked the rooms, they were pretty comfortable and clean, I can't grumble about the food but they sure can improve their standards somewhat, overall ambiance was fine, nothing out of this world except it was right out there on the beach, I didn't mind the occasional smell of fish from the fisher village activities in the area, after all it is right in the middle of a fishing village, I think I will go back again when I visit the area, all in all the scale tips in their favor for a revisit.

We only ate/drank at the restaurant… 5 times in 2 days. The most casually comfortable beach front place we encountered in the area. Great food, cold beer and wicked nice staff. Yep yep.

This place was amazing! We stayed for two nights and the staff was wonderful. The room was clean, the food was tasty, the beach was beautiful. What more could you ask for! We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who asks. Short walk to the town center. Private feel to the villa. We rented a scooter from them and took a ride down to the blowhole and also to the Lagoon. Thanks to Frangipani we had a few VERY excellent days in Tangalle.

Great place! Lovely hotel in the local style. The rooms have everything necessary in few places is found in Sri Lanka. It is understood only through comparison. First line, beautiful beach, excellent restaurant (very tasty cooked seafood). Excellent access to everything in Tangalle. Attentive, but slow (as everywhere in Sri Lanka), staff. Empathetic and caring. In Tangalle recommend this hotel!

Bed covered with sand on check in, terrible pillows smell like they weren't washed. Food at cafe was not good, and lots of flies in the restaurant.

Nice small Hotel, right on the beach? The rooms are Ok, they have a terras, with a limited seavieuw. The owner, is verry friendly, as also all the staf The food was ok, but we had to wait more as 1 hour the breakfast was super, with fresh juice.

Very basic accommodation but it is clean. The beach is gorgeous and is the reason we stayed two days. The friendliness of the staff was just a ploy to up sell, trips and taxis. When we went to pay our bill with a credit card they went into melt down and insisted we went to an ATM. We knew there was a 13% charge. Unfortunately we are not sure what happened to the taxi drivers fare, we paid the hotel for it in advance and he, at the time of this review, had not recieved it. A disappointing end to a pleasant experience. : — (

What an amazing place to get lost in Sri Lanka! A hidden gem in the south far from the hectic cities and the crowded trains! This place is paradise! You will wake up with the beach two meters away from you, you can relax there while enjoying the best mojitos and a very cold beer! His owner will make your stay a delight and at night you can see how the bioluminescent water lights up when the waves break against the coast! A truly amazing hotel and service!
