Very good. Frendly staff. Special thanks for manager. He is really care about guess. Beautiful mountan view and gregory lake. Room is very clean and comfortable. Food is testy. I really hope to come one day. Thank u verry much hotel himawari staff and manager.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Slightly overpriced.

It's a great place to stay in nuwara elia. You won't find a better one than this… Only downside was the restaurant was very very expensive… however u can have good foods near by with a reasonable price… I had a wonderful stay here. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Very good. Its little bit far from. Town like 200 rs to hotel, but u can see the view. Manager is supporting visitors. Nice rooms ok for the price. Its normally cold rooms When the cook is absent yr breakfast will be poor. Other than that all okay.

Decent rooms with no more with a shared bathroom. In any case one thing is sure: do not take breakfast, it is not good at all!

Do not book here, this is the worst decision I have ever made. We arrived at the hotel, and were welcomed by a god awful smell of mould and spices (i am part sri lankan and love spices but this smell was overpowering especially when mixed with the obvious spores of mould). We checked in, there was no one else in the hotel and we were taken to our room. As we entered the smell got worse. Upon scanning the room, there was a bed a plastic table and plastic chairs. The bathroom was dirty and there was no distinction between the toilet and shower as it was a 1m x. 5m room with a handheld bidet for a shower head. Additionally, when standing up off the toilet my partner hit his head on the roof. We stayed for 40 mins max thinking that we would get used to the hotel's surrounding and as we sat on the bed, it was wet. We opened a set of drawers and there was hair the size of mini tumble weeds. We paid the bill and got out of there within 40mins of arriving without saying anything, as at the end of the day, we don't know if the owner would even care. The reviews of this hotel we saw I suspect may be fake (as they provided incredibly good ratings which do no align with the reality of what we saw) and I wish I had taken photos to show that our experience was far from pleasant. While my experience at this hotel was a month ago, I warn others to stay well away as this has been etched in my mind as the worst ever experience.

Clean hotel with great views! It was a bummer that heating wasn't provided in the rooms considering it gets very cold at night. Have to pay extra for heating.

Located near the Gregory's lake facing the lake at an angle of 45 degrees, this property is a fantastic plan to spend your holiday at a very affordable price. The room walls are coated with wood giving a luxury finish. The room is very spacious with a big comfortable bed and cozy double blankets to beat the chilled climate. The next best thing about this property is that the food is so delicious; you would never want to leave the place. It's a 10 to 15 min walk from the lake and we clearly enjoyed the beautiful sunset, scenery and landscapes. Thank you for the warm hospitality Himawari Hills; we made memories for a life time.

Hotel is clean and ok. A bit cold on an unusually cold night. The driver and service staff weren't honest about the prices for a ride / safari though so we paid too much. Was a bit naive of us but have seen better manners.

Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean but the towels are not clean. Good place.

Very good friendly service, really helpful and kind staff. Well maintained budget hotel situated 800 meters away from the Gregory Lake.
