Excellent seafood selection for dinner. Friendly staff and good service, with a good selection of food and drink. Rooms are good but go slow on the spiral staircase which can be tricky after a few drinks. Great place to relax.

This restaurant on the beach had a great beach BBQ; select your fish or prawns & they are cooked in front of you. Quite expensive really, but worth it for the experience & watching the sunset on Unawantuna Beach. This restaurant needs to improve tables, seating & attentive staff — I could not find anyone to take our drinks order & had to walk up to the bar!

Great for cocktails (before 8pm) and delicious seafood as well. We started off as fans of the cocktails at sunset — while beer has a set price across the beach the cocktails at the Lucky Tuna start at 600 and pack quite the punch — that is until 8 pm or so when the daiquiris are downsized and the Caipirinhas mysteriously forgot to have rum added. They make excellent fries, for those craving a change from rice and curry, and the prawns and cuttlefish were the highlights of the seafood platter.

People are a divorce. The rooms are disgusting. Staff Hamit with any treatment. The price of booking is not true, because three times more expensive. Photos here and when booking do not match. It happened in places and countries, this hotel is the worst thing I've seen in Asia for such money.

Typical tourist style low quality expensive food. Bad service. The waiter does not pay attention, kept us waiting a long time and he was rude. It is his job to serv his costumers, not the costumers job to please the waiter.

Had dinner and dined several times. Menu as everywhere. In the evening excellent grill. Shrimps 1500 Rupees 16 PCs. Jumbo Shrimp (Large) 2500 for 0.5 kg. Fish 2000-3000 per piece It's enough for two. Seafood mashed Soup (seafood slices) so spicy, but tasty. The juice is fresh tasty. Everything is done quickly enough.

Tasty curry but neponjatlivyj staff. I could not understand that the salad does not need to add sauces and butter.

Nice restaurant on the beach. Was recommended by a local as the best place on unawatuna to get seafood. The seafood was good and there was a few vegetarian options on the menu which were ok. The price was reasonable and the drinks strong. The shaded seating areas were definitely a plus.

We had dinner here on one of our 3 nights in Unawatuna. We picked the place because on a previous night it was jam packed. The fish curry was good, but unlike other places it was just that — a plate of half rice and half fish curry. No sambal, no vegetables, etc. The grilled cuttlefish was also good, but lacking some of the usual accompaniments. Tablecloths were dirty. Service was quick, but at payment time our waiter stood next to us waiting for his tip, despite the 10% service charge already in the bill! weird experience overall, not sure I would return.

Decent place, nice arak sour cocktail, food also tasty but barracuda portion was very very small.

One of the few who accepts cards (but +3.5% Commission will have to pay). Always ice fresh seafood, delicious food, friendly staff. Now just go to them. Still there is Wi-Fi.

Overpriced like most shacks, quality of food and drink below par. Service is neutral.

The restaurant is on the ocean, typical of Unawatuna. The day is aimed at holidaymakers with sun loungers, in the evening works as a respectable institution but on the sand. We went there because of the large number of visitors, unlike the nearby places. Kitchen liked the variety and quality.

The only plausible place on the beach, in my opinion. Delicious Barracuda and tuna topped with a leaf of greens with a light oyster sauce, from the menu, fresh fish, and well cooked on the grill. Patty the taste is much inferior to Thai, due to the fact that it is again on Sri Lanka noodles and small noodles. But due to the fresh seafood you can eat. The menu is more expensive than competitors, but worth it. In the evening there is a choice of fish on ice, barbecue, cooking in the open kitchen, everything to be honest. Ochenki 4 only because Padta.

Nice food, right on the beach.

My butter fish, squid and shrimp were very good. However, the salad of my friend, unfortunately, was without Dressing and in my melon juice (came warm with no ice? ) goods of any amount of chopped watermelon seeds.

Great food and service. A large selection of seafood. Affordable prices. Took mix, could not overpower the two of us.

As well as the restaurant next door on the left, visited often. Everything here is excellent — always tasty, fast, nice waiters. And a little cheaper than the nearby restaurants.

Can in the evening, the barbecue on the beach recommend… super delicious!
