Amazing place. Spacious rooms, comfy bed & incredibly good food served at your own table on the patio just outside your lounge. The staff are efficient & unobtrusive plus of course super friendly as is the Sri Lankan tradition. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Oh man! One of the most beautiful hotels I've been to. Amazing views and friendly staff. Food was also nothing of short. Rooms were designed elegantly. Usually mostly foreigners come here.

Best place for a relaxing holiday in down south srilanka.

I loved Apa Villa. It was private and beautiful. The pool was one of a kind and the rooms were gorgeous. The staff were helpful and friendly. The Manager gave us tips and helped us too. Therw is no restaurant but it is butler service. So you can order food and they bring it right to your patio. The beach was right there too. It was perfect. I loved Apa Villa and will definitely go back.

Very lovely place. Rooms are simple, spacious, and clean. Staff are extremely friendly and the service was fantastic. They know the balance between between attentiveness and privacy. The garden setting is exquisite, with a stunning pool surrounded by lawn and palms. There is a large fishpond where kids are able to feed the fish. The whole location is very tranquil. The only negative side is that along this part of the coast there are lots of sea urchins lurking in the waters which makes it inadvisable to swim in the ocean.

Tranquillity at it's best…

We had booked 33 days before arrival. Only 10 days before check in and 4 days before departure, the hotel manager informed us about the news system from our travel agent that he cancelled the booking. I would have expected the hotel to take care of a replacement together with the travel agent. The hotel was very well located. Also a call from the tour operator was not accepted. Now I had again the excitement and effort to organize a replacement. Is of course not so easy, as most of the good hotels are already booked up and the prices have skyrocketed. Therefore, I can only warn everyone before booking here! I have no words for this behaviour on the part of the hotel. Thanks to the tour operator we now have a replacement accommodation.

Divine. Great setting, staff, food and rooms. Sea is tough but only a few mins away to calmer waters if the lovely pool isn't enough for you.

This place can feel quite hemmed in between the busy road and small beach. If you travel during school holidays it's kids playing by the pool vs people on honeymoon since it's quite a small hotel. Enormous rooms with plenty of space and a beautiful pool. You get your own butler but it means no social get together space really since you eat outside your room on the terrace. Service comes across as a bit bored but nice. There's a cleaning a lady hanging around all day which can feel a bit intrusive. Close to beautiful Galle fort and a walkable distance to the lagoon with turtles at Wiyama beach. Perfect place if you just want to lounge around and have good Wi-Fi.

On the beach. Ideal for families. Infinity swimming pool. Spacious room.
